Fantastic !!! Excellent workmanship, finished on time and on budget. Friendly and very professional. Always cleaned up. Kirk Dev had great ideas and moneysaving suggestions. They went above and beyond my expectations. Definitely would recommend them.

The end result was amazing - high ceilings, built-in BBQ, stained concrete and solid brick columns. Total patio is about 40 x 20, with beautiful wood trusses that were built and stained offsite. We picked industrial hardware, including steel rimmed lights. We also added a misting fan and a regular ceiling fan to keep the temperature down. Separately we had a plumber install commercial misters as well. Now we have a full patio furniture set where we relax, and a table for outdoor meals that our kids love. Great place to entertain and relax.

This year my wife and I decided we could not wait any longer to completely remodel our kitchen and guest bathroom. A few years ago, we contracted Kirk Development to demolition a carport and backyard shed in a home we were selling for my wife’s mother. Although a demo is not a remodel, Nathan Mess, Kirk’s Designer/Estimator, impressed us so much it was a no brainer to call him to come look at what we needed for the remodel at our residence. We explained what we thought wanted to do during Nathan’s initial visit to our mid-century home with the same era kitchen and guest bathroom. Nathan listened attentively during my long monologue. As we walked the two areas, Nathan asked us many questions focusing upon what we did not like about the current mid-sixties kitchen and guest bathroom. We then sat at the dining room table, which is when Nathan started to offer his advice, share his experience and expertise. He offered us many options that we did not come close to considering or imagining. We went round table multiple times with different ways to approach the remodel project. He also offered advice where we could spend a little more money to get a better result and surprisingly offered suggestions that would save us money on the project. In the end, we ended up with a much better plan and hit the go button. Nathan made an appointment to come to our home a few weeks before the project was to begin and brought Curt Armstrong, their Production Manager, and John Hughes, their Field Superintendent to go over the project end to end to make sure we were all on the same page. During this second visit, Nathan, Curt, and John gave us a sense of confidence and comfort that the project would be completed exactly as we wanted. They also assured us it would not be an issue should we decide to change anything at any stage of the project. The project begins. The project Superintendent, John was onsite with the beginning of the demolition of the old kitchen and bath. Although we stayed in our home during the whole project, we were impressed with how well John and his crew kept the dust and dirt contained during the demo which was one of our big concerns. The demolition went quickly and smoothly. Next phase began with John Hughes and his team building our dream kitchen and guest bathroom. Throughout the whole process, John was not only the Field Superintendent but also to my surprise, a fine artisan. When I was younger, I used to build residential homes. I worked with a small company that was owned and run by a cabinetmaker who chose to build his houses with the anal retentiveness as the cabinets he built. I saw these same perfectionist attitudes in John. Not only does he set high expectations for the work he does but also everyone on his team that came into our home to build our dream. During the remodel process, were there glitches and changes? I do not believe there is any project that has this magnitude of work that would proceed from start to beginning without either items happening. To our relief however, these were all taken care of easily and quickly with the full support of Nathan and John from the beginning to the end of the project. I cannot express how happy and relieved from stress my wife and I were to have the caliber of this team at our home building our dream. How did it turn out? The only words I can come up with is grateful. The Kirk Development Team went well beyond my wife’s and my expectations. They kept us updated throughout the whole process. Even with the glitches that would be expected and changes we made after the start of the project, Kirk Development came through with gold stars. The vision of our dream became a reality. All of the things that we did not like with the original mid-sixties kitchen and bath had disappeared. Additionally, with the expert advice of Nathan and John, we ended up with much more than we imagined. I will let the pictures tell the rest of the story. If you are considering a remodel project in your home, I would feel remiss if you did not contact Kirk Development Company to give them a chance to allow them to build your dream too. The remodel is fantastic! I have received many compliments and with all of the built in safety features (non-slip tile, shower bench, railings, etc.) it has made things easier.

