Immediate Pool Builders & Repairs

I called on Monday, August 18th - spoke to Tricia. Was referred to a Leak Detection Company. Found out the problem and called Immediate Pool Builders back on Wednesday, August 20th to get a quote on fixing the problem. I mentioned to Tricia that we were loosing A LOT of water and needed to get the pool fixed ASAP. She said she will give Steve the note and he will call me back right away. I never did get a call back. I called again, after business hours on the 20th and left a message with my call back info. I called again the next morning and spoke to Tricia. She apologized and I thought that she understood my urgency. She said I would get a call back. So much for IMMEDIATE...I NEVER got a call back. Finally gave up and called another company that had been referred to me. They responded within 30 minutes and had a technician out the same day. Got a quote the next day and the repair will be completed before the week is up. Our pool is due to be resurfaced in the next couple of years - I WILL NOT be calling Immediate Pool Builders.

If I ever have the need to have any other work done on my pool, I will certainly contact Immediate Pool Builders & Repairs. Thanks Steve!

The provider responded to my Angie's list message asking me to contact her at her gmail address. I responded to the gmail address and never received a response.

It took some time, but it all worked out. The skimmer had cracked and needed replacement. There were also some cracks visible in the shell and we needed to know if they if were a cause of the water loss in addition. After the backwash was replaced and the cracks were determined to be not a problem.The backwash weir had some issues and the backwash did not want to move. They came out and could not get the valve to budge, but it was not leaking so I waited until the weather was hot to deal with the backwash valve. Long story short, it all worked out and they helped me get the pool going again. Everything works well.

Mike had it working in no time. Mike is so very professional. He knows just what to do and handled the situation so my husband didn't feel so bad for not doing things right. This is not the first time we have used this company and I will use them again.

Immediate Pools did exactly what I wanted, when I wanted for a very low price. They had the low bid on adding cool deck finish to our patio and did a fantastic job! The pool service man, Mike, is knowledgeable and competent in all aspects of pool service. In the past, I used him to replace our filter and repair the in floor cleaning system. This time the problem was an obstructed main drain line. Mike's ability to quickly and accurately diagnose and repair problems is simply first rate.

From beginning to end Immediate Pool staff and contractors were courteous, responsive and quality oriented. Getting a quote was conversational and oriented to my needs. Choosing materials was fun and I felt guided in the process. I was always aware of the timeline for construction and often asked for my feedback or concerns. Immediate ensured that the job was done right and all the T's were crossed and I's dotted. I never worried that in this complicated job, details would fall through the cracks. The pool is beautiful and I enjoyed the process.

They were hire to remove the old cool deck around the pool and replace it. Steve, the owner, came out and give us an estimate which seemed comparable to others we got. Because of the good reviews we saw on Angies's list we hire them. Steve in an email to us said the job woul take one day. We scheduled the start date May 24th so we could have time around the holiday to remove and replace the furniture slowly. On May 22nd, Thursday three men arrived to start the job. No warning or communication just arrived at our door. They proceeded to remove the furniture and place it on the grass and power wash the deck. At this point we had not even selected a color. One of the men brought in a board that had 9 color pallets and I picked out the dark brown, much different then what we had. The next day they arrived to trowel on the first coat which I thought looked kind of light but that maybe it would dry darker. Once the second cost went on I could see it was the same color as what we had, not brown. I was not the color I had picked out and pointed at and they acknowleged. We were told not to walk on it for 24 hours. It's now Saturday an they arrived again to seal it and again not to walk on it for 24 hours. Our one day and 24 hours turned into three days and 48 hours. When the job was completed the deck looked wonderful even though it was the wrong color. When they started the job, unknowing to us, they turned off the automatic water filler to the pool. They covered the pool as to not get pieces of concrete in the pool but when they took it off a good amount went to the botton of the pool. It took us two days to remove the concrete and and we are still battling get the water line back to normal. I think the biggest complaint was the lack of communication. We were told one day, it took three. They never told us about turning off the pool water filler and they put the furniture on the grass where if they would have waited we would have assisted them as to where we wanted it. We ended us moving the furniture twice and at 70 years old this was not an easy task in the 90 degree weather. We still need to get the pool cleaned of the calcium but that will have to wait an we will not be calling Immediate again.

