Description of Work: We'd been wanting to have our gas fireplace cleaned and serviced for many years and had never found anyone to do it. I took advantage of a special offer on Angie's list with a reduced price and discovered this great company. The gentleman who came out and serviced and cleaned our unit and gas logs was a credit to his company. He was professional and very helpful in his explantation of how to care for our unit. Thank you Angie's List and Robert, the serviceman. Great job!

Description of Work: The experience was very positive. The serviceman was on time, provided the services needed to get the gas fireplace working again, and alerted us that we would want to get a carbon monoxide alarm, as a precaution. He was a good communicator and when he left we were very satisfied with his visit.

Description of Work: I purchased a heating/cooling contract last year with this company and re-purchased a contract for this coming year. I have been in this house 6 years now and have had several different companies come out to do the bi-annual service of either the heating unit or the air conditioning unit. This company did the most complete job/cleaning and testing of all of the companies. You can get these services done cheaper but you will most likely not have a thorough job done. The contract includes a discount if there are repairs needed during the year.

Description of Work: I had a new a/c unit put on my house in Jan. 2010 by "AZ Fire & Ice" (long story-but would not recommend this company). Anyway, I had a/c problems in 2011 and got a couple of opinions, one company thought my a/c unit was too small. I purchased this coupon with "North Valley Mechanical" on Angie's List for a "check-up" just in case i had another problem in 2012. Sure enough, the a/c was having problems again getting below 77. Robert (a Field Supervisor) came out, thoroughly checked out the unit and the inside of the home, he noticed my "return air duct" was actually a little smaller that what it needed to be for this size unit, Robert explained all the technical reasons why this was a problem. He also found a very small leak so he made the repair and added freon to the unit. My a/c is working better this summer than it ever has, so I'm extremely pleased and "highly" recommend North Valley Mechanical, I personally would ask for Robert.
