Showed up on time to provide the estimate, spent time going over various options but was not trying to up sell. After looking at other bids went with Immediate. They showed up on schedule, were careful about the plants, etc around the pool, did a professional job on the pool. On the orginal estimate, Immediate had placed a price on a minor repair, but to their credit when the work to repair the crack did not prove as extensive as estimated, Immediate did not charge for the repair, to their credit. We love the work that Immediate did and the new appearance of our pool.

We called Steve after another company had started the replastering process. The other company had chipped out the pool, but kept putting us off when it came to replastering. After three weeks, we called Steve. He came out the next day to look at the pool and give us an estimate. He also talked to us about going with pebble tech. It was just under 1000 more, but after we looked into the pros and cons, we opted to go with the pebble tech. Once we hired him, his guys were out in the next two days and the work was completed in less than one week. He was incredibly professional and responsive to any phone calls for questions we might have had. We even called him a few months later when we were having trouble with our pool pump and Steve was nice enough to talk us through the problem over the phone. Steve and his crew were incredibly professional, prompt and did not pressure us with our choices whatsoever. When the time comes to get our pool tile done, we will certainly go with Steve.

Mike held "pool school" for me to teach me how to care for my pool, pump and filters. He was a dream! He had to return on day two to install new pressure valve and to clean salt cell. Pool needed chlorine so he bought some for me. He even made a holder for cleaning the salt cell from PVC so I can do future general maintenance myself. Mike could not be more attentive, neat and professional. My friends in Phoenix who referred me to Immediate Pools were so very right. They are a dream to do business with. Timely, dependable, affordable and considerate! They are top of my list when its time to get a bid for deck resurfacing!

It was very good. They did a very good job, but the communication was a little difficult.

I found Immediate Pools through Angles List (which I joined specifically to find a pool repair company). After I found and reviewed several companies with "A" ratings, I settled on and called Immediate Pools and spoke with the owner, Steve O'Hanlon. After discussing my immediate problem, he offered what turned out to be the solution to my problem. I was absolutely thrilled. I did contract with him on the spot to take care of a few other equipment leaks and such. He selected Mike to do the repairs and told me to expect his call. Shortly after I hung up with Steve, I received a call from Mike, He asked me for a little more detail around the problem(s), confirmed the address told me about when he'd be arriving and called the following morning to confirm. He arrived when he said he would, and was friendly, courteous and totally professional. He checked over my system, (not just the immediate leak, diagnosed the problem a bad Backwash valve that I did know about, (and a cracked housing that I didn't know about), and found a far less expensive and simpler way to do the repair. As a seasoned veteran of many pools and pool repairs, I can say with complete candor, that I have never had such great service and a 100% over the top satisfaction with a service or repair situation. The price was very fair, and had Mike had the mind to, could have made this repair far more complex and expensive. I cannot say enough about Immediate Pools and the quality if his staff, and I only wish more companies I dealt with were of this quality. I will use Immediate Pools moving forward for all my pool related issues.As someone who does most of his own repairs, I was ready for a lower quality of service than what I normally performed. I will only say they did a far more professional and speedy job, then I could ever have done on my own. As I have limited time to do any of this work any longer, finding a trustworthy company who will absolutely treat my old pool with care, was an absolute goldmine. I could go on and on, but it would sound more like a paid endorsement, then an unsolicited testimonial.

This is the second report I've filed for Immediate Pool Builders because their follow-up service was just as outstanding as their initial pool repair service. A crack appeared in our recently-repaired pool deck. I called Immediate Pools to come out and check it. The next day a crew appeared at my door, suggested a solution to the crack, and got to work immediately. Within 24 hours, our deck was fixed at no charge. I commend Steve and Immediate Pools for their fast, no-nonsense approach to pool repair. Our pool tech says our pool is the most beautiful he services, and the plaster job is outstanding. I recommend Immediate Pools to all my friends!

Professional, prompt, and reasonable. Mike was quickly able to resolve my problem. He was meticulous and thorough. I appreciated that he worked with me to accommodate my schedule, and he was right on time. He was friendly and willing to answer all my other questions about pool care and upgrades. I plan to return to this company in the future.

Just moved into a foreclosure w/ very green pool, leaking pump and filter, frozen valves, and clogged drain lines. Found Immediate Pools on Angie's list and made an appt for Friday morning. Mike called prior to his arrival to let me know he was on his way. He was prompt, polite, and communicative about what he was doing, what he found, and what needed to be be fixed or replaced. There were no surprises. He had to return on Monday because he didn't have all the parts he would need to make all the repairs. Over the weekend, I found the timer wasn't working so I called and asked him to bring one w/ him. He had to make an extra stop at the warehouse to do it, but showed up Monday w/ a timer and everything else he needed. He worked efficiently, cleaned up afterwards and sure didn't mind letting me watch or ask questions. While we've had pools before, each is different in it's own way and Mike took the time to explain this one's mechanical workings to my husband and I, which was a great time saver. Mike arrived on time and worked efficiently. He was professional, pleasant, and polite. He kept me informed, he kept the work area orderly and he cleaned up after the work was done. We are very happy with Mike, the quality of the work done, the price and the company. We will certainly use them again and recommend them to anyone needing pump or filter repair.

