The date kept being stated incorrectly, but after the 3rd time, it was corrected and was the date and time I had requested.The ladies were on time and got right to work. Overall, they did a good job. The kitchen sink and faucets and bottom of one shower door were overlooked, and I did not catch that in the walk through before they left. However, I would probably have them come again.

My home is 1300 s/f so perhaps they thought they didn't need to send all 3 people but they did not tell me that they were only sending 1 person for the job. She did okay cleaning the floors but that's about all that got done in the 3 hour time. I expected to have at least dusting done as well. So overall I was not impressed.

I am not sure where you read in any ad that we were sending 3 maids. Our ad has never said this, we never promise a certain number of maids prior to selling the "deal" and I checked the confirmation email that our office sent you after scheduling your service and it also never told you that we were sending 3 maids or one maid. Perhaps you saw that on another service's deal and then thought our deal said that too? We schedule the number of maids cleaning based on our schedule demands and other factors. We only sent one maid to you and she worked hard, thorough and fast to do as much work that she could in the 4 hours you purchased. Our maids always ask to do a walk through of the work if the client is present, before they leave and our office follows up the next day to find out how the job went. I am disappointed that you did not call our office back after we left you a message and express your concerns with us directly. We certainly could have addressed your concerns the very next day and spoke with the maid on exactly what work she did, but I do believe we did more than just the floors. I bought the Big Deal of 4 Hours of Housecleaning, which can be 1 lady for 4 hours, 2 ladies for 2 hours or 4 ladies for 1 hour. I had to give them all A's as there was no complaint in regards to any of it. Four of them showed up at my door and I knew they would not be able to get all the house done (2800 sq ft, alot of tile floor that must be swept then washed) in 1 hour, so we prioritized the rooms. They did have to stay longer to finish, which was understandable and I agreed to the extra charge. Everything they did was done well..

I did this quite a while ago. I don't recall any problems. I have a tendancy to overclean when I do things myself so I tend to procrastinate, hence my cabinets. It was nice not having to deal with them. They did a decent job.

They did kitchen counter instead of refrigerator. I did refrigerator right after they left and it took 52 minutes. So, they were right about it taking more time than I had hired. I am not sure why people write critical reviews when cleaning people can't get to a particular part of job if they were working hard the whole time. I was happy with what they got done and next time will plan for more time. Among the crew, I am hoping I can get the firecracker of a worker who did the bbq again.
Description of Work: I hired 6 hrs of cleaning service. Three maids came so 2 hrs work each. I normally would do 4 hrs. The extra time was booked to clean difficult large bbq. One person was assigned the bbq and they finished in 1.5 hrs and that surprised me. She worked very h a difficult job. Other service persons were always working hard. They told me when they had 25 min left and I wanted them to do refrigerator but they said would take too much time.

I purchased the Angie’s list deal, $80 for 4 hours of cleaning. They were very friendly on the phone. I told them the areas I wanted to concentrate on and they sent me an email with a document outlining what they would do. Maria called me the day before to let me know the time they would show up. They were about 15 minutes early and began working right away. There were 3 cleaners and they worked for 1 hour 20 minutes and took care of almost everything I had on my list. Another hour and they would have been able to finish it all.

Maria and John at the office were very professional and informed me of fees and were practical about what 2 maids could get done in 2 hours. I explained to John that I really needed help cleaning bathrooms and ceiling fans. The two maids Claudia and Yadhira arrived on time between 8-9 on the day of cleaning. They asked me what I wanted cleaned the most since we had 2 hours. They worked diligently to make my house spotless. I was very impressed and have already booked my next appointment. I would highly recommend this company as they are great at what they do.

Please change your review. You listed that we completed work for you and that is not true. We have never provided services to you and we never told you that we could service your area. You called to see if we serviced your area, and we told you that we didn't (it even listed this on our website), however the sales person told you he would ask if we would consider your area anyways. The "deal" that you went ahead and purchased specifically stated to make sure that you checked our service area before buying. After you bought it, we told you to get a refund as we were not driving that far out of our service area for a "$70 deal". We would not be in business if we drove an hour one way after giving our services away at half price. You should always check to make sure any deal you buy is valid for the area you live in. We do not service all of Arizona and to get an "F" rating just because you were mad about that is obsurd. That is like getting upset because a Phoenix Pizza Hut won't deliver a pizza to Sedona just because you bought some cheap pizza deal. As far as telling you that we would honor the deal for an addition fee; that is dishonest. You told us that you wanted your home cleaned two times a week and it would run around $200 per week and asked if we would consider sending a small crew out for regular work. We have occassionally sent crews outside our service area for big jobs or one-time all day jobs if it was worth our time and profitable. We stated we could probably work that out and you then asked if you could apply the $70 big deal towards the large initial cleaning. We tried working with you, but you were impossible. That is when we told you to just get your refund from Angie's List.

