When I call him, if he doesn’t answer right away, I leave a message on his voice mail, and I know that I’ll hear from him within 8 hours.

He painted the interiors, replaced some bathroom lights. He also replaced a dinning room light and he installed cabinets in 3 bathrooms. He was professional, responsive and punctual.

Came the day after I called. Arrived a bit late, but called to let me know.

Jim Moore painted the whole interior of my house. It was an excellent experince. He is a great all around handyman. With the painting he also put up two cabinets and a chandelier. He also put some furniture together. Everything he did was of great quality.

Jim came by and priced out the job, bought the materials and returned to work on the project. He used a lot of caulk, and we later had to have someone repair his work. Jim was also supposed to be working on some gates for us. He took measurements. We called him multiple times to follow up on the gates, but he never got back to us. Because of his lack of responsiveness, we will not use him again. He also charged us a $40 trip fee, in addition to the $200 labor and $150 materials.

Jim made several visits as I kept finding things I had put off doing. He was friendly, very helpful and gave useful advice on other projects around the house.

He had to cut a piece of drywall off and cut the copper tubing and replaced the bad faucets with the ones I had bought from Home Depot and soldered. He put the drywall piece back and refinished it. He did not replace the coverings because he was missing a piece of plastic tubing that he needed to use if he replaced the housing. Overall it was a good experience. He is an easy guy. Will call him again if needed.

He fixed my patio around the ground. He was very fair with his price.

Fantastic! Jim was prompt in returning phone calls and arriving as scheduled. He came out right away to give a free estimate and then returned at a mutually convenient time to do the work. He was polite, friendly, and skilled. His work was top quality, but he also worked quickly and did not try to stretch out his time on the clock at an hourly rate. Additionally, I respected the fact that he did not agree to take on a project that really would be better left to a specialized contractor. I will have Jim come back when we are ready work on the inside of our home, and I'd recommend him to anyone needing general handyman, installation, and electrical services. P.S. It's great to be able to hire-out work when no one in your family is "handy"!

I got 2 estimates for the job and they were exactly the same. I decided to go with Jim as his schedule worked best with mine. He came on time, but forgot something needed for the door installation, so had to retrieve that before he started work. Due to that late start and running out to get some things at lunch he did not complete the work in 1 day as expected, but had to come back and finish it on another day later that week. I work 10 minutes from home, so coming back to let him in was not too much of a problem. The work cost the same as the estimate plus a few parts I hadn't purchased beforehand. After Jim left I began to notice that some of the painting was a bit sloppy, so I called him and he came back and fixed those issues to my satisfaction at no charge.

He made the estimate, got the necessary materials and did all the work.

The project went very well.

Jim did good work and charged a fair price. My only complaint was the amount of time, in between the first and second visits to do the work.

Jim was on time and very detailed. When there was plumbing issues he was not comfortable with, he recommended a plumber. He did the work well.

Jim arrived on time and gave me an estimate on how much the work would cost. After prior experiences with roofing companies, I was expecting Jim to give me the estimate and then tell me it would be another 3 weeks before he could do the job. To my surprise, he was able to do it right away. He did the job in the time estimated and even gave me some pointers on some other projects I am attempting to do myself. Jim was a pleasure to work with.

Jim was very professional. He started and finished on time. He performed the work in the time he had estimated.

It was good work and done on time. Showed up as promised. Reasonable price.

First, I called Jim on extremely short notice (i.e. Can you come now?) to assist me when I realized I neglected to schedule a handyman to assist me the week of an open house. Jim was not only on time, he actually arrived early on the first day--much to my relief. He was professional, worked hard, and did high quality work. I was so pleased with his work for 6 hours the first day that I scheduled him to return for another 5 hours a second day. I definitely will use him again, and I highly recommend him.

Jim made a preliminary visit and provided an estimate. He purchased the required materials, and then returned on schedule to complete all of the work in one day. Every task was done perfectly.

He was on time, and very efficient. Charges by the hour, reasonable pricing, knowledgeable, and seems like a very dependable person.

I had a hard time trying to find someone for such a small job. I wasted two weeks with a painter who kept rescheduling and never showing. Jim took a week to phone me back, but did the job as scheduled, and was kind enough to wait for me to return home from work to be paid. He charges a "trip charge" of $40, which I found excessive, as he was less than 6 miles away. However, with this job it was well worth it, just to get it done.

This is the second time I have used Jim Moore for various jobs around our home, and as per usual his work was first class. Always on time, price extremely competitive,and the work performed and completed was top notch. I highly recommend Jim Moore Handyman services, I will certainly be using him again this year.

Jim was very courteous and professional. He arrived a little late but had called well enough in advance that it was not a problem. He immediately came in and identified the problems and went right to work. One of my drawers needed extra woodwork which he completed at home (he did not make me pay until the job was 100% done the next day when he returned) and promptly brought back over to install the very next day! All work was completed and he cleaned up after himself.
