Chip from Klear Water said the gears and flaps in the system's distribution system were repaired. After the repair, there was a waiting time of 24 hours before the system was activated to allow for his glue job to harden. After the system was activated, it became apparent that the pool was no better off than before. Even with paying for his weekly pool cleaning service and the additional $450.00 for the failed repair, dirt remains on the pool floor. #1) Chip never voluntarily recognized his work's failure to plan to resolve the issue. #2) Attempts to contact Chip via email and phone have not been successful. I firmly believe that Chip has aborted this home's service knowing that he would have to make good for his failed repair work. If I could contact him, I would insist he fix the pools cleaning system or he would be FIRED. I'm not counting on him doing this so, he'll figure out he's FIRED when the monthly check stops.
Description of Work: I am managing my dad's estate since he is elderly. This pool service, owned by "Chip" had been employed by my dad for the last 5 years. The company's responsibility was to maintain the water chemistry, weekly brushing, vacuum, and backwash on weekly visits. This service was for $100.00 per month. When this summer began, I became involved with the estate maintenance. The pool was at that time not being serviced since the bill, dropped off on the back patio, was no longer being received due to my dad's declining health. No further attempt to deliver the bill to my dad was made. I also noticed that the in ground jets were not function correctly, with large sections of dirt remaining on the pool's floor. The weekly pool service was re-initiated and Klear Water was hired to diagnose and repair the in ground cleaning system. The quoted cost of the repair was approximately $450.00.