Awesome - that pretty much sums it up. Now, granted, our job was pretty straight forward. It was just a resurface of an old plaster 20k gallon pool. But, the pool looks FANTASTIC now. We were able to sign the contract and 10 days later their tech was out to add start up chemicals to our newly resurfaced pool. They were very responsive - had a couple of items that needed follow up that were done the very next day without slowing down the process. Very, very impressed! I would definitely hire them again for other pool work.

Pebble Tec was jack-hammered out - lots of dust but no choice there. Crews cleaned up and left area in order. Pool was then tiled. Crew cleaned up and left area in order. Travertine was then place arround the pool - really looks great. Pool was cleaned and polished and started to fill with water. Tricia from Immediate Pools helped me pick out decos for tile and tile accents for steps and benches. Even added some abalone shell chips to the pebble tec for beautiful glitter in the sun. Immediate Pools started up the pool after it was completed filled with water - great service. Yes I will use them again...

Great experience from start to finish. I'd just bought the house a few months prior, and the pool was a nasty piece of work: popped plaster, a leaky and tacky glass-block wall between the hot tub and the pool, a non-working ancient pool heater, a non-working autofill located in the middle of the widest part of the cool deck so it was completely inaccessible to fix, and, to top it all off, the entire pool and hot tub were lined with this fantastically ugly pink and turquoise 1990s disaster tile. Steve came out to look it over, and then we sat down and went over every detail of what I wanted, what I needed, and what Immediate could do for me. I was very pleased; their estimate was not the lowest, but I felt very confident that they would do the job right (and that's worth more than gold!). And I was not disappointed! Every day when I came home from work, I could see that progress had been made. Gone were the hideous tiles! Gone were the gaping plaster holes! Gone was the gross, leaky glass block wall! They even closed up the defunct autofill and put in a new one in a rock area (NOT in the middle of the cool deck) so I could get to it, and its pipes, if I ever needed to - without ripping up my deck. And the work area - otherwise known as my backyard - was kept as clean as possible during this process, which I really appreciated. Before long, I had a beautiful pool and hot tub that looked brand-new, and a new pool heater that actually worked! One more thing - the selection of pool finishes and tile options at their office is amazing! I was able to find exactly what I'd envisioned, and it looks absolutely fantastic. I actually changed my mind about the color of Pebble Sheen I wanted right before it was installed, and Steve said, "No problem!" I also received extensive training on the new pool equipment. Even after the installation was complete and the crews were long gone, I called Chris on several occasions with questions, and he was so helpful and friendly! This company was a joy to deal with. I've already recommended them to several friends and neighbors, and I recommend them to you, too.

Working with Immediate was great! They were on the ball from start to finish. The initial estimate came in a little higher than another company I found on Angie's list, but the quality of their equipment was so much better that I decided to use Immediate. Tricia was willing to come in on a Saturday so I could pick out the tile, and they did an amazing job. They got it done very quickly (less than a week), and every day they cleaned up behind themselves and the finished product was beautiful. Highly recommended for anyone looking to get a pool remodel!

The work went very well. We really enjoyed working with the salesman and the owner and the workers were very professional and punctual.

Every aspect of the work was excellent and we are extremely pleased with our new pool. Steve, the owner, is very personable, knowledgeable and he and his staff are easy to work with. Over the years we have had five pools built and three remodeled. This was by far the quickest, most professional and most pleasant experience that we have had.

Well first of all i met with Steve the owner he gave me a bid.He was down to earth and very honest he told me at that time i would not really have contact with him after bid i would mostly deal with his construction coordinator Tricia. Well i got to say Tricia was great we live in east valley and both work so she went out of her way to meet us on a sat to pick out our tile and she really knew her job very well.We really didnt have much contact with construction crews but i got to say they did a fabulous job i met one gentleman from there crew he was very polite and i knew he knew his job very well he was very helpful because i had to leave for work and i knew he would do a good job overall i would call this company back in a second i had five bids and yes he was the lowest and im so glad i did i have nothing bad to say about this company.and i want to say the other girl in office was so sweet when i would call and have questions

Left a message with my name, address and phone number on their answer machine that I wanted an estimate on complete pool and patio repair but never heard back from anyone. Looked for them at the Home Show but didn't see them. In the process of working with another company.

