Just In Time Air Conditioning and Refrigeration

Air Conditioner started blowing hot air early Saturday morning. I had just received an Angies List Directory of local vendors. I remdonly chose Just In Time. Called at 10am. Was told that a technician could come out at 3pm. I Agreed. 10 minutes later Ithe company called be back and said they had a technician in my area and could be at my house in 30 minutes. I agreed. The technician arrived, Went onto my roof to inspect my A/C unit. After assessment the Technician informed that the A/C had been over-charged with freon and would need to be bled-out (emptied) and refilled at a cost of $150.00. I agreed. After a couple of up/down and in/out trips around my house, the technician said he had been wrong and that my problem was a broken thermostat. He could replace it for $345.00. When I told him I thought the repair cost was high the technician gave me an explanation that resembled nonsense. I agreed to the quote and the thermostat was replaced. Afterwards I priced the thermostat at Home Depot for $40.00. The entire service call lasted under one hour. I paid $300.00 for one hour of labor.
