Never had work done due to them totally flaking out on me

When they came out to do the estimate they told me that to get up on to my upper roof would be a minimum $350 service call. But he said that since my roof was less than 10 years old I would only need the 2 roof tiles replaced and not a full roof inspection. I mentioned that I was looking at an Angie's List Big Deal that would cover this small repair and that I would purchase that. Lyons Roofing then said he would hop up on the lower roof and check the underlining of the roof tile so that I will know whether it is all good there or not. He said it was all okay. **Update** I'm not 100% on how this review took F's for most items but 'A' for overall. NOT what I intended. Should have been A for overall but the rest N/A. I just happened to check my review and noticed this and the comment from Lyons. The "Big Deal" I referenced was me sharing with the Lyons rep that there was a Big Deal from another vendor that would be quite a bit less than Lyon's service fee. The Rep shared he believed it was a good deal and did me a favor of checking the underlining so I had some knowledge in case the other vendor tried to mislead me. I really appreciated that and WOULD look to Lyon's in the future for work to be done if the price is right.

We are the original owners of a 17-year old home. The patio roof had failed and some fascia had also failed. We were told that the original home builder had not properly done the patio roof, and in fact other builder-built patio roofs in the same subdivision by the same builder are all prematurely failing. The job took one day. Once the roofing materials were removed it was determined that two sheets of decking material need replacing, along with about 16 feet of fascia and some other small wood. Once the wood was obtained and in place they placed a sheet of material down and then placed the real watertight material over that and used a torch to heat and seal the roof. In all the job took about eight hours with a two-man crew. While I know there are less expensive options out there I wanted top quality and I felt I got it at an acceptable price. I plan on using Lyon's again when the roof over my house needs replacement in the next few years.

Lyons is a very customer-oriented company. I was very satisfied with their service. They were punctual, kept me informed as to what was going on, and did a splendid job on my roof. I would recommend them without any reservations.

Jim was great and initially offered to move the cracked tiles to the back of the roof, seal them, and place the perfect tiles on the front side to preserve the look of the house. This would have been a functionally good repair, but since we are going to be selling the house in the near future, we did not choose that option. Jim gave a reasonable estimate (Lyons roofing has a minimum $350 fee) for locating similar tiles and coming back to do the repair. He could not guarantee that the tile used for the repair would match what we currently have. While Jim was writing up the estimate for the repair, he also took a look at our entire roof and did an estimate for a completely new roof if we should decide to do that in the future. He explained a lot about our current roof, how it was constructed and how well it was holding up (our house is 16 years old). We learned a lot from him and appreciated him taking the time to do such a thorough job of estimating and explaining and giving us options. The reason we did not choose Lyons roofing to complete our repair is that we had another provider who offered to locate our exact tiles from a salvage yard, and complete the repair for less than the Lyons estimate. That option was better for us since we will be selling soon. Jim was very friendly, professional and helpful. We would definitely recommend Lyons roofing to anyone needing roof repair or replacement.

Initial meeting went really well, the job got started on time and everyone involved on the job was professional and got the job done on time. The clean up was awesome and they even made sure to make my backyard better looking than it was when they started. I did have some questions, I don't remember the exact things I had concerns with, but the bottom line was that Lyon's roofing took on my problems as their own and correct any and all issues I had, they were great!

I am pretty happy overall. Lyons had a cancellation and was able to move the project up 3 weeks. the estimator did an excellent job of inspecting the roof and recommending various options. The options were discussed and an appropriate agreement was made for high quality at a negotiated value price. As stated, I was happily surprised when a scheduler celled and advised that they could do the project the following week. Lyon delivered the metal edging in plenty of time for me to paint it on the ground. the crew was a little late and seem to split their time, however they worked hard and were friendly and sensitive to my needs. The job supervisor was very responsive and informative. He made a special trip to the site to answer my questions. He appointed a well qualified stand -in to cover on a "vacation day". THEY BOTH WENT OUT OF THEIR WAY TO KEEP ME INFORMED AND SATISFIED. The only problem I had was final\l clean-up Everything looked clean but I believe that they failed to do a promised final magnet sweep as I found many nails over the next week..That is why I dinged them on the "professional" score. I am happy to recommend Lyon"s Roofing to friends and relatives. LYON"S IS AN EXCELLENT ROOFING COMPANY !!

THE SALES REP, PAM BONACCI, WAS VERY THOROUGH EXAMING MY ROOF AND EXPLAINING THE OPTIONS FOR REPAIR. I WAS COMFORTABLE WITH THE PRICE QUOTE SHE PROVIDED. DURING THE WORK THE PROJECT MANAGER, DUSTIN HAMMON, CALLED EVERY DAY TO INFORM ME OF THE PROGESS. MY PROPERTY WAS CLEARED OF DEBRIS AFTER EVERY WORK DAY.

It went exactly the way it was proposed to me and they cleaned up after themselves everyday they were there. They also supplied pictures of the work after they were finished. They did a follow up appointment to check with me to make sure everything was taken care of. I was very satisfied with the work they completed.

