Response from Life Maid Easy
This client tried to scam us for a new stove and we will never do business with them. The condition of the home was described as "average" as it had been cleaned recently. Client elected to use her 4 man hour clean towards the master bathroom and kitchen. Our employee found that this house was not at all as the client described, in fact it was extremely dirty. The maid called our office to discuss the dirt level and try to figure out what she would be able to clean with the 4 man hours. We had her take pictures of the dirt/rooms and email them to us. After spending half the time descaling a master shower that had so much build up of soap scum and scale that you couldn't even see through the shower doors, she then tried to tackle the kitchen. The flat top stove was entirely covered in grease, grim and burnt black charred buildup. There was no way we could even clean this stove without it possibly being scratched. The maid called our office with the problem and we informed her to spray a degreaser on it and then wipe it with a cloth to see how much would come off. It didnt do anything, it was THAT BAD! She then took pictures again after wiping it and we had her stop. We then called the client and told her we could not clean her stove due to the condition of it and that we did not want to risk it being scratched trying to remove this burnt charred food off. The client said she understood, and we spent the remaining time on the rest of the kitchen. The client told the maid that she was happy with what cleaning we were able to do, but then after she left, she called our office and claimed that our maid scratched her stove. Client demanded that we come out and look at her stove and that we needed to buy them another one. We told the client that we had pictures time/date stamped of her stove before we touched it and after we wiped it and it is the same. We did not scratch it and had pictures to prove it. Client didn't believe we had taken pictures, so we offered to email them to her. We also told her that the manager was on his way over with the pictures in hand and that they needed to explain exactly how we could have scratched her stove when it is completely covered in burnt char. You couldn't see a scratch if you wanted to because it was covered up with char. When she and her husband realized we had these pictures, they responded by saying "never mind, don't come out, lucky for you, you have pictures". They tried to fraudulently claim we scratched this stove when we didn't. If anyone wants to see for themselves, I will gladly email you a picture so you can judge yourself! Sometimes businesses get scammed too! Personally, they should be embarrassed trying to post this review and we should have our attorney contact them for "slander".
