 + -1 moreThis was the third company called to repair our fridge. The first company fixed a problem but created a second by not connecting wires correctly. He then could not fix it and ordered a new "board". Needless to say, this didn't fix the problem. We never heard from him again. The second company said the problem was internal to the fridge and we needed a new built-in at $7000. Then, we called L & S. Mike was great and on time. Diagnosed and fixed the problem in 10 minutes and was then apologetic about the cost!!

 + -1 moreWe spent $150 on that repair service. My experience with them was very good. We called them on a Friday and they did not get here till Monday because they don’t work on weekends, but they were on time. What really impressed me was that they lady who took our call gave us a few tips that I could do to keep the refrigerator working til they get here on Monday. They did a really good job with that.
Description of Work: We used L&S Appliance Repair two weeks ago and they repaired our refrigerator because it was a frosting problem. .

 + -1 moreCalled for service and they verified warranty coverage. Service man arrived as promised and evaluated situation, he found there were parts needed. Parts were ordered (and about a 10 days later I did make a follow-up call -- it seems the parts/service-order had been misplaced). Service call to install parts fixed problem: Washer door latches correctly now.
Description of Work: Front-load washer, door wouldn't latch correctly. Warranty repair.

 + -1 moreThis is the type of Company you want to business small, effecient , responsive, and price competitive.
Description of Work: I called this company after a hottible expierence with GE. I was able to get a excellent response, a quote ion the repair I needed. I did not use because our washer was down and was able to get a comparable company , comparable price sooner ( by days with school coming a nd a summer washload of two weeks of vacation to do).

 + -1 moreHe was really good. He was honest and did what he had to do. He didn?t do anything that wasn?t necessary like some others do. We paid the service charge and also for some Freon. We will be calling him again.
Description of Work: We used L & S Appliance Repair to fix our refrigerator freezer. He recharged it and it is working perfectly now.

 + -1 moreI decided to take his advice and call GE to come out again. As noted above, I really appreciated his honesty and advice. After this experience I would not hesitate to call L&S again if I need a repair to my oven and/or any other appliance, e.g., range, refrigerator, washer/dryer and dishwasher.
Description of Work: I called to schedule an appointment to have my oven repaired. I explained that 6 months ago GE had installed a new part but that once again the oven was malfunctioning. I was reluctant to call GE again since I felt that their work was, to say the least, unsatisfactory. The gentleman at L&S who I spoke to said that while he would be glad to provide the service, I would be better off price-wise to call GE again. He explained that although his service charge would likely be less than theirs, if the part GEhad installed was defective, GE would replace it at no charge. I really appreciated his honesty.

 + -1 moreIf I ever had a problem with an appliance I would not hesitate to have them do the work. They have helped me twice already and it has been completely free.
Description of Work: They told me how to fix my dishwasher over the phone and they didn't charge me. Then with my freezer it was leaking on the bottom and they told me over the phone again how to fix it, and didn't charge me.
