They just progressively got worse and worse and finally it came down to them breaking a piece and didn’t shut the system off. When I came home there was a 40 foot geyser shooting up water on my house. They were going to charge me for the part and labor to fix what they broke. They were unresponsive if you called about a problem after lunch time and they never shut the gate when they left my house.

I called my home warranty company because the pump on our pool and spa was not working properly. They sent another company that installed an EchoStar pump for over $1100 plus service fee. Within three days, the pump died and had to be replaced. The other company replaced the EchoStar pump and asked me to fill out the warranty papers and mail them in, which I did. When I needed pool and spa service, I called Island Time Pool Service. This company has been in business for over 20 years and the owner himself came out to talk with me and to get my pool service set up to my specifications. He told me that at the beginning he did all of the pool service himself but now they have over 1100 customers and he has a large staff that takes care of each customer's needs, however, he still goes out on the initial visit and sets up customer requirements personally. They are on call 24/7 and encourage their customers to call with anything that they notice for service on the pool, for example if yellow algae appears: they will fix it immediately. Three weeks later, they called let me know that during a normal service, the pool pump would turn on but nothing would happen. They told me that I needed to get warranty work done and asked me the name of the company that had installed the pool pump. When I called the company that did the original installation they informed me that they don't do warranty work because they are not on EchoStar's preferred list and their attitude about helping me find serial numbers etc. wasand quot; you bought it, you own it.and quot; I called Island Time and explained my predicament and they immediately went to work to get the warranty work set up with EchoStar. Within a week, I simply got a call from someone saying that he was here to do the warranty work. The Work was done that day at no cost to me, thanks to I sland Time Pool Service. I didn't have to do anything further – Island Time simply took care of everything. The service is great- they are professional, on time, and well priced for the service. I would highly recommend this group. Monthly service is $85 if you provide the chemicals, a little more if they provide the chemicals.

Everyone at Island times has been great! We have a monthly service contract with them including chemicals, and they have been great. Courteous, punctual, easy to work with, offering suggestions and advice. I would recommend them to anyone with a pool that just wants to enjoy it, not deal with all of the hassle.

Curtis is the man that does my pool. He is such a nice man. He does any repairs and then charges me, which is good. If he can't do a repair he calls the office to set up someone to come for the repair. I pay him by the month and it is more during the summer months. I asked them to come before noon and he comes in the morning. I would recommend him.

Constantly add on extra costs for chemicals, unnecessary parts, etc. Salesman/owner very good but too busy to check behind technicians. First technician did a good job but left company. I had to check behind his replacement and complain to the office frequently. He didn't always perform services that he would check off of his list. I didn't have time to check behind him and could no longer rely on them for quality service so found a new company.

Very reliable and professional. They always check before replacing parts or recommending additional services. Island Time performed the conversion from chlorine to saline for both my pool and jacuzzi. They took care of all the details and did a great job.
