While there were communication problems early on, everything was resolved in the end. Lyon's went above and beyond to repair the roof the way i needed it.

They came to make the estimate on time and because I had used them long ago they gave me a price reduction. They cleaned around the house when completed and worked through the weekend to make sure it was completed in a timely manner.

They were on time for the estimate and work. The work was completed within two days and everything was cleaned up properly.

It's beautiful! It reminds me of a swimming pool. They did a fantastic job.

I have to say, I was very impressed. We did get a quote for possible repair to the area right above the leak, which seemed reasonable. What impressed me though is that he mentioned he couldn't really see where the roof was leaking, but he did see some damage to a window sill. He mentioned that it was very possible that was our trouble and it would be a heck of a lot cheaper to repair than pulling up the whole roof. He suggested we try to see if we could get it to leak from that area by pouring water over it and asked me to let him know the results if it came up positive. Let me tell you, he was right. It was the window. He could have easily ignored that and had us pay for an expensive repair that would have done nothing for our problem. I am very impressed with the integrity and honesty he showed. This company will definitely be my go to for any roof repairs in the future.

We contracted with Lyons Roofing to replace our roof based largely on their superior ratings. When the project foreman came to our house prior to the work, I gave him a short written list of of our concerns. Number one was to protect our relatively new high efficiency (expensive) Air Conditioning system and associated duct work. They removed the old roof and sprayed on the new roof in one day. The spray work was good. However, In the process of moving the A/C unit and evaporative cooler (we have both) so that they could spray, they damaged the duct work leaving several substantial air leaks, left the A/C unit tilted at an angle so that the condensate would not drain properly. buckled the bottom of the evaporative cooler, and left the cooler stand in shambles. We had them level the A/C unit the next day, but were unaware of the leaks until several weeks after they had finished. One leak was allowing outside air to enter the A/C unit directly (unfiltered and hot). Another leak was allowing cool air to escape to the outside. This leak was caused by a vent cover on the bottom of the A/C that had been bent during the moving process. Rather than have Lyons return (we had lost all confidence in their ability to repair the damage), we fixed the leaks and the cooler and stand ourselves. Lyons also had suggested that we place metal liners inside the scuppers to help ensure that the roof drained properly and didn't leak. We agreed that this was a good idea. The problem was that the liners were too large. The workers started hacking away at our block house to enlarge the holes until they broke off a piece of block on the outside of the house. At that point, we ask them to stop before more damage was done. They subsequently sent out a repairman to fix the damage to the block. What prompted this review two years after their work was the following: This month we wanted to pull the evaporative cooler away from the duct work to inspect the damper and duct work prior to the summer hot season. The cooler was originally held to the duct work and the house by 12 sheet metal screws. When Lyons removed the cooler so that they could spray the roof they did not replace any of the screws holding it on the roof! Instead, they just moved the cooler close to the duct work and sprayed foam around it. Very shoddy workmanship to say the least.

Lyons Roofing did an exceptional job in all phases of replacing my tile roof. Starting with the estimate phase, they explained the entire process of replacing the roof and all the associated costs very clearly. During all phases of the job from removing old tile, haul away, replacing underlayment, replacing metal flashings, replacing all old tile with new tile, and cleanup of all debris from roof and ground; the work was done very professionally by all Lyons employees. They worked hard to keep the work site clean and safe everyday. All the employees I came in contact with worked very hard and had good attitudes.

My experience with Lyons Roofing was excellent from my first contact with them right to the end. They were very professional and explained the whole process in great detail. I had 4 different quotes for this roofing job and I can tell you that their pricing was very similar to the other roofing companies. I chose them because I felt they were the best fit for me.

Initially, I called and got an appointment set up easily, and it sounded like they were going to be helpful. The sales guy showed up at the appointed time, talked to me about the materials they use for walk decks, and left me with some samples and an expectation that I would soon be emailed a quote. Days passed, nothing. I called him; he said that he was just about to call me to let me know that they didn't want to give me a proposal until I finished the new doors I was having installed and they could see the new thresholds. As soon as the door installations were finished, I called back. He said he would have some availability later in the week to take a look but was on the road and would call me back in an hour to set up the appointment. He never called. I texted him two days later. No response. Obviously he's not interested in the job for whatever reason, but I sure would have appreciated a direct explanation of why rather than wasting everyone's time. I can offer one positive, which is that, while their guy was here, he inspected the rest of my roof and reported that it didn't require any immediate attention. I did appreciate that honesty.

The service was great! They promptly returned my phone call and provided me a quote for additional things I wanted done to the roof. They showed up on time and did not leave a mess.

The work is ongoing, but they have done a good job so far.

It was a part of a follow up to the original work and so, there was no cost. They originally replaced a roof on our house. I gave them a B just because they had to call them back to come and fix it. I would use them again in future. They did fine. They had to come back out and fix something and they came back and fixed it.

Lyons was not the lowest bid, but I felt they were the most knowledgeable and committed to doing the job right. Jeff Neils and Ron Holts had a combined 30 years of roofing experience. They were able to diagnose problems and explain to me in laymen's terms exactly what needed to be done. I went with Lyon's because I felt they were committed to doing the job correctly and not just trying to shortcut the job with the lowest bid. Because they were careful in examining the roof, there were no surprises later. A + quality job. Thanks Lyons!

Quickly assessed situation to rule out leak.

I was considering having my flat roof garage re-roofed after some leakage and degradation issues were observed. I ultimately decided to patch repair myself and postpone the re-roof for another 1-3 years. I contacted about four highly rated roofers on AL, and was kind of surprised by the unresponsiveness, and impunctuality. It is clear that all of the contractors all knew their trade well and probably were as they all claimed to be, very busy. However the one exception to the poor communications and follow-up was Lyons Roofing. Which is why I wrote this review.

Very professional. showed up when they said. finished the job in three days. cleaned up all their mess.

Excellent experience. We initially had a few scheduling issues that had to be worked through but once the work started they were very good. Work took a bit over a week, but they did a very competent job. Cleaned up every day. Supervisor swung by often to check the work and they communicated everything they did. They were not the lowest bid we got but the quality of their work and their professionalism were worth the difference.

after finally getting someone out to take a look at it he never even got on the roof he just looked at it from the ground and then quoted me a full re roofing of my house. the end job would have been around 8k but the only part of the eve that was bad was the bird stop and it cost me 2 dollars and my painting company installed it while painting my house. i gave them a few extra bucks for it.

They originally re-scheduled from Friday to Monday, but when they showed up they did the work within 2 hours. Allstate has not reviewed yet to see if the work is acceptable.

Just had my walking deck done and am very satisfied. I found Lyons Roofing on Angie's List - they had an A rating and now I know why. I was impressed with each person throughout the process, from the sales guy (Mike), to the project mgr (Darren) who kept us informed, to the guys who did the job who obviously knew what they were doing. The price was fair and the quality and customer support was great.