Extremely smoothly. Kirk Development provided not only their own excellent crew, but chose expert sub-contractors for some work, and oversaw the results so that everything was done perfectly and they made sure that I was satisfied. This responsiveness and care took the hassle out of juggling projects with a lot of different people, as overall there was a lot of work carried out over a period of nearly 5 months - and all at what I consider reasonable cost. Tom, Barry and John all deserve praise for making what could have turned into a nightmare into almost fun, and I get a lot of compliments on the work.

I had a couple of quotes but they were super high so we didn't use them. The worst thing was price. They actually never gave me a written quote but I think they knew that I was not going to do the job. They called me and said they wanted to talk to me more. They were responsive in returning my calls. They came out and got the information for a quote but they didn't actually give me a written quote. It was more of a verbal kind of thing.

My wife and I wanted to update our 80’s Guest Bathroom. We have used Kirk Development in the past and were happy so we called them again. Nate and Devin came out to see us and they had some great ideas. They removed the tub and put in a larger shower. The custom tile is awesome. Everyone who looks at it remarks about how the tile work came out so nice. They also put in a new vanity and lighting. The mirrors and shower glass were custom made and all together make this Guest Bathroom a showpiece. We have heard about remodeling nightmares but we have not experienced that with Kirk. The project manager kept track of everything and kept the project moving along on time. The job was kept clean and everyone was pleasant and professional to work with. We couldn’t be more pleased. We will be calling Kirk for our Master Bathroom when we are ready. Thanks guys!!! M & K.

Our Project Manager, Don Hannah, did an excellent job coordinating all aspects of our project. Don coordinated and communicated with various subcontractors and vendors, always keeping us informed. Don's quality control ensured that the finished project exceeded our expectations.

I called and was told by receptionist someone would call by days end, no call. A person contcted me the next day and he said to me that I was too far out of his range to do work? I guess my $$$ is no good.

Very well. Devin was the designer and was very helpful. The superintendent was Michael and he did a great job. He kept me informed throughout the whole process. Michael made suggestions and helped me understand everything. I would recommend Kirk Development to anyone with a remodeling project.

We were very satisfied with the services provided by Kirk Development Co. This went as smoothly as a renovation service can go -- from the first meeting with Tom Sertich to discuss our goals and budget for the renovation to the execution, led by project manager Michael Lentine, who was excellent. We had several revisions to the project along the way and Michael and Tom were always very accommodating and responsive. The electrician, plumber and tile crews that worked at our house were not only competent, but also trustworthy; they were left alone at the house while my husband and I were at work and we never had any issues. We still have some work to do at the house and look forward to hiring them again.

They were very professional and helpful. We have met with them three times and we have gotten a couple bids on a remodel for our bathroom. They listened carefully. They weren't rushed. They want to do a thorough and good job so I like that. The only unfortunate thing is their prices seem a little high. That's probably why you're getting this nice, good service. maybe they are a little more selective on their projects too and how they want to run their business. For somebody who doesn't mind about price, they probably would be great.

The entire project came off without a hitch. The work was done on time and according to the budget. The workmen were professional and cleaned up after themselves every day. I live in an historic high-rise apartment building, and the workmen were all respectful of the buildings rules and requirements. The superintendent for this job, Michael Lentine, was very informative and easy to work with. He help me with some of the more difficult decisions. There were no "surprises." I highly recommend current development for any similar work and intend to use them myself for future projects.

They did the work they agreed to do, professionally and in a timely manner. Nate Mess had good design suggestions; Michael Lentine and Jim Graham did a great job as supervisors. They came when they said they would, both to do the work and to progress meetings, and returned messages promptly. After each day, they left the job site clean and neat. On the few occasions that they misunderstood what we wanted, they courteously and expeditiously made requested changes. They completed the items on the punch list in short order. Our experience was very positive.

