Javier, the owner, came with a group of guys to attempt to pull up the carpet so that we could clean up the floors to prepare for the work. He was unable to so recommened a company that specialized in concrete grinding. We hired them and groud the entire house for about 3k to prep the area. Javier then came in and patched, etched and applied the color overlay as the contact stated. On the day when they were supposed to seal the floors he told me they couldnt because it has to be under 90 degrees to do this. This should have been obvious before starting that this would be a problem since it was 110 outside and there was no power to the house yet (new home construction). Our only option was to cover the floors with a paper to try and protect them until the construction was far enough that we could turn on power. This was not the best method to leave the floors unsealed because EVERYTHING stains it. about 2 months later when we had power and AC inside he came back, cleaned the floors, put another coat of the colored overlay. This time the colored overlay didnt look right. You could see the swirl marks from the squeegee he uses to spread it around. He then decided to take the what was supposed to be clear sealant and tinted it grey which is the color the floors were supposed to be. He did two coats of this and the floors looked decent at this point. A few weeks later cracks begane to show through all these coatings and anything scuffs and scratches these floors. I had 3 different compaines out to try and clean but it does not come off. Every day the floors look worse and worse. I can see every cut and crack that was made in the concrete before. The floors also now look painted when they were supposed to look like concrete. I looked up and called the manufucturer of the product they used and for at least the scuffing, it seems this is happening because there is not top coat of clear for protection. The current topcoat has color in it and get stained because there is nothing protecting it. Javier did promise to come out and honor is 2 year written warranty I have. He has cancelled at least 5 times and now wont return calls or emails to me or my interior designer. We have been trying for 3 months to get this fixed which is a pain because I still cant move in all the way, because the entire house has to have the floors redone. He seems like a really really nice guy, but just does not have it together with his business. I've also filed a complaint with the Arizona Board of Contractors hoping they can find him and get these fixed without me paying another 9k to another company.

We found them through Angie's List. The came and gave us an estimate. They gave us the look that we were working for. We went with them because the owner was very professional, he gave some samples, he was open minded, knowledgeable, and understood my needs. I have already referred them to friends of mine.
Description of Work: They came to my house and they cleaned my floors, they finished them, they sealed them, they did some patchwork, they colored, and then they waxed them.
