What I did like is that I now know what a foam roof is supposed to look like. We had a foam roof before that was improperly installed. This roof is solid and I think it is going to hold up for years. I can tell the difference in our house and how comfortable it is because of the installation of the roof, it is so far superior to what we had.
The contract stated that they were going to remove the rotten wood and rebuild soffits on the side of the house and it was not done. I did not like that they left rotten wood in places they were supposed to remove. They did help make the roof look okay after we complained about it, but what we asked for was not done. They knew the roof was in horrendous condition and we were expecting all of the boards to have to be replaced. We were concerned this would cost us more than what they allotted for the sheets, but they did not use any. I am in a dilemma with my porch roof because I have five to six sheets of plywood that need to be replaced but we are not doing the work on the underside because we would have to rip the roof off.
The person in charge came out and addressed our concerns at the end of the project, but we still have rotten wood in my house. They addressed the finish work that we did not like, but I am not completely satisfied with the work. This is something they should have looked for before. I am not going to say I would not use them, I just would not use them for this type of project. If we did not have a rotten roof I think it would have been just fine. I think they are capable of doing the work, but we had to be out there watching.
