Response from KOWALSKI CONSTRUCTION INC
(Copy of email sent on 11/12/12 HTML Attachments were not able to be included in this form) Dear Member, I received notice from our account salesperson from Angie’s list that we had a unfavorable report on our company, Kowalski Construction, Inc. Please see below The Angie’s List representative was not able to inform us of the method you used in your attempt to contact us. I reviewed our computer system, our back up system & spoke to the 4 people who receive new customer requests and was none of which provided any information of the contact. The representative told me that he would request a reconfirmation from you to verify that there wasn’t a mistake in the posting of the above report. I then reached out to every person in our company to see if by chance you may have called in to a company cell phone line but again, nobody had any information on your request. Since then I have followed up twice with Angie’s list and my assistant, Rebecca Loy did once as well. It was only today, during my follow up with Angie’s list that Dan informed me that your inquiry was via their website. Their records show that this was sent directly to my email address. I was quite surprised by this and searched my Deleted and Archived Deleted folders for any and all correspondence from Angie’s List but did not find it. Please see below the list of my Angie’s List Correspondence. You will notice that your email was not found in my Deleted folder. Search criteria is “Angieslist.com”. I then surmised that perhaps your message to me had been caught in my Spam Filter. At that time, we utilized a company called SpamSoap to filter incoming messages. Rebecca contacted them today to see if they could determine if the email was caught in their filter. They no longer have any information on our account since we recently change to another service. I then searched my daily spam reports from SpamSoap beginning the day BEFORE you sent your email & ending 2 days AFTER in order to see if it showed up in any of the reports, however as you can see by the reports below, it did not. Spam Quarantine Report for 8/20 & 8/21 Spam Quarantine Report for 8/21 & 8/22 Spam Quarantine Report for 8/22 & 8/23 I apologize for the lengthy email, however I wanted to provide you with enough detail for you to understand that we didn’t intentionally not respond to your inquiry. At this point, even after my investigation, I can offer no explanation as to what happened to your email to me. I do feel it is important however to respond to you and to inform you of our efforts. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you but hope that our efforts meet with your approval. Should the need arise, we would hope that you wouldn’t hesitate to contact us and we would look forward to the opportunity to demonstrate why our company has been in business for over 45 years. Should you desire any additional information, please feel free to contact me directly. Cc : **** – Angie’s List : Rebecca L. – Kowalski Construction, Inc. Sincerely, Jim James R.