The pool was done on schedule and to our satisfaction. Immediate pools is very good about communicating the schedule and also making sure your pool start up and everything after goes smoothly. Our pool was complete in under 6 weeks.

I am so impressed with this high quality operation. We used their advice while home shopping and found them to be very forward thinking and very helpful in evaluating pre-existing pools. IN the end we settled on a home w/o a pool and our current plans are to use Immediate Pools as our builder. I cannot emphasize enough how much help this company was in advising us for free regarding potential homes for sale and the pools evolved.

I closed on a home with a big pool in West Phoenix in early April. I bought the house from a "flipper" and fully expected that all of the major renovations were completed. The pool walls and bottom were covered with some type of cheap polymer, which my inspector said would last two years. It didn't. Within weeks of moving into the house, it began to crack and peal. After tortuous negotiations with the sellers, we were able to get them to agree to help pay for repairs. I then contacted three pool companies -- a "Big Name" company, a small one-man shop recommended by a friend, and Immediate Pools. Immediate's price was as low as the small company, and significantly lower than the Big Name firm. I went with Immediate. They came exactly on the day they said they would, and did the work right on time. In fact, they were never late throughout the whole project. (The only delay occurred because it took us longer to drain the pool than expected.) Otherwise, we finished right on time. In the course of demolishing the old surface, Immediate discovered the gunnite under the plaster was completely eroded (hence, the polymer cover). They negotiated a very fair price with me on the spot to re-build the bottom of the pool, and because I wasn't expecting the additional expense, they agreed to let me pay in two monthly installments. They didn't have to do that -- especially since I was essentially at their mercy at that point. The rest of the project proceeded smoothly, and less than a week after they began the project, we were swimming in our fantastic new pool. In closing, I can't say enough about Immediate Pools, and in particular, the owner Steve and his right-hand man, Kevin. I was really expecting the worst, given the horror stories I've heard about pool renovations over the years. None of that happened on this project. I will not hesitate to recommend these guys to anyone who cares to listen, and have bent my friends' ears off talking about what a great job they did. We had a pool party this past weekend, and everyone agreed.

Set appointment for quote on 6/15. Steve arrived early, presented options/upgrades offered and delivered written quote within 2 hours. Pool was drained by end of the same day, completely chipped by mid-afternoon the following day. I chose to pay an "extra" $1000 to do Pebble (vs. plaster), included in the amount shown above.. Was swimming again on the 7th day. I was amazed by the amount of work the chipping and refinishing crews did and by their speed in doing it. Left the whole place spotless and aesthetically better than new. Call Lee at 602-361-4122 if additional information is needed. Found this outfit on AL and was more than satisfied.

Mike not only solved the immediate problem, but pointed out a preventive issue that needed to be addressed. The work was done promptly and completely. I will be using Immediate Pool again.

I thought that my pool had a leak. I was willing to spend the $400 to find the leak and the $4000 or more to fix it. I called Immediate Pool Builders and talked to Kevin. He suggested putting a clear bucket on the top step in the pool, filled with water to the exact same level as the pool, then wait and see what happens. Well, after 10 days the levels still matched, so I don't have a leak after all. Even though I don't need any work done right now, When it comes time to replaster my pool and replace the cool deck, Immediate will be my first choice to do the work, just because of their honesty and integrity.

Mike showed up on time, got right to work and had us fixed in no time. He was extremely gracious in explaining things to me, considering that we are the source of most of our problems due to a lack of knowledge on our part! I will call them whenever I have a problem, and when it's time to replace this equipment.

They did a great job and when we had questions on a few things after they where done they always communicated and where always available! Great JOB and would work with them again!!!

I called Immediate Pools to get a quote to fix or replace my sand filter. I was told I'd receive a call from a tech shortly, and I did. I spoke with Mike over the phone and explained what was going on. He was able to give me a quote over the phone, for fixing and for replacing the filter. He was very knowledgeable, and quick to get back to me with prices. After speaking with Mike, and speaking with a few other pool repair companies, I realized my best option was to replace the filter with side mount filter rather than the top mount I had. I also decided on the pentair product versus the hayward product, a few different sources said it is a better product and worth the slight bump in cost. Mike said he could do the install the next morning. The following morning Mike called around 9:30, told me he was running a little behind but we be there shortly. When Mike arrived he wasted no time, inspected my setup, and explained in detail on how the pump/system works and why my setup would be more efficient after the new filter was installed. The one thing that impressed me the most was he took his time in laying out the pipe work. He wanted to make sure it looked like a professional install, and the pipe/water flow was correct at the same time. Mike wrapped up the install in approx 2.5hrs, explained where the gaskets were in the new backwash valve, and how to replace them, and dumped the old sand and took away the old sand filter. Mike is a journeyman pool tech, a younger guy that really knows his stuff and does solid work. I get the sense he enjoys teaching his clients how pool "stuff" works, he mentioned more than once to call him anytime with any pool questions, even if I didn't need a service call.I'm really happy with the results and will most likely use him again when the need arises.

