Ky-Ko Roofing is hands down the best you could ask for. Every single person who works there is customer service oriented. From the woman who answered the phone, to Arlene in the scheduling department, they were patient and answered every question I had. The salesperson, Phil, took my calls even after the job had begun. I have a dual elevation roof (tile and flat) and I wish everyone could see the great job they did. Rocky, from the foam crew, was thorough and professional and very knowledgeable. Alvin, from the tile crew, called me before they started actually laying tile to ask me if instead of replacing the shingles where the swamp cooler used to be, I would like to do the tile over the whole space. Oscar, from the customer service crew, drove all the way back to my home in Scottsdale from Awatukee just to reset my satellite dish before the first Monday Night Football game started. If you need an honest, professional, and customer friendly company for roofing repair or replacement, do yourself a favor and call these guys. I am not the easiest person to please and they far exceeded my expectations.

As best as I can tell after two months and several heavy rainfalls, no leaks. Workers were polite and took care to not damage the paint job on the house and covered the pool to keep out debris.

I highly recommend this company. From beginning to the end, they handled everything with the utmost professionalism. They carefully explained every stop in the process. They let me know who would be out to the house and when, and exactly what they would be doing. They were always on time. They had great follow-up as well, wanting to ensure we were satisfied. (it has rained since the roof replacement and no more leaks, so definitely satisfied). Having dealt with many different companies for home improvement work, I can say that this company is a stand-out. If you need a new roof, or need a roof repair, don't hesitate to contact KY-KO.

The Ky- Ko estimator was prompt and courteous and answered all our questions. He quoted a fair and reasonable price. The crew was polite and did an excellent job. They cleaned up the area every day - as we have a dog and vehicles not wanting any nails left on the ground. Ours was a 35 year old tile roof. It looks better now than when we bought the house 13 years ago. They even went above and beyond..... I asked them if they could patch an area of wood trim that was up high near the roof. It was damaged by woodpeckers and definitely not part of the roof. They patched it and I can't tell where the damage was. We also had quite a few rain storms the week they were doing our roof. The roofers would stop, sit in their truck and continue on with the work when it stopped. Awesome... The only down side of the whole experience was that we both had that week off work.. Scheduled months in advance - so that we could be home with the dog while the roof was being put on. They were supposed to start on Monday and they started about a day and a half late. Scheduling problem. Other than that, I would definitely hire them again.

I guess they only wanted the job if they were contracted to replace the whole roof. They did install what I have and I was happy with their service so I called them when there were a few leaks. The warranty was over long ago but I needed the leaks fixed. A rep came and looked at it and 2 weeks later I still haven't heard from them. I wasted my time taking a day off work to get an estimate.

They were very responsive and came highly recommended from everything I saw. They did a great job, were on time, and when I had minor things I wanted done after they'd finished the job, they immediately came back and took care of those issues.

These guys were very professional and did excellent work. Definitely will use them again.

It has been very good. The person who first came out came out three times to answer all of our questions. They really cared to make sure we understood everything. They were very helpful in talking about the procedure before we signed the contract. They honored all of our scheduling requests. They took a little bit longer to finish than they had hoped, but that was because of the rain. They got it finished and it looks great! We are just waiting for an inspection now. I really appreciated that they had a job superintendent that came every day. I also got a warranty on the work which I thought was good.

Bottom Line: Nice enough young man that came out, just wasn't experienced enough to diagnose the real problem, come up with the proper solution, and provide an on-target quote. And the quote that was provided was 2x the price from another Angies List provider. So I went with the other provider and am very satisfied with their work (review to come). Details: Had Ky-Ko out for a quote on a damaged portion of my flat roof. The sales guy was punctual and called to let me know he was on his way. He performed an overall roof inspection after I showed him just the damaged area, which was causing a leak into the house. I let him know that the first priority was to fix the leak, then let me know what else may need done. A few days later he provided a quote for resurfacing the entire flat roof, which would have taken care of the damaged area but was much more work than I asked him to quote on. He had concluded that the damage on the roof could be related to hail, so he offered to come back out with my insurance adjuster and explain his findings and why I needed the entire flat portion of the roof resurfaced. Good to his word, Ky Ko came back out when the adjuster was here. However, the adjuster (as they are want to do) denied the claim saying that there was no evidence of hail damage. After hearing both sides of the story (Ky Ko and the insurance adjusters) I tended to agree with (gasp) the insurance company. I don't think there was any nefarious intent on Ky-Ko's side, they just mis-diagnosed the cause of the problem. Based on this and the expensive quote, I went with another provider.

They sent Kyler out on a Thursday. He promised a proposal by Saturday. Following Tuesday I emailed Kyler and asked where the proposal was. I got back a reply about miss addressing the proposal and needing to return on Thursday to remeasure. Today is now Tuesday and no proposal and no message. I emailed and cancelled the request for a proposal

The two crews - one to replace the damaged spanish tile and the other for foam application were timely and professional. The clean up was perfect.

