 + -1 moreJOHN MAKES TIME TO BE AVAILABLE WHEN NEEDED, ARRIVES ON TIME, IS POLITE AND FUN TO TALK TO, AND GIVES HIS UNDIVIDED ATTENTION TO EACH INDIVIDUAL PIANO. HE IS DEDICATED TO AND PASSIONATE ABOUT HIS WORK. I'M VERY GLAD TO HAVE FOUND HIM AND RECOMMEND HIM WITHOUT RESERVATION.
Description of Work: JOHN HAS TUNED MY 2 PIANOS SEVERAL TIMES NOW. I OWN A YAMAHA STUDIO UPRIGHT AND A CHICKERING BABY GRAND. THE CHICKERING WAS A SECOND-HAND PURCHASE, AND I DIDN'T ENJOY PLAYING IT UNTIL JOHN HAD VOICED AND ADJUSTED IT -- IT'S NOW A PLEASURE TO PLAY AND TO LISTEN TO. I HAVE BEEN MORE SATISFIED WITH HIS SERVICE THAN WITH ANY OTHER TECHNICIAN I'VE USED IN THE PAST 30 YEARS. HE IS ABLE TO NOT ONLY TUNE (BY EAR, NOT BY MACHINE) IMPECCABLY, BUT TO ADJUST THE TONE, RESONANCE, TOUCH AND RESPONSE. HE'S COMPULSIVE, A WONDERFUL AND NECESSARY TRAIT IN HIS PROFESSION!