Let me start by saying, we are extremely happy with the service provided! We purchased our home about 9 months ago. We did everything we were supposed to do. Hired an inspector and a pool specialist. Other than the pool needing resurfaced, "everything was in good shape." The day we closed on our home the pump went out. We called "another company" to fix the problems. $500 later, we thought the pool was fixed (not knowing much about pools). Then we had an Algae Blossom!! Oh yes, wonderful. Needless to say, we had no idea how badly our system was until Immediate Pool Service came out. Just about everything needed to be replaced. You should see our pool now!! Unbelievable difference. It took 3 days total to repair the mess, but he was prompt and very honest. We will definitely use Immediate Pool Service in the future for our servicing needs and would recommend anyone looking at the reviews on Angie's List to give Immediate Pools the opportunity to fix their problems. Our plaster pool was 18 years old, and it was time for a remodel. After getting quotes from 3 vendors, Immediate Pools came in the middle of the pack. What a pleasant surprise working with Immediate Pools! The crews were prompt, quick and didn't leave a mess. Steve O'Hanlon was patient with us as we gathered quotes, and personally came out to start-up the pool when finished. If you're looking to freshen up the look of your pool, I would definitely give Immediate Pools a call. Don't be scared off by the low quote!

First of all, I am not employed by Immediate Pool, nor one their relatives. I am a customer that found them here on Angie?s List. I am also a skeptic. I believe little until I see it. In the case of Immediate Pool, I saw it. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Steve O?Hanlon?s people did a complete pool refinishing for us with which we are extremely pleased. Some observations: * Steve?s bid was among the lowest we received, and was quite fair. * There were delays in the construction, virtually all of which were caused by me. When I got out of the way, the crews appeared and did their work with almost startling promptness and speed. * To a man, the crews were professional, careful and clean. The quality of their work was excellent and apparent. My neighbors have been coming over and commenting on it. * Prior to contracting with Immediate, I had created a complication regarding a piece of pool equipment. It could easily have turned into an opportunity for Steve to take advantage of us and pile on extra costs. Instead, he went out of his way to try to solve the problem for us, and at the lowest possible price. The costs of the fix ended up being minor. I don?t write reviews like this often. This one was earned.

Needed my DE filter grids cleaned out. We had been negligent in getting them done annually so there was a lot of build up inside the grid area. Mike, the service/repair technician, called first thing the morning after I submitted my request through Angie's List. He was polite and professional on the phone. He arrived on the day of the appointment on time with a friendly and professional demeanor. He examined the system and sadly it needed more than just a cleaning. The grids had been damaged and the manifold that holds the grid was cracked. He explained everything to me as he was working it and answered all my questions. After he got the DE filter apart he got a quote on the parts to repair it. With the age of the filter, however, there was no guarantee that something else wouldn't happen with the housing (container) down the road. I asked him about the various filters types available and what it would take to simply replace it and start fresh. He explained how the various filter systems work - sand, DE and cartridge. I asked him to provide a quote a new DE system and a cartridge system. He was able to get a quote quickly and after a phone call to my 'significant other' we decided to have the filter replaced with a new cartridge system rather than the repair the old DE system. Mike explained to me how he would have to do some minor plumbing rework on from the DE system to install the cartridge system. The next day he returned, installed the system, modified the plumbing and painted it all to match! It looks beautiful and works great! He said he guarantees his work so if we notice any leaks in the next 30 days, call him and he'll come back and make sure it's right. oh, and we also had him drop a pump into the pool so we can drain it and start with fresh water. Prompt, courteous, friendly and professional - not to mention very knowledgeable and talented. Job well done! I'd definitely recommend Immediate Pools for any pool repairs you need!

This company is awesome! I do have a minor issue with housekeeping, the chippers left a pile of slurry-goop on some decorative rock. The chipper boss came out to look at it and said they like to leave things better than when they arrive and his guys would be out Tuesday-Wendsday to clean it up, yup you guessed it a No-Show. This is why a "B" grade in Professionalism! That aside, this company came in far lower the Shasta (4k) or MJC (1.5k) and the work was superior too.

I will call Immediate pools whenever I have problems or questions about my pool! Very impressed!
