1 star only because 0 isn't an option. Our garage door cable broke and left our garage door crooked. We were quoted $350 and they charged us $510. Then, we get a call in the morning from landscapers in our community saying they found a clipboard with the invoice AND the check we wrote to them just laying in the middle of the street. IN THE MIDDLE OF THE STREET ALL NIGHT. When we finally got a call from them, the lady offered us a discount of $50. Then we get another call from a man that said he shouldn't have to discount anything because they came out and did the work already. He raised his voice to us and even went as far as saying "don't you have any compassion for my employee?" No. Absolutely no compassion for a negligent, irresponsible employee who left our bank information in the middle of the street all night. Absolutely ridiculous.

Unfortunately our garage door broke on a Sunday. It was impossible to open the door manually. Thomas, our serviceman arrived much earlier than expected which we appreciated very much. Thomas was friendly and very professional. He explained in great detail exactly what was needed to fix our door. He also pointed out whoever installed the door only used single springs (cheaper) and should have used doubles! When I called for service I spoke with Rusty and he too was very friendly and professional. He advised a repairman would be out by 4pm. He also gave me his name. Because we have small dogs I asked if Thomas could call before his arrival so I could secure the dogs. They are not biters they are runners. He called both when he was on his way, advising it would be approximately 45 minutes, and when he was 10 minutes from arrival. It worked out perfectly. We believe this company goes above and beyond helping the customer. We would very definitely use them again.

The guy showed up on time, did the installation which include supplying and installing some additional parts which were needed to complete the installation and for which the charges were reasonable. He ran the door up and down a couple of times, I paid him and he left. I had some issues with the remote not wanting to work when I tried using them but put this aside as we were leaving for a month - got back on the 31st but did not use the garage door until the 2nd of January when it became clear that something was wrong. The lights would flash and the door would not close. After reading the user manual, it was clear that either the obstruction sensors were misaligned or not connected correctly. I called Parker Garage Door and the guy essentially told me that it must have worked when their technician left and that if it does not work now - that's my problem. In short - ZERO after sale service. Now I'm going to have to find another installer to come out and fix this. The physical installation seems fine....but I guess I'll know another "professional" has had a look... I expect a service provider to stand behind their work for at least one month....and not disavow any obligation the moment they walk out your door.

They had to take the old spring with them because it was an oversized door and they didnt have the correct size on the truck. Had to return the next day or so to replace the spring only to find out that it was too heavy and door didnt close properly. Took it off and replaced with one on the truck. I think they were very professional and helpful. I didnt check around for prices so i dont know but I think it was a little pricey.

WE WERE ABLE TO GET THEM OUT TO OUR SITE JUST A DAY AFTER CALLING THEM. RATHER THAN PAYING FOR ALL NEW MATERIALS, THEY WERE ABLE TO USE OUR EXISTING DOOR AND MOTOR, AND FIT IT WITH NEW RAILS INTO TO THE NEW GARAGE SPACE, WHICH WAS DIFFERENT FROM THE OLD SPACE. MOST IMPORTANT, THE DOOR NOW WORKS MUCH BETTER THAN IT DID BEFORE, EVEN THOUGH IT'S NOT NEW.

WE WERE VERY PLEASED. THEY WERE PROMPT, FIGURED OUT WHAT WAS WRONG AND QUICKLY FIXED IT.
