Best case scenario, so thankful to have called him!

He took the time to go over other questions we had, since we are new pool owners.

Called Immediate after getting a quote from Shasta. Immediate came in over $3000.00 lower with the same services and product. Steve and his crew were very responsive to all of my needs, when problems surfaced it only took one call the they came right over and corrected it on the spot. The quality of their work and attention to detail was excellent. The overall job took a bit longer than anticipated but at no fault to Immediate and Steve's crew. We ordered a new low voltage lighting system for the pool to replace the existing fiber system. It took almost 2 weeks for it to be delivered, so they completed all the work with the exception of the pebble surface until the lighting was delivered and installed. The finished product is excellent and I highly recommend Steve and his crew of professionals.

I contacted Immediate Pool about six weeks ago via email through Angie's List. I received an automated email response on 10/30/11, but never received a call or any direct response to my inquiry. I never heard anything further.

Great experience. Steve provided good information / suggestions during the bid process and provided the lowest bid (by small margin). I'm really glad that Steve suggested using a cartridge filter system. Maintenance is much easier / more environmentally friendly than my old DE filter. When I discovered my spa was leaking before he started the job, Steve put the work on hold until the leak was fixed. Took a few trips to finally resolve the leak, but Steve kept at it until it was fixed and didn't charge me for the additional work. Once the spa leak was fixed, Steve completed the job in just a few days. Got a slight color variation on the pebble because it rained and water pooled in bottom Couldn't be more satisfied!

Excellent performance from start to finish.

The owner came the day after i called check out the heater, identified the problem, replaced the parts. He also checked the pump and gave me some advice on the pool that was greatly appreciated. I thought the price was reasonable. He was professional and friendly. I would use him again

Steve started on Monday and drained the pool. The chipping out crew started on Tuesday and finished Wednesday. On Thursday they plastered the pool. The plaster looks great! The only complaint I have is that the hose used to drain my pool was full of holes and flooded my back yard. I wish I complained and had Steve use a leak free hose. This is why I marked him down for quality. Again the plaster looks great!

We received three estimates for only pool refinishing and repair of the pool deck.. Immediate Pools was among the lowest, however we had a few changes to our needs after comparing all the estimates. We wanted an estimate which was firm for the remodel features we wanted. Immediate Pools quickly came out and incorporated our desired changes in their bid and made suggestions for other minor improvements. Their estimate came in the lowest and their suggestion for re-pouring much of the pool deck seemed a much higher quality fix for the badly broken decking than the other vendors suggested. We are very happy with our choice. Workmen came when promised and the entire job was completed in approximately 2 weeks with minimal disruption of our daily routine. The workmen were great -- even to the extent of singing on the job at times. What a great atmosphere. Steve seemed to have a good rapport with the workmen. Steve, the owner came out every day to check the progress and quality of the work. The payment schedule was reasonable and I did not fear that I was paying up front for a job that would never be done. The cost of the project was exactly the estimated amount. A couple of minor change orders at our request were handled extremely well and very reasonably priced. Steve did not take advantage of already being on site to charge inflated amounts. At the end, Steve came out to balance the pool water and finish minor wrap-up himself. He wanted to know that we were satisfied. We are VERY SATISFIED. This is the best experience I have had with a non-commercial contractor I have ever had. Steve will always be on our call list if we need his services and we are recommending him to anyone who needs this type of service.

We chose Immediate Pool Builders based on a personal reference and also the estimate we were given was the lowest in cost. Steve O'Hanlon (owner) was receptive and responsive to any and all questions we had from beginning to end and always available by phone or in person when we needed anything. The crew(s) were always there when promised, respectful of us and our property and cleaned all of their messes up immediately. We had absolutely no idea what remodeling a pool entailed and feel like we were properly informed of the entire process from beginning to end. We are absolutely thrilled with the end result and have a beautiful pool that we have had many hours of fun in this summer. If given the opportunity to do anything different I can honestly say that we wouldn't change a thing!

So far so good! They are still doing the work but I'm confident that it will turn out wonderfully! They have been great so far and I am very pleased with what has been done.

He arrived the very same day. Repaired all the tiles including surrounding tiles. He also used a product that removed calcium deposit on the area tiles. He went above and beyond my expectations and I loved that their tile specialist spoke fluent english. I am an extremely happy customer.

Steve was very responsive. The repair was done quickly. They cut out a small portion of the deck & patched it when they were through. I will definitely use them again.

Immediate Pools was one of three companies bidding on the project and the one which provided the lowest bid. My decision was not based solely on price. I preferred dealing with Steve as the business owner, rather than a company salesman. Steve's bid had the fewest disclaimers and "escape clauses." After a personal discussion and a review of Immediate's ratings with the BBB, ROC and Angie's List, I felt most comfortable dealing with Steve and made my selection accordingly. Work was scheduled to begin on January 3, 2011 and, sure enough, a demo crew was at my door before sunup on January 3. Overall, the job took about two weeks, a few days longer than originally estimated, but this was due mostly to unseasonably cold weather. Steve is a general contractor and has most of the work done by sub-contractors which, I presume, is typical of the industry. There were separate crews for demolition, tiling, deck repair/refinish, plastering and plumbing work. All the work was well-scheduled and coordinated. Steve was always available by phone for questions. The remodel looks great. A very professional looking job that really updates a 25 year old pool. I would recommend Steve and Immediate Pools to anyone. The work was done efficiently, professionally and at a reasonable price. What's not to like?

After finding the company on Angie's List, I called and talked with Steve about my pending insurance claim for damage to our pool's deck. He said the only proper way to do the repair would be to replace the entire deck, and gave me a per-foot estimate for that. I later called back and asked that he give me a written estimate of the total cost, and he agreed to come to the house to do so. And it was more-or-less immediate. Unheard of! He was very helpful and gave me good information, along with the estimate. All this in spite of the fact that he was virtually certain there wasn't a cent of income in it for him. Hopefully, we'll be able to correct that later when there isn't an insurance company calling the shots.

They were very neat, clean, responsive, and respectable. They are personable and have good work ethics.

Lowest bid of four (others either from Angie's List or recommended by friends). Started reno within days of decision. Reno lasted 5 days. Day 1: Pool drained. Day 2: Plaster & tile removed. Day 3: New tile installed. Day 4: New plaster installed. Day 5: Plaster polished and acid washed, pool filled. Day 6: We were swimming again!

They were very prompt at returning calls, quick with info. I was researching 3 companies and they were best at that. Great personalities. Office personnel Sharon was a doll....she helped me with decisions...great taste. Nice list of references. Estimate made 3-4, made my decision 3-15, pool drained 3-19, chip-out 3-22, one rain day, pool refilled 3-26. Can't say enough good about them. I was truly amazed the job went so well after having heard of other fiascos about other companies.

We had a great experience with Immediate. They came out within a couple days of our call to begin the process and were always there when they said they would be for the other visits needed. The first day they came out and started the pump to drain the pool. They then came back the next day to do the acid wash. As we were looking over the results of the acid wash, I inquired as to how to get rid of the heavy water line in the pool (the acid wash helped a bit but the line was too heavy to get rid of it completely). They referred me to a wonderful gentleman who rearranged his schedule to come out the next day since the pool was already drained. Immediate then came out the next afternoon once the pool was full to perform the start-up. We learned when they turned on the pump that we had a problem with our filter so they came back again the next day to look into that issue and within a couple days had that fixed as well. We had a great experience with Immediate.

Always cheerful, responsive and helpful. He really seems to know pools.