I researched the different types of flat roof applications including bitumen, built up roofs which are the most common. The existing roof is a built-up. I was intrigued by a fairly new process, urethane foam application. I requested bids from six roofers. Only two could provide urethane foam installation in Tucson. Urethane foam can be applied to a new roof, existing roof tear off, or as an overlayment to any existing flat roof. The insulation "R" value is higher than a built-up roof and there is never any chance of leaks as the product is sprayed on with no gaps or seams. Big plus! Pricing. No consistency from one bid to the next. Each roofer wanted to do something different. From a complete roof tear from one to only patching leaks from another. So comparing pricing was not easy. I settled on overlayment of the existing roof and replacement of the patio roof and asked the bidders to revise the pricing accordingly. Only 4 of the 6 responded. One would not provide overlayment, only a complete tear off, but could never specifically tell me why a complete tear off was necessary. Only that older roofs should be torn off. Needless to say I was not impressed. Sales Process. One roofer stood out among them all, Lyons Roofing. The sales reps from Lyons Roofing took extra time to explain the different types of roofing systems, were the most professional in their approach, brought samples of the product and provided a thorough explanation of why urethane foam was a dramatic improvement over bitumen, or rolled roofs. The pricing was also in line with the other bidders, albeit slightly higher. I chose Lyons. Installation. I was assigned a project manager who called a week before the install and scheduled time to review my order and visually inspect the roof. He took copious notes and made additional suggestions (skylight options). The crew showed up when promised and were professional and courteous. They were careful to lay down drop cloths to catch debris and cleaned up after they left. The project manager checked in with me each day and performed a final inspection with me when complete. Top notch. The urethane roof was the right choice. Lyons knows how to run a business, not just install roofs. IMPORTANT - Lyons does not subcontract the roof tear off like other companies who pay temp employees by the job. Take the risk if you will, but that didn't sit right with me and was glad Lyons did all the work themselves.

Their clean up was very professional. We would use NO other roofing firm. Can recommend them without reservation. When we replace the whole roof. they will be the firm.

Foaming crew did excellent work and communicated very well. Tile R & R crew created more mess, and "implied" that they were finished (owner was out of town) when they were not. Final roofing project, however, was very satisfactory and crew managers were helpful and communicative.

Everything was great. They were here when they said they would be. Very professional. They took the time to explain the estimate.

Installation of foam roofing done very well, crew was happy to make adjustments I asked for while installing the new roof. Owner performed the estimate and had no problem with the remote location of my house. Highly recommended company. I contacted at least 4 companies and Lyons Roofing was the only one willing to perform the job.

Jim Goss was the production manager and estimator for the job (in Tucson). Once the Phoenix office got the information to him, he was quick to come to the house and give me an estimate. I was very impressed with the attention to detail and Jim's communication with me about the problems found on the roof during his inspection. He showed me pictures, but also came back another day to show me the cracks on the roof, answer my questions, and explain how the repairs would be done before I signed the proposal. I wanted to know the roof would be sealed up tight and trusted that he would do the job right after talking to him. Jim and his crew did an excellent job. They were pleasant to work with ... professional and respectful of my property. It was obvious they took pride in their work. I would definitely recommend them and will contact them in the future for my roofing maintenance.

He was customer service oriented and the amount charged was reasonable for the work done.

The work took a little longer than estimated due to the flu. But the work is complete and when Simply Solar reinstalled our solar panels they commented that the roof was done very well.

They were very responsive, arrived on time and completed the work as they said they would.

well ... I've been in my house about 20+ years: and one day during the roofing the roofing crew was staring in my study window (I was watching p***: ha ha): but I speak Spanish and they were talking about how easy it would be to grab my mini mac computer etc: and several weeks later someone broke in that same window: tossed my house: stole TV and the computer: and VERY EXPENSIVE gold watches. I gave all of that info to the police: they said that they can't help if there are not other complaints. That crew was the only people that might know my day time schedule ... the happened in the day time. I left voice mails for the roofer's: said that I would like to know the names of the crew that did my house: I never heard back. I hired a private investigator: one of my items has been found. I shared that information with the police, and left a voice mail with the roofer company: and have not heard back. : I would suggest that you stay away from this company: the info that I have learned from the private investigator will NOT get my things back that (dad's watch; granddad's ring: worth $$$) or the stupid electronics that that they stole (and left $$$$) behind: : The police are not helpful: no - they are helpful, but not able to do a lot: but I am searching for these idiots: and I will find them. Of it all: my cat was critical with cancer: their break in killed him. The roof was great but their robbery was : they were lucky I wasn't home, or they would be dead.

Professional and I would recommend any time.

They were quick and did a great cleanup.

I have dealt with Lyon Roofing before. Although they are not the cheapest their work is first class and personnel is very professional. I would definitely call them again.

Very professional operation. Knowledgeable assessment clearly in our best interest, not maximizing profit for the company. Excellent cleanup as the job progressed. Came up with novel modification to scuppers to permit free flow of rainwater, when the scuppers weren't properly installed during original construction of the house. Made heroic efforts (worked New Year's Day) to include added scope of job within the original schedule. This allowed me to meet important deadlines.
