He put in a ceiling fan for me. It was a good experience, he did fine.

Rodolfo and his team of specialists were as good as you could hope for! The challenge was to coordinate the various steps with the Tempe safety building inspector. First we needed to break the concrete floor to route a drain for the new sink, toilet and shower. Then after that passed inspection a new wall was framed to house the bathroom and the kitchen was framed to change the entry and make a breakfast bar. Next the wiring and duct work were done all in accordance with city code which then passed inspection. After that drywall was installed and right after that the tile work was done in the bath. Rather than install a prefab shower which sometimes crack and leaks we wanted a concrete bottom tiled surface and a tiles installed floor to ceiling. The final step was trim and painting then passing the final city inspection. The finished product was perfect and was obviously done by a professional. Rodolfo was communicating on an almost daily basis for this 6 week project. He was always a phone call away and answered within 2 rings. He was so knowledgable about how to do framing, plumbing, electrical and any other aspect of remodeling and had good insight into what the inspectors look for. He and his team were very pleasant and patient. If you need to do a remodel of any type get a few estimates first then call Rodolfo since he is the one you will want to do the job.Ron K.

Rodolfo was great to work with- he gave me a detailed quote and stuck to the timeline he gave me. As I had additional requirements come up, he was good about working them in to his schedule and getting them done- my fault for not asking about the price, as I was a little surprised by the final bill. However, I think the work was top quality and totally worth it- I should have asked before submitting the change order. Rodolfo does great work at an honest price, and you can count on him to show up when he says he will- thanks Rodolfo!

Rodolfo was on time and had a very nice personality. His work was excellent and he gave me specific ideas for how to fix some other things on my own. Very generous with his knowledge.

Rodolfo arrived on time with a co-worker. They installed 7 ceiling fans, 3 downstairs and 4 upstairs. They were careful not to bang into walls with their equipment and ladders. He was very friendly also. Took him about 3 hours to install all of the fans. About 1 week later, one of the fan lights in the downstairs bedroom did not work. The fan worked but not the light. Also, one of the fans in the loft was wobbling when the speed was on high. I emailed him Saturday evening and he came by Sunday morning to look at the fans. Neither were caused by improper installation but the light not working is because of the home itself. The manufacturer of the ceiling fan that wobbles is at fault for that fan. He came back out and did not charge for trip fee or for trying to fix the problems. I watched him tighten the wiring for both fans and in the lightswitch too. Did not correct the problem so it will be up to the builder to correct the problem. I did not expect him to come back out so quickly but he did the right thing and followed up with us immediately. I called on Saturday afternoon, the handyman was available on Sunday. Originally called to have him switch ceiling fans, which he did easily and quickly. He obviously has done this many times and was quick and efficent. He did not need to take them all apart. While there he saw that we were having trouble getting the old refrigerator out (door was changed and now too small to get refrigerator out). He removed the door and put it back. He provided most of the labor to move the fridge out as well (large side by side). This turned out to be a much larger than anticipated project, but he worked very efficently and quickly. He said that he quoted higher because he did the work on Sunday afternoon (of Thanksgiving weekend). It was worth the money because he got all the work done, plus the extra. He cleaned up everything after the work. He also has a great personality, very nice to work with and seems prepared to do any task.

Rodolfo was on time with all the equipment he needed to accomplish the job; I already had the new framed door. Rodolfo was very careful and meticulous in ensuring the door frame was plumb and that the door was level so it would close properly. This involved considerable effort using shims and cutting some tile as the floor around the old door frame had previously been tiled. He also explained what he was doing as he went along, something I appreciated as it would have been difficult for me to do all of this myself. Although there wasn't much of a mess, Rodolfo made sure everything was cleaned up when he was finished. The job did take the entire 2 hours. If you need a handyman, Next Level Remodeling, Inc. is a good place to go. I would definitely use Rodolfo again.

Emailed me regarding the job. Called to state when he would start the job. Purchased the materials, and was concerned about matching the ceiling side trim. Cleaned up his job site and didn't get debris in the pool. Protected the windows and french doors from paint splatter. The ceiling looks great!!!!!

I am very happy with Mr. Mendez's work. I walked the property with him, told him what I needed to have done. I asked for a Bid Proposal and the delivered at a fair price. We accomplished the work in a timely manner and we were very pleased.

I am using this house for my retirement home so I was not in town when the work was done. Rudolfo was very good at keeping me informed on the progress of the project and very willing to adjust when I had a change of mind about what I wanted him and his crew to do for me. They were very professsional in giving me advice on how things could be repaired and kept in budget yet allowing me to have the house of my dreams. I am looking forward to living in my beautiful retirement home.

Not being a novice to home remodeling, it did not take me long to recognize there were issues with the sub contractors I had engaged to complete my son's remodel of his 1,600 sq ft house. I was impressed with his broad working knowledge of all aspects of remodeling. His very competitive bid also did not hurt. Throughout the remodel he had the additional challenge of correcting other contractor's errors. Rodolfo takes great pride in his work and will ensure it is done right the first time. My confidence with him, his brother Abe and team grew during the process to where I pretty much accepted his recommendations over the phone, something that I typically would never do. My wife, son and I are extremely pleased with the results. He completed the job within the agree price and on time. We intend on using Rodolfo again to remodel our home. The ultimate complement came when other contractors that had seen the property before Rodolfo started came to finish their work commented on the good quality of workmanship. I cannot pin him down as to what the cost would be. I have had him give me three estimates. He has made many mistakes on estimates. His prices are from 3000 dollars for something I do not want, to 5000 and he was just all over the board. He was very poor at giving me estimates. He did not take notes when going over the house with me, and tried to create the estimates from his memory. He is very polite, and professional on the way he talks about things. He is very knowledgable. He just needs to do better with the estimates. I would give him an F for the three estimates that he submitted. They were incomplete and had left out many things I had asked for.

we recently purchased a patio home and because this house was built in 64' there was never any hookups for laundry. Rodolfo added washer and dryer plumbing and electric in our home, closed one door opening and opened a new door opening for our new closet. he did a FANTASTIC job!!! I HIGHLY recommend them and I plan on having them out again soon for more remodeling projects.

We recently purchased a foreclosed home in much need of some cosmetic TLC. We researched and interviewed a handful of general contractors which ran from out of this world expensive to not licensed or insured to obviously not interested in the job. Frustrated we went to the BBB.org site and filled out a ?request a bid? form, happily Next Level Remodeling/Rodolfo Mendez contacted me early the next morning and the rest is history. We were immediately impressed with Rodolfo?s level of professionalism, knowledge and later were equally impressed by his work ethic and do things right the first time mentality. His bid was significantly less than his competitors plus he threw in a lot of little extras along the way. We think Next Level is a level apart from other general contractors. They do excellent high quality work in an organized fashion cleaning up as they go plus the work was completed ahead of schedule and on budget. They are excellent at keeping the homeowner informed and educating them to potential trouble spots. Their advice and resourcefulness saved us more than a few times during the course of this project. An example of what sets them apart; shortly after purchasing our home we were notified by our security company, around 11pm, that we had been broken into. We called Rodolfo to let him know in case he had any property in the house that may have been stolen that needed to be reported to the police. Without missing a beat he offered his assistance in getting the house secure again. He and his wife showed up around midnight stayed until 1:30am securing the window at absolutely no charge to us. Coming to our home to secure it at midnight is far outside the scope of the contract we signed to us it shows the integrity of the person who is Next Level Remodeling. Next Level is our choice for any job around the home big or small. Since the job has completed Rodolfo has been back at least twice and we plan on having him back again.
