I found him to be competent and professional. I was pleased to be connected to this person.

It was horrible from the moment the technician arrived. He complained about the custom cabinetry around my dryer and even damaged the edge of the wood at the bottom. He said that the dryer vent hose and the cord were too short and rather than come up with a long-term solution, he called another technician to help him put it back in place. So I had to pay double for two technicians. And, as it turns out, he didn't put the hose back in place securely and about one month after the cleaning, I had moisture and heat venting directly into my cabinet when the hose came loose. I had to call another appliance company that came out with ONE technician and without struggle replaced the hose with a longer more flexible hose and a longer power cord. I would not use Mr. Appliance again after this fiasco - poor customer service and poor problem solving.

On February 23rd utilized online scheduling for a dryer vent cleaning to occur on March 1st. Received confirmation email for this appointment. The day of the appointment received a call that the company doesn't provide this service.

I was able to message Mr. Appliance on the weekend and made an appointment for Monday morning. Mr. Appliance was on time. Very professional, and was able to quickly diagnose and repair our refrigerator. Will definitely be calling or messaging Mr. Appliance for any future needs.

Replaced part but still needed to replace the fridge

Our refrigerator stopped running in the afternoon and I called Mr. Appliance at 5:00 PM. They answered and scheduled a service call the next morning. Daren arrived as promised and diagnosed the problem. He had the electrical replacement part on the truck and within less than 24 hours the refrigerator was back in operation. I would definitely use them again.

Responsive service and showed us how to avoid the problem in the future. We initially had an issue with getting charged by mistake, though we had paid for a coupon, but the company was very helpful in straightening it out right away.

When well. the technician was ready and after troubleshooting the entire unit was replaced. After several companies being contacted you were the only company flexible. Thank you so much!

Just to preface this;, the beginning has to do with the reason we contacted Mr. Appliance of Midtown. The door lock mechanism for my washer was no longer functioning. We contacted the warranty repair company and they setup a service with another company. When they called to schedule the time to come out, we gave them the error code from the washer and told them what Whirlpool said was the problem. We did this so we wouldn't have to wait two weeks for a part. The technician showed up as scheduled, a week after the initial call and looked at the washer. He verified the code that we gave him and said that he will order the part and contact us in a week when he had the part. We told him that we already gave the information to his dispatch so that he could have the part when he came out. He said that's his job and not theirs. When we asked to speak to his supervisor he said he didn't have one. After he left we contacted warranty people and said we wanted someone else to fix our washer. They suggested Mr. Appliance of Midtown and I am glad that they did. They were prompt in getting in contact with us and scheduling a time to fix the washer. We gave the error code from the washer to them and told them what Whirlpool said would be the problem, the door lock mechanism. The technician showed up with part in hand and replaced the mechanism. We were very happy with the prompt response and professionalism of Mr. Appliance of Midtown and will gladly do business with them again.

We have used Mr Appliance multiple times over the past two plus years. They are very friendly, helpful and responsive on the phone. The technicians are super knowledgeable and really take the time to get it right. I thought I was going to have to replace my dishwasher, but the repairman replaced a gasket and let me know what type of dishwasher soap to use, and it works like new! I've found in the past that many repair companies either don't want to take the time or don't have the skill set to complete a repair. They are definitely our go-to company.

Returned with a possible problem solver but didn't need it....

Thought they were very good, they came when they said they would, were very polite and all in all did a great job!!

They were prompt and did a careful and excellent job. I appreciated that the person on the phone discussed with me ahead of time what they would be doing, and what possible problems might arise (even though they didn't anticipate them).

George showed up on time and stuck to it despite some difficulties not of his making. Will use him again

The serviceman was thorough, very professional and I was happy with him. He didn't do anything that I would complain about.

George arrived promptly and after a friendly conversation about what might be wrong, went, confidently, right to work. We had tried to fix it ourselves and were out of ideas. After just a few minutes of examining the dishwasher, George knew exactly what to do. He quickly ordered a new part, which came in cheaper than buying a whole new dishwasher. The dishwasher is still going strong.

It went very well. George was fast, very pleasant and porofessional. Our freezer was useless to us. George fixed it, and noticed during the job that our condenser coils were dirty (makes the freezer work harder). He also cleaned the coils without charging us for it.

It went very well. He did what he said he would do, when he said he would do it.

The service was horrible. We had to call the company on that. That did not go very well. We would not recommend or use their services anymore. When the gentleman showed up, we had advised prior to his arrival what the issue was. When he gets here, he just did not represent his company very professional. He had a very bad body odor. His appearance was not very professional. The point was he did not understand what I was trying to explain to him. I told him that we have a leak. There is always water at the bottom. I said that I think that it was a little connector hose that we had for a filter. When he plugged it in, it worked. It worked fine. We have not had any issues, but he was bad mouthing his company. I believe he was giving us bad information about his company that he works for and he would not give us an invoice. We asked specifically. We were told that one price would cover the repairs. When he gets there, he did not want to give us an invoice for the work. I told him that I needed to show records that he was here and the price. When the invoice comes, we do not want to be shell-shocked because we were told one thing and he was going to go out the door and he just huffed-and-puffed. He finally gave in and gave us an invoice. We were just like “wow! We could not believe this guy”, but as a professional handyman or repair person, we were just all in shock with his attitude and appearance and the way he represented his company was not professional. We did reach out to the company. He did get the issue fixed. There was no problem, but if it was not for me telling him what the problem was, he was not going to fix it. Us being women and he being a man and being a repair person did not think we knew what was going on and when I called him, his responsiveness is poor. He was here.

The technician, Gary, was very familiar with this problem. He helped me take everything out of the refrigerator, and then took the back off and clean out the ice which had formed when the drainage line for the defrost cycle had frozen over. He cleaned it out very quickly and then helped put back all the shelves etc in the refrigerator. Gary was very knowledgeable about the problem and wasted no time fixing it. He was clean and neat, and had all the proper tools with him. I would use him (and only him) in the future for any of my other appliances. He was polite and has been in the business for 25+ years. I called on a Saturday, and he was here on Monday right on time. Mr. Appliance is one of the few companies that work on Saturdays which is great to know. I would recommend Mr. Appliance to anyone who has a problem with large appliances. Gary the technician has serviced them all. Great find for us. Thank you, Angie for having him on your list.
