Stay clear of this company , Tony came out to give us a run down of the products and was very pleasant to work with , he provided us with a quote that same night and honestly worked extremely hard for us , once the windows were installed it seemed that the quality of work was not near acceptable, some windows look like they were way too small and should have never been installed ( mis-measured) they filled the gap‘s a half inch to three-quarter inch with caulking, one of the windows has not even been completed .I called and was polite and brought up my concerns they stated that they would get right back to me , the next day they called me and told me that they would stop by my house next time that they’re in “ the area”to take a look no date given . The following day they call me and ask for the remaining balance and I asked them when will somebody be coming to take a look at the work that is in question and I was told next time somebody is in “your area” they would stop by, this company is quick to make an appointment when you were looking for a quote but when it comes to issues with their install you do not matter to them and they make it clear , I hate to leave a comment like this but if I could help someone that is in the market for new windows do yourself a favor and look elsewhere . Someone should call the ROC, reading some of these reviews now show similar issues

An outstanding company with very skilled and professional installers, all at a very fair and competitive price. The salesman Tony was great to work with, and the installers did a fantastic job. We chose Ply Gem vinyl windows and sliding doors - great quality at a good price. The work involved more than just routine replacements. We had ugly aluminum bay windows across the front of the house. They cut those out entirely which was a big job in itself, then replaced with beautiful double pane windows. In the master bedroom, the ugly aluminum single pane window was removed and the back of the house cut to fit a sliding patio door. Again, a really great job with excellent workmanship. It completely changed the whole ambience of the master bedroom! Clean-up after the work was done was amazing you wouldn't even know they were there! We highly recommend K & J Windows!

Great. They installed our doors on the expected dates, cleaned up after themselves, fixed one minor error during installation, and left us with new windows. It's now June, with highs over 105 F., and we're comfortable inside.

I called K & J Windows, and they sent Cody to our home. He was punctual, explained everything very well, and answered all of my questions. I received a quote in a very short time. Once I signed the contract (for Simonton Windows), everything proceeded smoothly. Another person came to measure the windows. The crew that did the work was also very punctual and exceedingly clean about the manner in which they removed/hauled away the olds windows and perfectly installed the new windows. Thank you Richard and crew. This component (installation) should not be overlooked by a consumer of windows. It is the key to having new windows placed in your home, and K&J chooses the right people with the right knowledge. Bottom line: I could not be more pleased with K&J; everybody and everything was and is exquisite. Bravo!!!

Darin (owner) came out as we were ready to move ahead with window replacements. He reassessed the situation and gave helpful information for our roofer related to window leaks. He advised that we have roofer re-evaluate the situation before moving forward on the windows to ensure a positive outcome. I really appreciated Darin's honesty and ethical business approach so that we can resolve issues in the best way. Once roof issues are resolved, without a doubt we'll be using K&J Windows.

They were very good. They were very professional and they offered all the known brands I was interested in so I didn't feel like they were trying to push a particular brand or model on me. I felt able to pick what I wanted. I felt the pricing was reasonable too. I plan to hire them again to replace all of the windows in our home.

K & J replaced 9 windows in my 1972 home with new double-pane, low e, argon filled Simonton windows. Darin was very helpful and friendly in giving me the quote and answering questions. He was right in the middle on cost. Installation was quick and easy. Cleanup was done well.

If your looking for a quality window supplier at a fair price and complete satisfaction, you need to consider this business. No pressure. Cody (General Manager) was very friendly and considerably knowledgeable in explaining the quality and features of their product line. Chris the Lead Installer did a pre-measurement at the site for the windows being replaced. The final installed cost was very reasonable knowing this business had its own installers, and we would be dealing directly with them on any installation or manufacturer warranty issues. At the time of installation, the installers arrived on time and completed their work in a timely manner cleaning up after themselves. We had a final walk-thru and everything was installed to our complete satisfaction. We have more windows that need future replacement, and will definitely use this business at that time.

