OrganiCare Professional Wet Cleaners

High prices and terrible customer service. Over the years, we have probably spent thousands of dollars at this dry cleaner, and despite having issues here and there, we continued to use them because it is conveniently located and offers delivery. The last straw was delivering hundreds of dollars worth of clothes to the wrong home. The gentleman who received my clothes said this was not the first time this had happened. Worse yet, the staff (Jerica) was unbelievably rude and not concerned at all with locating my items or fixing the situation. She claimed there was nothing she could do that evening to locate my clothes, was completely indifferent about the entire situation, and even raised her voice at me. I was shocked at how I was treated after calling about their mistake.

I dropped off my pants and the white dress shirt and told them the stain was turmeric curry powder, because consumer reports says if they do the wrong treatment the first time, some stains can be permanently set. The cleaners didn't seem to care. - I picked it up. The pants were fine, and the arms were folded OVER the stain. I asked for the stain to be fixed. I left it there to redo. I again told them it was turmeric curry powder, but they did not care. - I came a few days later. the redo did not work. they offered to soak the shirt. - It is possible my story is wrong and that I only went twice, not three times, but very unlikely. - I haven't been back yet to see the results, but my point is they don't seem to care about cleaning the shirt, and they tried to cover up the fact they didn't clean the shirt. - UPDATE 10/3/2010: a few weeks after I submitted my initial report, I picked up my shirt. The shirt seems completely clean! So this issue with my particular shirt is resolved.

I love this place! It is a tiny bit more than the $1.50 cleaners you see around town but your clothes will thank you -- and in the long run you'll get more use out of the clothing. My husband loves that his laundered dress shirts do not stand up by themselves from being so stiff. They are soft and keep the same drape that they have when you first buy them. He also likes that his clothes don't smell like chemicals. He is very sensitive to smells and hated sending his things out for cleaning. Now, they get more wear and are cleaned properly. My husband doesn't mention a lot but he said that he likes that all his clothes still have their buttons on them. Evidentally, the other dry cleaners I'd used would break the buttons. Never here! My favorite part is that they do pick up and delivery -- no more trying to rush around getting the laundry and dry cleaning. And it's a free service. Did I mention that I love this place?
