Landscape Creations of Arizona

We are beyond thrilled with the way our backyard turned out. We are from the east coast and knew very little about the desert landscaping. Rick Silkey, the president of the company, submitted a design along with several other companies. We chose Rick because of his design and his enthusiasm. He spent a lot of time with us explaining how things would be done and consulted us with the kinds of plants and trees he thought would work best. He had an excellent crew that arrived early each day and cleaned the area at the end of each day. We are extremely happy with our "new addition" and will highly recommend this company to our neighbors.

Rick was great to work with.  I really couldn't envision what I wanted, I just knew I wanted a large grassy area for my dog to play in and low-maintenance plants that would look great without me having to baby them.  He came up with a beautiful design, no cost, no obligation.  He then hashed out the details with me to get the price into my budget.  
One negative was there was an unexpected delay of nearly 2 weeks (was supposed to start 3 weeks after we came to an agreement on scope and price but started at about 5 weeks).  The communication as to the status of work starting was definitely less than great and had me nervous for a little while.  However, once the crew got started everything went very well and they finished in under 2 weeks.  The yard looks amazing and is so much better than I could have ever envisioned.  One thing to note is Rick, the owner, does not currently have a contractor's license. When I found out, it was almost a deal-breaker.  He explained the situation to me and was very flexible with the payment arrangement to make me more comfortable with the situation (they were probably 30-40% done by the time I gave him his first 25% payment--no money upfront).  He's a very nice and genuine guy so I decided to go for it--he had already put in a ton of work on the design and working with me on the details for free.  It definitely made me feel more at ease to know my money hadn't been spent before the work was done and if they had bailed I would have had no guaranteed way to get it back.
Overall I am extremely pleased with my yard and would absolutely recommend Landscape Creations of AZ!

Rick and his crew quickly removed old patios and also a decorative rock and stepping stone walkway and a concrete bench, old lawn curbing. Poured new walkway adding rebar to existing patio. They tied the new walkways into the existing work so it was beautifully designed and did not look patched at all. They cleaned up the job site beautifully. Was also very impressed with the price - was quoted twice the price by other landscapers. Rick has 30 yrs experience and will work with you, doing all of the job o doing the heavy work and recommending plants so you can 'work in the yard' yourself. I felt VERY comfortable with his crew and VERY impressed with his finished product.