After taking remodeling bids from 4 different companies we decided to use Immediate Pools based on the reviews read on Angie's List and are we happy we did! From the first phone call to the last day of the remodel everyone we worked with was fantastic. First contact was with Kelly when we requested a quote. A couple of days later, at the agreed upon time, Steve was in our yard talking to us about the remodel and options. That same afternoon we had the quote. Once we decided to use Immediate Pools we worked with Tricia. What a gem Steve has in her -- I don't know what she's paid but she deserves a raise. We worked with Tricia on selecting colors, writing up the contract, scheduling the different workers and phases. Every time we called she was super responsive to our questions and our needs. We plan to have more work done in the future such as having a fire pit built. Immediate Pools will definitely be our first call when we are ready.

Called to inquire about service. Pleasant lady on phone answered and needed to check if they serviced my area. Then told me she would relay my request for service to a tech who would call back to schedule service. The tech never called back that day. I called back the next day and spoke to the lady and said the tech hadn't called. She said she would check into it and contact him. I made it clear that I needed to schedule service asap and if I didn't hear in the morning I would need to call someone else. She said she understood. Over an hour later and I still hadn't heard back. I called her again and it came out that the tech would not be able to come out the following week when one of us would be home. So that ended the discussion. I rated the company as I did as I felt there should have been more follow up on their end: neither the tech nor the lady I spoke to ever called me back. I didn't rate them worse as at least the lady was pleasant.

He -the owner Steve gave me a date and finished before the due date-not one complaint-I would not use any big company to do or repair a pool-thinking of putting a spa in and he will do the work A+

Steve from Immediate Pool, also the owner, was very very helpful and consultative from the very first meeting. His experience, suggestions, and variety of pictures from previous jobs made working with Immediate an enjoyable experience! In addition to Immediate being the most competitive, Steve was very open and willing to accommodate my budget and made sound suggestions as to where we could cut expenses and where we could not. All of the employees and subs used by Immediate were extremely professional, clean,prompt, and worked very well with each to keep our project on schedule. We are first time pool owners so this entire process was a risk from the beginning - however, Steve really made us feel at ease and assured us the flexibility to develop our backyard however we REALLY wanted it! After receiving several quotes from some of the areas largest pool companies, most of whom did not follow up or provide proposal details, I felt using Immediate was the right decision. Our pool, customer water feature, and new heated jacuzzi are being enjoyed each and everyday ! I would highly recommend contacting Immediate if you are looking give your pool an extreme make over. The actual cool deck and drains came out perfect. However, during the job, the plastic sheeting that was covering the pool came off and plaster and dust went into the pool. The crew tried their best to remove the plaster from the pool. Upon my pointing out to the office, the company offered to drain the pool, which will be done in later October/early November when it cools down. As a customer, I was not given any excuses or a run around. There was a problem (not intentional) and the company said they would fix it at my convenience and had people at the house within hours of being notified of the problem. The point is that "things happen" and after the check is cashed, many companies starting dodging responsibility.

I can honestly say that Immediate Pools was simply excellent in it's delivery of service! The technician (Mike) was very knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. He did exactly what he said he would do, quickly and for the price agreed upon in advance. The installed equipment works perfectly. Our pool is now sparking clear; like new again!

Steve met with my wife and was very professional. He provided a very comprehensive estimate and was very competitive. We've continued to work with Steve on different ideas and he even came out on a Sunday to meet with me because that was the only day that worked for my schedule. He and his staff have been very helpful and responsive and very willing to work with us on different ideas and how to make sure we can get the most for our budget. We're still working through the final details but I have no doubt that we will be using them for our remodel. I will provide another review once the remodel is complete.