The owner, Darin, came out and was here for two hours. He was super helpful in pointing out some issues with our windows. He provided us with a proposal that was super detailed with pictures of the windows. He also took the time to write a letter to us detailing the status of our existing windows and the problems that exist. He went way above and beyond what the other window contractors gave me. So far I'm very pleased with him!

Can't say enough things about working with K&J Windows! From the first interaction with Darin the owner who came to my house to give me a proposal and show me the options available for replacing my windows, to any dealings with their staff it was a excellent experience. Angela in their office is super friendly and very responsive. Cody who put together my proposal was great to work with. Chris their installation foreman was prompt, professional and easy to communicate with. K&J did an amazing job replacing my windows, in fact you can barely tell they were there at all. I love my new Simonton windows and am very happy that I chose K&J Windows. You won't go wrong by using this top notch company who does quality work at a reasonable price.

I probably over-researched this project from the outset, but am sure glad I did. I got bids from a long series of vendors, including several recommended on Angie's List, plus Costco and Home Depot and Home Depot Direct. Finally settled on K&J for these reasons: Number 1: Owner Darin Garcia was the only one who was fully honest with me about ALL aspects of the project, including the issue of federally mandated lead abatement. Some other vendors sidestepped that issue, and one even tried to get me to illegally sign a statement saying I knew the house was lead-free (I most certainly do not) so that he could ignore the federal requirements. Darin's salesman explained the matter clearly and stated that his company would not skirt the law. I looked up the law and learned who was telling the truth (Darin) and who was not (amazing!!!). Number 2: Darin provided a better product than any of the other vendors offered for a better price. He installed three Simonton sliding doors and a Simonton window, underpricing my other favorite by almost $2,000. Okay, my "other favorite" was NOT Home Depot...but Darin gave me a straight story (unlike some others), did not attempt to high-pressure me, and offered a very high-quality product for the price. The doors and window arrived within a week after his office ordered them. The K & J crew showed up bright and early on a Tuesday morning, right on time. They were pleasant to have around, they worked efficiently, coped gracefully with the complications of replacing a door installed by a prior Happy Handyman Homeowner, cleaned up the mess, and left three handsome units that look great and work with no problems. Because of the reasonable price, I was able to replace a window that has needed upgrading for a very long time; had I gone with "other favorite," I couldn't have afforded the window. This project was occasioned by a home invasion that led to a police SWAT team escorting me out of my house behind a phalanx of bullet-proof shields. I feel much more secure with the doors and window K & J installed, which, though no more burglar-proof than any glass installation, will at least make the burglar work for his pay and force an intruder to make enough noise to let me get out another door before he can get into the house. Though it was an expensive project, I feel I got a fair price for a good product and top-flight service.

Put order in, got status updates, install occurred on time. One dual pane had a manufacturing defect between glass. It was a big window and a small defect. Replaced the entire window a week later, no cost. Next the upstairs windows.

They actually made sure that I was getting the window that was right for me and not just the most expensive. Everything went exactly on schedule from the estimating appointment, to the ordering time frame to the installation. A few months after the installation, there was a minor issue with some trim that was put on during the installation. K & J Windows sent someone out to make the repair at a time that worked for both of us and resolved the issue to my satisfaction. I recommend them to everyone I know who is looking for windows.

I must say that we were absolutely impressed with the overall professionalism of K & J right from the start. We didn't really know what types of windows we wanted for this home, but the staff at K & J was extremely knowledgeable about all their windows and we could tell right away that they had our best interests in mind. We received bids from four different window companies for installation and windows, and K & J was 20-42% less. I've had to deal with installers and window suppliers that are full of crap, that's just the nature of the beast I guess. It's refreshing to deal with a company that wants to build a relationship for the long haul without taking us for a quick buck and doing shotty work. I really enjoyed the fact that K & J was always accessible during the entire process. For example, if I had a question or concern, they were always there to take my call. I would definitely recommend K&J for any size job, big or small.

They made a huge mess in my house and when they installed the windows, they damaged the window frames and didn t repair them. The guys who installed the windows were just college kids and they didn t know what they were doing. The windows and installation were charged separately. It was 3000 for the windows and 750 for the labor, respectively.
