I couldn’t have been more pleased with John’s work. He was honest, efficient, and fair. At times, he gave me options of things that could be done to remedy a situation. He knew his stuff and was so careful in doing repairs. He took the time to explain things so I had a clear understanding of how things worked. I appreciated his expertise. He was absolutely great, and I was so glad he gave me his card. I would definitely call him again!!

It went very well. I was concerned nobody would contact me because for whatever reason, Angi did not provide me an opportunity to describe the work needed. But John called me same day and I think we hit it off well. The work was for a rental and so I asked John to coordinate with the tenant which he did. Tenant feedback was very positive.

HE WORKED HARD, EXPLAINED EVERYTHING, WAS HONEST,----WOULD HIRE HIM AGAIN.

Terribly! He had a poor attitude the minute he walked into the door. I told him that I needed some walls painted in a small bathroom which had new texture on them. He could not sand the texture, so I did it for him. After getting area ready for him, he than said, "he didn't feel like painting so he will pass on that job." He installed a Rev a Shelf, but put the metal shelf above on a freshly painted shelf, dragged metal across it & scratched it up. When he went to put door/drawer pulls, he man handled freshly sprayed cabinet doors, insisted that he had to work alone (80 yr. mom was watching TV 15ft away), than proceeded to moved into the space I was working in. When I told him he needed to move to the table area I set up for him, he said he was done for the day and left. When I needed help, he bailed on us. He also mentioned that "he will do the job his way & will charge the customer more if they give advise or tell him how to do his job." I was so disappointed with his lack of customer service & integrity. I highly advise that no one hire him!

John was prompt to every appointment and made accurate projections for how long the tasks would take. He kept me informed of progress and challenges that arose. He cleaned up after his work.

Handyman was on time. Very friendly and professional. No issues with installation as of yet. He was also very informative on the stop valve and what to look for before it is too late.

John did a great job at a very reasonable price. He even re-enforced the builder's installed electric boxes. The fans are very sturdy even running at high speed. Would definitely hire again!

He complained from the beginning and started making excuses for possible mistakes before he got started. Made me concerned. First, he complained it was an apartment and if he knew he would never taken the job. He had my address before taking the job. Next he said the instructions to the pantry were poor and they didn’t tell you what tools are needed. I looked at the instructions and looking at the parts I said all you need is a screwdriver and the instructions look very clear. He said he’d hang the kitchen shelves first. He asked if he should drill into the tile or grout. I said that’s why I hired him. He asked if I had a hammer because he didn’t want to walk to his truck. He didn’t have screws to attach shelves to brackets. He did do a good job on the shelves otherwise. But, at that point I was done with him. I told him I would assemble the pantry myself. He seemed relieved. I don’t understand why he took the job if he didn’t want to do it. And shouldn’t a handyman have basic supplies like screws? BTW I assembled the pantry with no problems, instructions were great.

John was very pleasant, professional and knowledge! Was able to fix the issue quickly even though it was a head scratcher of a situation! Was also very kind enough to schedule the repair on an extremely short notice; my family was delighted and appreciative of his service and will definitely be hiring him again for tips, tricks and repairs!

Mr. Nelson did several jobs around my home some a little tricky and some easy things. he worked fast and efficiently. Price was great and worth it. I will be bringing him back
