MOVER MIKE

My overall experience with the service was excellent. Their price was reasonable. They were punctual. They were very responsive and professional.

I could not have been happier. I recommend Mover Mike to everyone I meet. He and his wife Fran are a two-"man" dynamo that never seem to tire. Their attention to detail and the care they take are outstanding. Every possible "rub point" was carefully padded (we have a cherry wood and wrought iron handrail that continues the length of the upstairs hall and around the loft). The hardwood floors were meticulously protected with cardboard. We had NO DAMAGE to our home or our goods as a result of Mike and Fran's work during any of our three moves. Since they don't own their own truck, we rented one locally. Mike will offer to drive it if you wish--not sure how the insurance works on that but it was great when he maneuvered it through our winding apartment complex. They did however supply all the moving "stuff" like dollies, pads, tape etc. They will pack (and unpack) your home if you choose and sometimes have used boxes for sale from previous unpack jobs--much cheaper than buying new and for us just as good. The best compliment I can make is that I almost, and then wished I had, called them to move our new refrigerator into place. I KNEW the fridge delivery guy would tear up our brand new hardwood floor and guess what--I was right! (had to settle with the appliance store to REPLACE it) I have full faith and confidence in Mike that if he'd installed it, our floors would have still looked new when he left. I wouldn't call anyone else to move my belongings. The rates are beyond reasonable and the service is fantastic.
