I purchased a place a year and half ago and new the A/C unit was 20+ yrs old. The system hasn't been able to cool the condo properly during the day, so I looked up on Angie's list for the highest rated provider to have come out to look over the system. He advised the system was pretty well gone, that doing any maintenance on it would be at least a few $100+ and based on the criteria (I plan on selling in a yr or 2) that I gave the technician he commend that I run into the ground and replace. They are coming out next week to give a quote for a new A/C unit with install. I am getting a few quotes else were to compare but overall I've been very happy with this company. They have been very punctual, easy to get of hold, friendly and not to pushy.

Perfect, technician was professional and patient with me. I asked multiple questions and scenarios that he answered with clarity and patience. Wish I could remember his name.

They did a good job. They were very prompt and were right on time. I think the price was reasonable and they provided a few recommendations for products that may help. They were very professional and they were very patient with my questions and answered them well.

They called the morning of the appointment and showed up at the designated time. After reviewing what was to be done with me they started to work. The area beneath and around the area where holes were cut in the ceiling was covered and the area cleaned up after work was completed. My two bedrooms are now at a better temperature and the new room temperature is great. Would highly recommend this company. I chose this company because I had bought a coupon from Angie's List for a spring AC checkup and was very impressed with the service I received.

THE SALES REP, SCOTT BIRD, IS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND EXPLAINED IN DETAIL THE DO'S AND DON'TS OF PURCHASING THE CORRECTLY SIZED UNIT. HE SUGGESTED A SYSTEM THAT WAS $2,000.00 LESS THAN A DIFFERANT UNIT QUOTED TO ME BY ANOTHER A/C COMPANY. I HAD HOWARD AIR INSTALL THEIR SYSTEM AND COULDN'T BE HAPPIER! THE INSTALL CREW DID A GREAT JOB AND WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL.

AC unit failed 10 days ago. We tried our home warranty company first. Their co. performed a line leak test and determined there was a leak in the underground portion of the line. A line re-route would be needed. Unfortunately this co. could not do the actual work. Warranty co. gave permission to go out of network. Looked on Angies List and selected Howard Air based on feedback and overall ranking. I'm very happy I did. They were prompt, responsive, thorough and cost effective. Brian and Mike deserve kudos for fitting us in during their very busy schedule. Howard Air accurately diagnosed the problem. I will use them again, absolutely.

It went pretty well. They advised that I get a whole new unit and applied the Deal credit to the cost. The installation went well as far as I can tell, and I would use them again in the future. We bought an all new system 9000.00 + for our house. It works great. We did have a leak after all the rain. They came out right away, looked it over took full responsibility and fixed the leak with more tar outside. They also sent a dry wall guy to fix the patch in my master bedroom ceiling. I was really upset as I had just had the inside my house painted and new carpets. However, the patch is perfect fit and the dry wall technician (Doug) was very fast and super clean. I hope everything is in good working order, but it hasn't rained again. I am pretty confident it will be fine. Only con, I wish they would have checked (called or e-mailed) back to see if everything having to do with the repair was completed to my satisfaction. I would still recommend them or use them in the future.

mendo all in all the price was very reasonable.It went very well. Both technicians were very prompt and cordial. Both put on booties when they entered the condo. In both cases I received a typed invoice that explained the entire transaction. As for price, I don't know what it woouls be because the first call was a warranty call at no charge and the second call was $65.00 on a Angie's List coupon..

My husband was there to watched.. Boy was he impressed! The politeness, professionalism and skill of the service rep was outstanding. We even received an itemized checklist of what they were checking out on the unit. They we received a invoice via email thanking us for our business and recaping what they did. My husband said we will use Howard Air again and recommend them to others. This company stands out as one of the best!

It didn't go as well as I'd expected but it didn't go badly either. When I called I asked for an extra service (them to take a look at a portable A/C I was having issues with), and the person I spoke with told me that the technician would be able to take a look at it when he came. When the technician came though, he told me he didn't know anything about portable A/C units. Other than that the service itself was fine.

We had our air conditioning system replace about 3 yrs ago with Howard Air. We got the high end Trane units with the allergen removal device (electrostatic technology). At the time, I thought it was pricey, but we have kids with bad allergies and decided to go for it. The thing is full of the latest technology and has been stellar since we got it. That said, the wiring to the A/C units that was put in when the home was built in 1998 has created problems in the functioning of the units. We have had Howard Air out several times over the past 3 yrs to deal with the inferior wiring issues. The techs they send are always very professional, responsive and take the time to diagnose and fix the problem. One tech in particular, Gary, has been to our home many times and is so devoted to providing professional service, that he stayed until the evening working on a perplexing issue that was hampering the system. He stayed to fix the problem even though he ended up being late to join his family for dinner to celebrate his son's birthday. That said, we tried to get him to just leave it and come back the next day to finish up, because we didn't want him to miss his son's birthday. He insisted on staying unitl the problem was fixed. Howard Air is a great company and provides excellent service and quality products. It is important to state that the A/C units that they installed (Trane) has not been the problem. The poor quality wiring installed when the house was built is causing all our issues. Howard AIr has been excellent in handling the issues. We are now going to hire an electrician to re-run the wiring so these problems don't happen again.

Hired this company because of a coupon and good reviews. Serviceman showed up on time and performed the tune, unit needed coolant, and a couple of minor repairs were suggested. I went with most of the suggested repairs. Later that same evening the AC air handler in the attic was making tons of noise, I immediately called Howard air. Two days later they sent out another serviceman to checkout the issue, that gentleman discovered that the strap holding down the unit had not been put back on after the prior service, causing the unit to shake and make lots of noise. Strap was tightened, AC was all good. January rolls around, time for heat, the first night I go to turn it on, noise in the attic, no heat from the vents, I call Howard air. The next day a serviceman comes out, the issue was a loose wire at the air handler unit, he tried to give my wife a bill for $80, my wife didn't pay and said that I would be in contact. I called the service manager and explained the situation with the missing strap and vibrating unit and asked if that could have caused the loose wire, they eventually said "yes" and zeroed out the bill. For me, I think next time around rather than paying for a tune-up coupon, I think the better/more economical way to go is to just pay for a service call and necessary repairs.

It was great. Scheduling was very easy. I submitted the scheduling request online and they had good availability and got right back with me.They also provided an estimate on a whole new AC system. They were very professional and reputable and I went with them for the installation.

They applied the $69 towards purchase of the new unit. The purchase includes three years of free tune-ups. Installation was very smooth and there were no issues. Communication was easy and the initial person who sold the unit came out during installation and called the next day to make sure the unit was operating properly. I like the fact that they focus on HVAC needs and it’s family-owned. They seem trustworthy and have a good reputation.

He was there about 90 minutes, left everything clean, and was professional in all respects.

We did not ,use them. No faiult of company just found better deal through a friend.

It worked out very well. They were very good people. They put it in, did a nice job. They kept us apprised of what they were doing and I guess the price was fair. They apprised us of the condition of the air conditioner and recommended new one and we bought and they applied it and we paid for the service. They are laways on time and quality was excellent. All their technicians were knowledgeable. They were clean and neat and well mannered and we were happy. I would use them again in the future.
