Description of Work: I had Kirk Development bid a Casita project for my home. They were very responsive and detailed. They unfortunately did not have the lowest quality bid so I went with a different contractor.

Description of Work: Basically he told me he was too booked up and couldn't help me.

Description of Work: Representatives from Kirk came to our house to discuss a kitchen remodel. They were one of three contractors we were meeting with before deciding to move forward. Of the three, Kirk Development spent by far the least amount of time with us (approx. 20 minutes), immediately tried to upsell us on custom-made or semi-custom cabinets, took only a few measurements, and came back with a quote that was almost double the quotes from other highly reputable contractors. We were shocked at the estimates provided by Kirk, especially after comparing the meeting with the other contractors, who met with us for between one and two hours, took numerous measurements to create digital floorplans, and provide design assistance/consultation. It seemed as though the representatives from Kirk made the determination that either (a) we were ignorant customers that would not consult other contractors and blindly accept their high estimates, or (b) they did not want our project (perhaps it was not big enough for them) and tried to push us away. We will not go back to them in the future.

Description of Work: Kirk Development was very responsive and returned my call nearly immediately. They provided a quote with a fair price and agreed to meet my timeframe. I ended up choosing another Angie's List contractor but not because of any deficiency in this contractor and I would use them in a heartbeat and or recommend them to my friends & family!

Description of Work: We purchased a Big Deal coupon from Angie's List for Kirk Development to do design assistance for a kitchen remodel. It was vague what the exact service would be but we expected to have a one or two hour meeting and then get some general cost ideas and some recommendations on whatever they thought or could advise to get us further along. We had a one hour meeting discussion with Barry who looked around and took notes and talked about possibilities. He seemed very knowledgeable and provided some facts which were helpful. He was going to get back to us with something about our project but was not clear what. Several weeks later we got an email from him asking a few more specific questions. We emailed back with detailed answers. We expected to hear back from him but never did. We probably got our $59 worth, but we expected some kind of product (maybe a simple sketch or some basic cost options or even a short conversation or email about options) and would have appreciated a reasonable followup. |***Note to Angie's List: I sent this to you in December of 2013 with your regular form.

Description of Work: 10/24 was our last contact with Tom at Kirk Dev.; we have used them several times over the past 6 or 7 years for various items in the kitchen, laundry room and bathrooms. Our dealings with them have generally been of short duration with amounts in the hundreds, not thousands; but, no matter what we have contracted for them to do, we have always been totally satisfied with every aspect of our dealings.

Description of Work: Called for an estimate for door repair. Told they don't come out this far (North Phoenix). Change your service area to something more appropriate then.

Description of Work: I purchased a discount coupon for an design consultation and estimate to redo my kitchen. I was very pleased with the professionalism and creativity. He had some great suggestions and was very open and listened to my needs and even made suggestions that addressed unexpressed needs that I had. His computer rendering gave me a great visual of the design and his attention to detail was great.

Description of Work: I used them for some design and remodeling work. They did excellent work for me. I am in the process of hiring them for another project.
