Description of Work: We went to Phoenix Desert Nursery three times in order to use a Living Social coupon for $100. The first two times we went to the location they did not have plants. The third time they had a few which we purchased (about $75 of the $100). After planting, within two weeks about 1/2 of the plants died. All where in the same place. We will likely go by there again to redeem the remaining coupon. That said, we will likely return to Moon Nursery, Lowes or any hardware store. |The folks working at this location are great! Too bad they do not have plants to support them.

 + -1 moreThe owner, Richard's, love and knowledge of desert plants was obvious. The tree he selected was first-rate, healthy-looking, with an excellent root system, not root bound (the cause of many a toppled tree).
Description of Work: Over the last few years I have bought many cacti and succulents for my property from PDN. I wanted to replace a frost-crippled jacaranda with a tree more suited to Phoenix. Richard, the owner, discussed the virtues of several related desert trees (palo brea, little-leaf palo verde, blue palo verde, desert museum palo verde), and after some discussion I settled on a `Desert Museum' palo verde.
