Made a call to One Guard after hours on a Friday evening. The representative who took my call was very professional and polite and gave me the name of the contractor who would visit my home. She also checked with me my email address so she could inform me of the same after our phone call. Within three minutes of me hanging up from my phone call with the One Guard Representative, I received an email alert with the information she promised. The next morning a gentleman called me from the contractor's firm arranging a convenient time to complete the repair on that day. Saturday. He told me he would call me when they were and hour from the house and it would be around 5PM. The contractor that One Guard arranged called me about an hour prior to the agreed time and was on time to have my garage door completely fixed with a new motor all for the nominal service fee of $59. One Guard is a one of a kind company with professionally trained representatives to take your call, deliver what they promise and on time all for a low service fee of $59. I have dealt with two other companies since moving to the USA and tell you that One Guard is a company that wants your business and will treat you the way you would want to be treated by a service company. Congratulations One Guard and your professional staff of people. You are remarkable and Outstanding!

One Guard is horrible. All they do is make up excuses but take your money. So frustrating dealing with them. Last winter when we had a freeze I reported a problem with a leak are our pool equipment. Took them one week to get someone out to diagnose that lied about what WE spoke about. Then took another 2 1/2 weeks to get someone else out. Pool was down for 3-3 1/2 weeks in winter. Not good. Besides we had to pay out of pocket for new heater. Then our Sub zero refrigerator was leaking. I shut down the water line. They sent someone out & said I need a part & that will be $59.00. Three weeks later no part. Again another frustrating situation with One Guard. The next day I called another company & guess what-they had part in stock. I don't understand how you Angie list people can give this company positive feedback. By the way we had been with another warranty company for 12 years that never gave us all these problems.

The service I received from OneGuard was outstanding. The representative I spoke with was very understanding and helpful when setting up the service claim for Arizona TradeMasters(ATM). Theresa with OneGuard and Tonya with ATM kept me informed of all the work needed and when to expect the work to be completed. I would recommend OneGuard Home Warranties to all friends and family members. Fantastic service every time I need the help!

OneGuard uses 3rd party contractors to make repairs to your home. The problem with this model is that the 3rd party does not have any incentive to provide a quality repair, but is highly motivated to keep costs down for the warranty company. For example, my air conditioning compressor went out while under this warranty. The 3rd party contractor installed a new compressor, but chose to tape the wires together with electrical tape rather than use the proper wiring harness. The compressor worked for a year, but then shorted out and caught fire because of the poor wiring job. I was left paying another $800+ for a decent contractor to come out and install the proper wiring harness after the so-called warranty had expired. I am thankful that my home did not burn down. Another detail worth mentioning is that OneGuard only warranties the repairs for 30 days. So, if the same thing breaks again 32 days later (as happened to me on an electrical problem), they will charge another $60 service fee. Finally, OneGuard does not cover everything - animal removal and damage repair, for example, is excluded from coverage. UPDATE: After posting this review, OneGuard contacted me regarding the faulty wiring job performed by their contractor. They apologized for the poor quality, and asked to review a copy of my repair invoice. After emailing it to them, they reimbursed me most of the cost of the repair - even though I was no longer a customer. I appreciate their effort and willingness to do the right thing.

As has been my experience with OneGuard, they send pros out to make the repairs and they get the job done. A/C broke on a rental house. My tenant calls OneGuard directly and scheduled the repair. A very true review is one given to you by a tenant. They told me how fast they were to respond, fixed the problem and left the place without a mess. An A+ in my book. They are not the least expense home warranty company, but you do get what you pay for. For me that is fast, professional repairs. Isn't that what we want in a warranty company?

I contacted OneGuard and my call was answered immediately by a customer care representative. I paid my service fee of only $59.00 and the representative issued a work order to Bohemian Air. Bohemian Air contacted me within 2 hours and was out to fix my AC the same day. The tech was professional and informative. He took the time to explain what the issue was and what he had to do to fix it. He made sure my AC was working properly before he left. My home warranty has saved me hundreds of dollars. I only had to pay the service fee. There were not any hidden fees and no questions asked. OneGuard just took care of it. It gives me peace of mind having a home warranty with OneGuard.

