Joe Powell Handyman

Joe has replaced fixtures on my old dry, wooden cupboards. I hired a company to put in sliding shelves. However, that company representative was not knowledgeable about anything other than putting in the drawers. Before the drawers were installed, Joe explained to me how to have the drawers installed at the proper heights for what I wanted. Joe provided the knowledge that I needed to explain to the drawer rep what that rep did not understand. Joe also fixed the outside of the cupboard doors to cover the space where the middle separating board was removed to allow larger pull-out drawers. I called Joe when I wanted attic stairs installed. Joe was unable to do it in the time-line I needed so Joe referred me to another source. I recommend Joe for all your carpentry needs.

Initially my neighbor recommended Joe Powell as he had completed work for her. I have used Joe's expertise on several projects at this time. Joe gives an estimate of what the work will entail and delivers promptly. I am always very pleased with the work and the cost of each project.

My 32" wood door from the outside into the garage was literally falling apart. I had three other people come look at the door and give me prices to replace the door. The location of the door and the concrete slab the previous owners had laid next to the garage causes a lot of problems. Probably because of this, all of the other quoted prices were significantly higher than the quote that Joe provided me. Joe did a great job replacing the door. He is pleasant and competent. He has completed multiple other "handyman" jobs around my house. I am very pleased that I have finally found someone to call when those numerous "older home" problems occur.