I contracted with Kirk Development Co. to do a kitchen remodel which included removing an interior wall, moving and expanding an existing island, new counter tops, new flooring, new cabinetry, new appliances, and new paint throughout. I am very pleased with the finished product and want to express my thanks to Gary Tomich, Michael Lentine, and Julie Sterich. Gary Tomich spent many hours with me in design and material choices. He offered useful ideas that have resulted in a kitchen that is a joy to cook in. Not only is it aesthetically pleasing, Gary's design incorporated many ergonomic features. He also provided excellent coaching in material choices and which vendors would offer the best values. As Field Superintendent, Michael Lentine's execution of the work was excellent. He was proactive in scheduling all of the various work phases. His attention to detail and follow-up with each sub-contracting group was top notch. He was responsive, patient, and knowledgeable in all aspects of the remodel. Julie Sterich was a joy to work with. She provided excellent customer service and was always friendly and helpful whenever I had questions. I will use Kirk Development again and will recommend them to my family and friends. Very good experience. Extremely professional. Everyone else was at work. I was here and my housekeeper was here. I had a cat in the house. They were extremely respectful of that. That's a big deal. I would use them again, and again, and again.

Weekly meetings with Project Superintendent. Weekly planner / communication board on site and completed by Project Superintendent and homeowners. Always available by text / email with prompt response by Sales Manager and Project Superintendent. Complete paperwork for change orders presented for each change. Prompt review of any questions by business office - Julie S. 2 site visits by Project Manager over course of job. Multiple site visits / meetings with Sales Manager - Gary Tomich. All permits / paperwork and blueprint of job available on site at all times. All contractors / services - masonry, roofing, plumbing... very good, arrived when scheduled. The cleanest job site the house has ever had with any upgrade / project. Commitment to quality and customer satisfaction by All and especially Michael Lentine, Project Superintendent. HE completely managed all jobs. Contractors, scheduling and gave recommendations for beyond contract services - flooring, drain work.

I highly recommend Kirk Development Company, during my bathroom remodel the Supervisor, Michael Lentine, was very professional and always kept me informed on the progress of the job via white board/texts and kept the project on track. He also made frequent inspections to insure the quality of the work being done and paid attention to every detail and kept the job site clean and organized. He was very receptive to my questions and concerns regarding the project. For example, he took the time to position the grab bars so they would be easily accessible and made suggestions to improve the utility/functionality of the bathroom. For example, replacing old shower parts, relocating the shower drain, and repositioning the light fixture. He also came out on the weekend when I reported a problem!

Our experience with Kirk Development Company was spectacular from start to finish. Our experience began with an introduction to Devin Kempster, a construction design architect and project management professional. Devin met with us in our home to go over the scope of the project which has been described above. She took careful notes and offered suggestions, and asked for a few days to work up an estimate. When the quote arrived, it was almost $2,000 UNDER the budget we gave her! In our second meeting, we signed the contract and made plans to visit a cabinet contractor with which Kirk does business. Devin was a great help in making suggestions on materials, and went the extra mile to help us identify color combinations and cabinet features. We selected a couple of upgrades that pushed the overall price of our project up slightly, but it was at our request. In our third meeting, Devin introduced us to her colleague John Hughes who was to be our Project Superintendent. Right away, John identified a few construction concerns and made some suggestions that proved to be spot on. We had confidence that John would run the process smoothly, and that proved to be correct. EACH and EVERY contractor that came in the four weeks that followed was courteous, respectful of our space, and highly competent. It's clear that Kirk Development works with experienced pros who made sure the work was done to code and with an eye for aesthetics. Further, John did an excellent job of keeping us appraised of who would be coming and when and everything went off without a hitch. We are so pleased with the finished product which by the way came in on-time and under budget! Further, Devin and John were a pleasure to work with and take pride in their craft. Kirk's reputation is well deserved and we will be using them for all of our remodel projects going forward. Highest recommendation.

It went according to plan. They were able to begin almost immediately and kept us constantly updated with each phase. Devin and Michael were extremely professional and were always available when we called with questions. This remodel was done over the Christmas holiday, by choice, and Kirk Development made sure that our household had as few disruptions as possible. We were quite pleased with every subcontractor we dealt with.