Contractor called within 24 hours as promised. Contractor was on time and very courteous and helpful. Bragged about OneGuard having local relations manager and being best HomeWarranty company he worked with (he worked with 7 in the area)! Quick and thorough repair. All working well now

We were very pleased with the services. I was reluctant at first in obtaining a Home Warranty but after researching and reading their reviews I purchased it not only for our home but for our rental properties. The 1-800 customer service representative, both times that we had to call were very pleasant to work with and we did not feel rushed. In addition, the account representative, Shannon Lopez, when we initially purchased was very well versed on the product and explained everything in detail. We have recommended One Guard to our family and friends. We know that stuff breaks and we are so happy that we chose One Guard to protect our homes.

Tech was very professional. He came on time, he was clean, friendly, responsive, fast and knowlegable he came to the home, got right to work, showed my husband the faucet he would be replacing and the problem of where it was leaking. when my husband saw the faucet that the tech had provided, he asked if the tech would wait a few minutes so that he could go and buy a different faucet. While tech waited, he cleaned the area where water had dripped under the sink. My husband was gone approximately 15 minutes. When he returned, the tech from Cool Blew ( whom One Guard contracts with) tech Bill ? installed the new kitchen sink faucet and chatted with my husband and myself. We were VERY happy with One guard for hiring such a good contractor

The technician came out to my home and provided great service. very knowledgeable and courtesy.. He explained what was going on and what he would need to do to repair my unit. He made the phone call, to OneGuard and they informed me because I have great policy, everything for my repair would be covered.. Very pleased. I would have been lost if it was not for ONEGUARD!!!!! Thank you everyone for being so nice and helpful.

Everything was super simple and convenient! We had a sprinkler valve that busted and OneGuard dispatched Sprinkler Doctors to fix the problem. They arrived within 24 hours of requesting the appointment and fixed the problem. Having this home warranty makes my life at home so worry free. I love it!

We called in the problem into One Guard whom called in the work order to one of their AC contractors. It happen to be Cooling and Heating of San Antonio. The first actual call was on a weekend of 30 Aug 14 when when my AC went out at which time I already knew and was told that the contractor would call me as soon as possible on Monday 1 Oct 14. I understand that since I did not have a medical situation or elderly people that it would not warrant an emergency weekend call. The contractor did contact me and make arrangements to to visit my home 2 Oct 14 when I could be available. Two technicians came out and diagnosed my problem with my unit in less then 30 minutes. Then they took the time to add Freon and try to patch the existing unit as well as blow the drip pipe so that we could get some AC unit approval of a new unit could be obtained and hardware procured and installed. The temporary fix did actually work which we were grateful for in 100 degree weather in Texas. The contractor wrote the report and I was called on 8 Oct 14 by One guard with the approval. The contractor also on 8 Oct 14 to make arrangements to come out to install the new equipment. The equipment was installed and we were cool and running well for a week. Unfortunately we had a small glich with cap and the contractor quickly came out to fix the cap in one day when I call them directly as directed by One Guard. The One Guard Account Executive for San Antonio saw that I had to call back the contractor for the glich and made sure that we had a follow up call. We have had no problems with the system since then. As a matter of fact the system is more efficient then my old system.

The contractor called very quickly and scheduled me in the next day. I had also requested that he call me to let me know he was on the way, which he did. He came in and was very professional, told me what was wrong and said he'd order the part and that he would call back and reschedule once it was in.

The technician arrived towards the end of the time window given. He was extremely professional, very courteous, and gained my confidence immediately that he knew what he was doing. He diagnosed the problem, had the part on his truck, and repair was completed within thirty minutes. He didn't leave any messes from repair behind, which was a bonus!

WOW. Yard Service for only $59.00. I'm not talking about them just coming and trimming the front and leaving. They blew all my fallen leaves and trimmed the bushes both front and back yard completely. They used a yard company called The Yard Doctors that was not only professional and courteous, calling me before hand to let me know they were coming but did excellent work. I just called OneGuard said I needed my yard done and paid $59.00 over the phone. Yard Doctors scheduled a day that would be good for me and they did what had cost me over $100.00 in the past. Of course weeds and tree shaping would be extra but I didn't need that done.