The 2 women arrived on time and got to work immediately. They worked extremely hard and efficiently and were very responsive. They had to work around the window cleaning company that arrived at the same time as well as my dogs and cats and were nonplussed. I had hired a friend who is starting a cleaning company just 2 or so weeks ago and was disappointed with her work which is why I hired Life Maid Easy through their excellent special on Angies List. Despite previous reviews, I had absolutely no trouble scheduling with John in the office and found him to be extremely responsive and eager to make sure I got exactly the services I wanted. He asked that I rate which things were most important as he was fairly certain the time would surpass what I bought through the special and he was correct. The team leader seemed absolutely committed that I got the most done in the least amount of time.The cleaning itself was stellar. They were very careful and didn't cut corners. Even though I didn't have them vacuum anything but the edges of rooms and behind things and they didn't mop(I have carpet cleaners and tile cleaners coming next week so requested they skip this), my house feels cleaner than it has in quite a while. Everything was put back in place, in many cases, more organized than how they were found. I will be using their services in the future and would recommend them without hesitation.

The deal specifically stated that after purchasing the deal to go on our website and submit a service request to redeem it. We checked our system and we never received any service request from you. We also checked our voicemails and did not have any messages from anyone with your name. Our after hours and over flow call center (Answering Service) also did not have a record of your call. I apologize that you were not able to reach us by phone. Perhaps you called the wrong number? When Angie's List first put this deal out, they mistakenly listed our fax number as our contact number. What a headache that was and Angie's List contacted members to give them the correct phone number. That was not any fault on our end and we had no control over that. If a web form request had been sent as the deal specified, we would have contacted you becuase that request is sent to 2 people in our company and is also a permanent record in our system that cannot be deleted. It is so disappointing to get an "F" review for something we had no control of and we didn't even do any work.

Had to book appt with man in office (name of John if memory serves)..he was incompetent, tried to worm his way out of abiding by the coupon, did not want to abide by contract terms, had to keep calling me back with questions, issues, etc..called 4 times about this ONE job..this man was not only obnoxious but also incompetent and wasted much of my time. After finally sending out the cleaning crew (at least they were on time) they were sloppy, missed a lot of work, had to be shown to go back over areas they missed, completely did not do as they were pre-requested and reminded about. Then when I was on a phone call for work, they kept interrupting me with questions from 'john' in the office. Not only was he a pain in the ss, so was this moronic cleaning crew. This was by far the worst cleaners I have ever had. I had to RE-CLEAN their sloppy mess after they left..what a time wasting, money wasting disgrace of a company!! A couple of MONTHS later I was sent a survey to which they never replied (no surprise)!

I've bought several cleaning vouchers over the last 8 months or so. With one the cleaning was superficial -- my teenagers would have done better (on pain of death, of course, but whatever gets the job done!). The other vendor never showed. Life Made Easy called me the night before to confirm the date/time. They were on time (actually a little early). There were 3 cleaners, so I was to get 1 hour, 20 minutes of cleaning under the voucher. They worked hard to give me my 4 hours worth, and even went a bit over. Unlike the other cleaners, there was a supervisor directing and instructing. (Note: she told me she was training so I don't know if it would be different for a non-training situation.) One thing I was really impressed by is that they didn't try to hide things. For example, my kitchen sink is well worn (read: stained), and doesn't get white anymore. They brought this to my attention so that I wouldn't think they hadn't cleaned it. Also, one of the cleaners scrubbed a little too h****** the bottom of a toilet seat and scrubbed off some enamel. They called me in and showed it to me. They could have just put the lid down and walked away. Very impressive. About 30 minutes prior to the end of their time, they checked in with me to see if I wanted to buy more time. Also, at the end of their cleaning, the supervisor walked me through to show me what they had done and to make sure I was satisfied. The one thing I really didn't like -- and which prepared me to not like this vendor at all -- is that they "require" a credit card to book. I think vendors/doctors, etc. are demanding credit card numbers far too often these days. Vendors glibly tell me that the number is secure, which I find ironic when the news is full of reports of data breaches at Fortune 500 companies. I guess we're supposed to believe that these small vendors are more competent with data security than companies with huge IT departments.
Description of Work: I bought an Angie's List Big Deal for 4 hours of cleaning for $70. Regular price is $35/hour, I think. (Note: I rated price based on the regular rate.) They cleaned my bathrooms (2-3/4) including floors, the kitchen, and vacuumed the upstairs.