KY KO showed up on time and were very professional. Te salesman explained what they would do and provided the estimate. The estimate was $3K higher than the next highest bid I received. I didn't select KY KO as the vendor but feel that they could have done a good job.

I called for estimate for roof repairs after home inspector's report. I thought an appointment was scheduled for 2 weeks later (their first available) I called to confirm the Friday before the Monday appt. Office 'forgot' to schedule estimator for that day but re arranged his schedule. He was early, seemed to know roofs and advised he would email report. I waited a few days, called office and nothing... Called again-they advised only estimator has information, it is not shared with office?? They gave me his cell #, left message, no call back..... This went on for about 2 weeks, I hired someone else but was curious about the lack of customer service. Called again--Mark finally called me back and advised that he didn't reember estimating my roof. I provided details and he said notes must be in his truck and he would call back when he 'found' them. He advised they were scheduling 8 weeks out. I questioned what to do about big leak in bedroom ceiling. He advised tme to take a screwdriver and poke it and put a bucket under to catch the rain!!!!! Did call back, emailed estimate after a 2nd call about it. Estimate did not make sense--lower price on new tile than replacing existing tiles?? Would NEVER hire this company.

VERY PROFESSIONAL. EXCELLENT WORK FORCE WITH CONSTANT SUPERVISION. WERE VERY CAREFUL OF TREES AND OTHER PLANTS. WORK WAS COMPLETED PER THE CONTRACT. NO PROBLEMS. PRICE WAS FAIR AND JOB COMPLETED IN A TIMELY MANNER. WE ARE VERY PLEASED WITH THE JOB/

Ky-Ko provided a quote of over $2000 to replace the entire roof section over the garage to fix the leak. I chose another company which was able to make the repair by removing a small section and replacing the paper and tiles for $385. The roof has remained leak free since. The person who met with us to provide the estimate used pressure to have us sign a contract for the work at the time the estimate was provided. Due to the high cost of the project, we wanted to shop around and are glad we did!

I would not recommend them. The workers from Ky-Ko Roofing arrived without a supervisor and didn't know what to do. They were in a big rush to finish. I wasn't pleased with their service. They were not very responsive and I wouldn't use them again. The quality of the work done was low. Warranty service was given grudgingly.

It went well. They were done quickly and cleaned up their mess. Because it was so expensive, we need to do the roof in sections. For the next section I got additional estimates and hired a different company.

The roofing job went well. They finished the job in a timely manner. Addressed one issue we had and resolved it. It was a very large roof.

Did not take the advice. Not many consumers would pay for an entire new roof when there is a clear problem in one area.

I called about a problem and they responded quickly. The salesman was very professional.

Repair was made but, workers didn't show up until late afternoon, and only after I called to check if they were coming. Poor excuse given but I was assured at 11 they were on their way. At 1, they arrived, and wanted to "get a sample tile and come back tomorrow". Amazing since we had already waited a month because they had to order the tile! They left, came back an hour later (because I insisted they NOT come back tomorrow but rather come back TODAY), worked for an hour, then the supervisor arrived and informed me the worker's saw blade had broke and they'd have to come back and finish "first thing" the next day. First thing was 8 AM, they worked another hour, and were gone. Found a dozen or so nails left on the ground, but otherwise, they did clean up. Amazingly, their estimate was exactly what the repair cost, even though they used some of my tiles. I was told a supervisor would come and check the work...if he came, I didn't see him and I work at home. Bill arrived promptly though!

The estimator did not initially show up, allegedly due to a minor fender bender (no injuries). He didn't reschedule. I tried to be understanding and called the company again. They didn't know of the accident; when they spoke with the estimator, he said he rescheduled with my husband. This was not true. The next day he called and said he could be there in an hour- I said I was told he had scheduled another appointment with my husband. He said they must have confused me with another customer. I took his word and canceled my afternoon plans. He did not show up on time and did not call to say he would be late. A few hours later he called to say he would be there in a few minutes. When we got the estimate, it came in higher than all the others. He also said our roof was in such bad shape that it might leak any day (other companies said we didn't even need a new roof- we were upgrading to sell the house). They offered a $900 "discount" if we booked that day. It just felt shady.

Prompt, good work. Has held up beyond 9 yr. re-coating estimate. Does yearly inspections for free. Did repairs (due to our having to cut into roof) at reasonable cost. Cost may have been slightly on the high side, but has been worth the cost. There are so many shoddy roofers in AZ that lowest cost is probably a big mistake. We are very discriminating and carefully examine work done.

When the estimate was given, the individual said it would take 2-3 days to do the job and gave me the price quote of $4410. When the job was actually finished, it took only one day to complete. The $4410 seemed reasonable for 2-3 days and seems extremely high for only 1 day. I feel like I got taken on the price. The quality of the job seems fine.