I love OneGuard! Before I signed up with OneGuard, I shopped several home warranties. I ended up choosing OneGuard because they have very few limits in their contract, and also due to the things they offer that I didn't find anywhere else. They have treatments for my lawn, they offer pest control, and they even have carpet and window cleaning services! Every time I call them, the service is outstanding, prompt, and also very fair and honest. So far I have had two repairs done by contractors through OneGuard, and both have been wonderful. The contractors they sent were professional, on time, and thorough. The best part is that I only have to pay a service fee of $69.00 when they come out, no mater what they are repairing or replacing, and I don't have to go through the hassle of finding someone or making the repair myself. I recommend them to all of my friends and family, and neighbors.

Cool Blew came out on three occasions and never complained, especially when I was anxious and uncertain about what I was dealing with. They were professional, kind and found both leaks and repaired them. Even when I called a third time because I thought there was another leak, they came out next day and found it was only residual dampness from the original leak. They're the best; great company, great guys..

The service performed exceeded my expectations. OneGuard addressed my needs in a timely, courteous and professional manner, ensuring great care was taken to relay the problem to the appropriate subcontractor. This was at least the fourth claim I have called in on my home warranty. Every call has been conveniently scheduled, always keeping me informed of the problem with quick resolution. OneGuard's selection of subcontractors is commendable as it would appear they hold them to a very high standard of service. Every subcontractor I have dealt with for my home repairs have been as professional and courteos as the OneGuard representatives. It's wonderful to know I can trust OneGuard to have done the research and due diligence to ensure I have an affordable, quality, reputable service company at hand. It certainly saves me the headache of looking for a plumber or air conditioning service myself. I purchased this home warranty when I bought my home in 2008. I will never let it lapse! I love the security of knowing OneGuard has me covered for those special unexpected joys of homeownership.

He was dressed very professionally, the office was courteous, they called before hand and he called when he was on his way. Very professional, very courteous.

Deceitful practice and slow contractors Positive Update: I was contacted by the customer relations team at One Guard and they have fixed the issues that I have had with the last 2 repairs. While I don't like that I had to escalate to an online review, they did do very well with the resolution. I hope that my service requests in the future go smoothly.

I have had One Guard for approximately 11 years (Service One initially bought out by One Guard). I have had only one problem and it was addressed to my satisfaction. I have had plumbers, A/C, landscapers for water system to plants and every one of their contractors is top notch.

Contacted this home warranty company for a due to an A/C unit not cooling. Within a few minutes the provided the info for the contractor that was going to be performing the work. That contractor contacted us with an hour and they arrived the following morning. Fixed the problem. One Guard warranty has a very simple process to order service either online or on the phone. I've had this company for a few years and plan to keep them. As a real estate agent I see lots of warranty company service calls and issues. This company is the industries best.. There may be less expensive warranties out there but you will really notice that you get what you pay for.

OneGuard sent out a contractor to fix my dryer. Elite Appliance Repair showed up and determined that my heating element needed replaced. He called the supply house on Thursday and the part was all the way on the other side of town. Another technician, actually I found out later it was the owner of Elite Appliance Repair, drove to Tempe Thursday afternoon, picked up the part, so that my dryer could be repaired on Friday, versus me having to wait the entire weekend for a Monday repair. While at my home on Friday, the technician was changing out the heating element and noticed that there was another item on my dryer that would soon fail. He made a recommendation to go ahead and fix it while the dryer was already apart and showed me exactly what he was talking about. Since he didn't have that particular part on his truck with him, he called the supply house, drove over and picked up the new part, came back and fixed me right up. I am so happy the guy noticed the other issue and went ahead and fixed them both. My experience with Elite Appliance Repair and their technician was super great. I am so glad I have a home warranty because fixing my dryer without my warranty would have cost me well over $300.

We are very satisfied with the service and completed repairs and would highly recommend OneGuard.

The service call was easy. You call in the problem and then One Guard finds a company to complete the repair. We got a call from the repair company the next day and they scheduled the repairs. The response time was fast and the company was professional and knowledgeable. Having One Guard gives us peace of mind. Also by only paying a deductible once they arrive saves us alot of money where as without it we would of paid alot more. Our service call was $59.00 and the part alone was $379.00 to purchase from a pool supply company. I would recommend that everyone has a home warranty.