Thank you Member for this very detailed and awesome review. I will share this with our staff and the team that serviced you. Regarding your comments on the credit card. From a consumer point of view, I understand your concerns and fears on giving out your credit card information. I got past that fear myself because I am so used to having to give it to businesses to reserve a rental car or hotel room, etc. I am pretty much giving it to nearly everyone I do business with. My fears are gone now because the CC companies protect both the consumer and the business. They will give you your money back if your card was used without your authorization/permission or from fraud. They go after the business. In fact, they take the money right out of the business' bank account if they find that a business wrongfully charged you. From a business owner point of view, we get bad checks all the time (in the past) and no real recourse. We have no way of knowing if it is a fraudulent check, if it will be an NSF, etc. Most businesses are now refusing to take checks at all. I prefer that my maids not be collecting checks and cash out in the field anyway. Too many opportunities for it to disappear or be less out of control in my office vs. hands of my employees. Not that I don't trust them, but the less money they have to deal with in the field the better. Plus, we don't make change for cash in the field. We also have a way to guarantee the appointment that a customer has blocked on our schedule. When I hold a spot on our schedule for a customer and they cancel last minute, I lose revenue and my maids lose income for the day and it keeps us from selling that time to another customer that wanted it. There are many more reasons we ask for a cc to book your cleaning, but these are the main ones. Mostly, you should keep in mind that my business has only 4 people with access to my computers. The rest of my employees do not have passwords to login, etc. They do not see your credit card number. Plus, my merchant account for AMEX, MC, Visa and Discover would be terminated if I had a high reporting of fraudulent charges on customer's cards. These "charge backs" are tracked and businesses that have a high rate of these reports get their merchant account terminated. This means...they can't accept credit cards from anyone. In fact, as a business owner, I had to "qualify" for this merchant account and they checked our credit. Bad credit...no merchant account. Its just like getting a car loan! The credit card companies don't want to be on the hook of protecting consumers when bad companies steal from customers, etc. They have to protect you, just as they protect us from bad customers. The stories you hear on the news do not tell you that all of those "victims" of credit card fraud had their money returned to them by the banking institutions. The banking institutions then go after the business. This is not to downplay the importance of being "smart" with who you give your credit card info to. Don't give it to places in other countries, like "Africa" and places with high rates of fraud. Know the business you are dealing with. A fly by night business with less history than a solid business that has been around for years would be someone I would be cautious with. You have less recourse when you write a check than you do when you use your credit/debit card. As a former police officer, I can tell you that it is harder to get your money back when YOU wrote the check to the company and then was dissatisfied. Once that check clears your bank...you are on the hook and it becomes YOUR problem to get the money back in court. However, your credit/debit card companies have a duty to investigate your case when it is a credit/debit card. I hope this helps. I really appreciate your business and your honest review. I had sent them an email on a Friday and they didn't get back to me until Tuesday. The guy that called said that I had left him a message, I had no idea who he was at first. They seemed to have good prices and there is a nice video, of the owner I assume, on their website but the guy that called me back just wasn't very friendly and seemed a little, "Put out." He told me how tiny my house was and then gave me a,"One size fits all" quote that was almost double what was on Angie's List. He never gave me the impression that he wanted my business so that was where it ended.

Your email was sent at 8:20pm on Friday night 4/27/12. Our office is closed after 5 pm M-F and we are closed in the office on the weekends. There is no one here to respond to your email request at that hour. Mondays are very hectic for us, as we are processing all the messages and emails and trying to get back to everyone. The person you spoke with was John and I am aware of your conversation with him. We have a three hour minimum, which is $110. We do not go out for less than that, whether you have a small house or just one room you want cleaned, the 3 hour/$110 minimum applies. It is not that we don't want your business, because WE DO! But, I would also like to STAY in business and I just don't make money on $50 cleanings. Its not worth the drive and opening our car doors. The Angie's List Deal that you turned down, was a HUGE DEAL! You should have taken it, because I can assure you, I do not make money on that deal. It is there for you to try our services for a very low cost, but it is only for 4 man hours. That is $80 instead of $140, which is nearly 50% off. That price does not even cover my labor, especially since part of the $80, goes to Angie's List. The quote you received is for your size home, on an initial cleaning, which is always more time than those that have regular recurring service. I apologize for my staff giving you the impression that we don't want your business, because we do. And yes, the video you saw is me, the owner. Please feel free to contact me.
