Jim returned our phone call promptly. He arrived to go to work exactly when he said he would. He told us up front that he would bill us for his time and materials and that he did not want to give us an estimate because most home owners always added things to the original list and estimate and then were unhappy when he took longer than he estimated. We agreed to that and found that he worked fast and efficiently and was prepared with everything he needed. We found him to be pleasant, a good fast worker, and felt the price we paid for the jobs he did was a fair price.

Perfect. He was helpful, did a GREAT JOB and I would hire him again in a minute!

Jim was quick to respond to my call, coming out the same afternoon. He mostly did what he was supposed to do and the welding job was great. He didn't do anything above and beyond, though. He spray painted the metal frame after he attached the wood to the metal so that the spray paint went over the wood. He forgot to buy a self-closing latch that I had asked for. The price seemed a bit high compared to what I expected but was probably not out of line with the job. All-in-all the job was okay, I don't really know if I would call him again.

Jim worked fast and efficiently. Completed all projects but one, admitted he did not have the expertise to repair the type of hard wood flooring that I had. Very honest. I am very pleased with all his work and would use him again. Cleaned up after all projects. Between initial call and start of work was just around a week and 1/2, which exceeded my expectations, based on other handyman services I have contacted in the past.

Jim was punctual, knowledgeable, neat and tried his best to repair two of the faucets; parts are no longer available.

Jim was not able to do the repairs on my home due to the scope of the project. I was very impressed with his honesty and professionalism. I will contact him for other smaller projects as they arise

Mr. Moore was on time, was polite and friendly and his charges were reasonable and accurately listed on the invoice. I appreciated his advice on the garden gate which I had wanted him to paint. He advised me not to because the age of the gate (10 Years) will probably make replacement necessary before too long. I had also wanted him to paint a wooden side gate. Again, he said this was not necessary. A good power wash would restore it perfectly well. He will do this next visit. I have had some unsatisfactory experiences with handymen who do not answer phone calls, do not come when expected and do not do good work. To find someone like Mr. Moore who works well, whose charges are reasonable, who leaves the work areas in apple pie order and who gives good advice. Well, he's a treasure. I look forward to having him help me out again soon.

Jim called to let me know he was delayed by traffic, much appreciated. Examined attic for whole house fan installation and we agreed due to attic design not a doable project. He did install the GFIs that I had requested. Excellent workmanship. Will call him for any other tasks I have. I rated an A on punctuality due to phone call to me.

Jim Moore was very nice. He was on time and the price was more than fair. I will definitely call him again when I need a handyman.

He was a nice and polite guy. He seemed to know what he was doing. He learned a lot on his own. He was efficient.

I called the JMHDS one time which was when it was in the middle of a project and he said that he would call me back but never did. But I might call him back in the near future because he is rated top notch and I'm willing to give him a chance if I still go with the remodeling job.

Jim arrived on time, worked quickly and was friendly and extremely knowledgeable. I highly recommend his services and will call him again if I ever need a handyman.

Jim was prompt, clear, careful, and neat. He had underestimated the time needed to do drywall patching/texturing, so he came back on Saturday with a helper. She was on a tight schedule, and I think rushed her portion of the drywall work, leaving some areas insufficiently textured and not cleaned up. Jim did subtract from the bill an hour's payment, as I estimated that amount of cleanup time for me. I had not noticed at that time the areas of insufficient texturing that will have to be redone. I would hire Jim alone again.

He fixed my doorbell and water pressure well. He was supposed to fix the garage door, but examined the door and did not find any problems. I have to hire someone else to fix the door which is now non-functional.

Jim was very professional. He showed up on time, quoted price in advance and was very experienced. He's also a really nice guy that I felt comfortable to have in my house. I would highly recommend him.

Jim Moore called back shortly after I left a message for him. He was able to fit me into his schedule the same day even if it meant working late. He was very professional, knew what he was doing, was well prepared with his own tools, and upon completion, he put the treadmill through its various functions to ensure that it was working properly. He was very amiable and knowledgeable. I will definitely use him again.

Although he arrived 25 minutes late, Jim did an excellent job installing our new RO system. He discussed various options with us and proceeded to do the job as promised. When a part did not fit, he went out briefly to purchase the part to complete the installation. He promised to come back immediately if there was any problem with the system. He mentioned that he has a full work load but makes every effort to take care of Angie's List customers. I'd call him again without hesitation.

BAD EXPERIENCE. HE DID A VERY POOR JOB, APPLYING VERY LITTLE PAINT TO SURFACE. HE SPLATTERED PAINT ALL OVER PATIO FLOOR AND SPILLED A SIGNIFICANT AMOUNT OF PAINT ON THE COOL DECK. HE DID NOT CLEAN UP THE SPLATTERS AND DID NOT CLEAN UP OR TELL US ABOUT THE SPILL ON THE COOL DECK. HE ALSO DID A VERY POOR JOB ON THE GARAGE DOOR. IT WAS DARK WHEN WE GOT HOME, SO WE DID NOT GET A CHANCE TO INSPECT HIS WORK IN DAYLIGHT, AS HE WAS PROMPTLY THERE TO COLLECT PAYMENT AT 6:00 PM OF DAY HE PAINTED. HIS INVOICE WAS FOR $240, WHICH INCLUDED A $40 TRIP CHARGE. HIS ESTIMATE OR QUOTE TO ME WAS $160 TO $200. HE MADE NO MENTION OF A $40 TRIP CHARGE AT THE TIME HE GAVE ME AN ESTIMATE FOR THE WORK. ALL IN ALL, VERY POOR QUALITY WORK.

JIM IS A VERY PERSONABLE FELLOW, AND WE LIKED HIM AND HIS WORK. HE HAD MIS-WIRED THE GARAGE DOOR OPENER CONSOLE LIGHTED BUTTONS. WHEN I MENTIONED IT, HE FIXED IT RIGHT AWAY. HIS HOURLY RATE IS VERY REASONABLE, AND HE PERFORMED THE WORK WELL.

JIM MOORE IS EXTREMELY COMPETENT, TRUST-WORTHY, KNOWLEDGEABLE, PUNCTUAL, PROFESSIONAL, AND PLEASANT. NEEDLESS TO SAY, I AM VERY HAPPY WITH HIS WORK. I WILL DEFINITELY CALL HIM AGAIN.

JIM WAS FRIENDLY, EFFICIENT AND ACCOMMODATED MY WORK SCHEDULE. I THOUGHT HE WAS VERY REASONABLY PRICED AND WILL DEFINITELY CALL HIM AGAIN.

VERY ACCOMMODATING, VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE, AND ARRIVED ON TIME. VERY SATISFIED WITH QUALITY. HE WAS PLEASANT, AND CONDUCTED HIMSELF LIKE A BUSINESS MAN. I WILL USE HIM IN THE FUTURE.

HE WAS A REFERRAL TO ME. WAS PROMPT, PLESANT..TAKES PRIDE IN DOING JOB RIGHT. WANTS CUSTOMER COMPLETELY SATISFIED. HE WORKS ALL OVER TOWN.
