Julio was wonderful. He was polite, helpful, explained everything, listen to my concerns, and answered my questions. His work was impeccable. The times that I talked to people on the phone at Howard Air, those people were friendly and helpful. I would most definitely use Howard Air again. Thanks Julio and Howard Air! :)
Description of Work: Julio (don't know his last name) from Howard Air identified the problem on the first visit. Howard Air was able to order the part from Trane to fix our heating unit, and Julio fixed the until on the subsequent visit.

I just had Howard Air install a new unit and duct work in my 50+ yr old house. Everyone at Howard Air was great to deal with and I couldn't have imagined the job going any better. My sales representative, Brian, did a thorough evaluation of my home and explained everything needed. He always was available by phone or email when I had questions, which is appreciated with such an investment. The install crew was just amazing. They worked non-stop all day. They were friendly, polite, respectful and clean. You couldn't even tell where they had been working when they left. The job went so well - there is honestly nothing more I could have hoped for. I am so pleased I went with Howard Air and will definitely recommend them to anyone.
Description of Work: Replaced the old rooftop AC unit, removed old evap cooler, installed new supply duct work and returns.

The technician arrived on time. After a brief tour of where HVAC components were located, he went to work. The technician kept us informed on his progress and any problems he had encountered. Overall, it was a very positive interaction.

They are good. My only complaint is that sometimes scheduling can be less than good. One time they were quite late and didn't call to let me know. They always resolve the situation, thankfully.

I called Howard Air on the hottest day of 2014 in the morning and they had a tech at my house by 2:30 that same day. I cant remember what went wrong, but it was fixed and back on track within the hour. Not only was the tech, but everyone I spoke with was absolutely wonderful to work with. I have recommended them to several friends and everyone has been pleased with them. Thank you Howard Air.

The initial installation was fine and scheduling was fine. Based on the expectations that the sales person set, those were not meant. There were about 9 total appointments due to missing pieces when it was installed, mis-measurements, or defective parts, etc. It was a hassle to get the appointments scheduled. It wasn't worth paying the extra due to the service that was provided.

We did make a rare mistake in measuring your return air filter frame. This was corrected and it did take quite a bit of coordination to get that installed due to conflicts in scheduling. We wish we can say mishaps never happen but unfortunately from time to time they present themselves. However, we feel a company should be measured by what they do after the issue is discovered. Jeff and Mike were on time and friendly and very helpful. I would recommend Howard Air to anyone who needs help with their air conditioning. Another GREAT thing is that they are local and take good care of their employees. Thank you to Howard Air.
Description of Work: They put in a new vent for the Master Bedroom, one was not enough to cool the room. It is on the SE side of the house and heats up too much. Two vents, hopefully will keep it cool. They had installed two new air conditioners and done a GREAT job. The above price includes the new air conditioners and installation.

Dealing with Howard Air was great. The only problem was with scheduling. Howard Air said that they were not notified of the purchase of the inspection service from Angies list until 3 days after the purchase. I believe the provider given the poor connectivity I experience with Angies List over the web.

Excellent service, from start of estimate provision to installation. We received quotes from 3 other service providers and one other one came close, but we decided on Howard Air, due to the suitability of the product for our needs, and their high ratings with BBB and Angie's List. Since installation, have had a couple of hiccups where the sales person is not responsive upon emailing, but hopefully, that will be rectified. Very happy with the quality of work and results so far (although it has only been a few weeks!). Would recommend them to anyone!

The initial service was really good. It was hard to get them to come back out to do some maintenance. We did some duct work we wanted them to do but they never followed up to do the work.

The technician made sure he wore the protective booties whenever entering the house. He was professional and friendly. The technician showed me 2 small problems, explained what was going on and what needed to be done to ensure my AC continues to run properly. My dogs were very calm the whole time he was here which is remarkable because he was in and out working on the units. He answered questions I had and I was very satisfied.

Technicians were prompt and professional. Cleaned up afterwards. Explains operation of new system and thermostat. They weren't the cheapest but were the only one to point out an electrical issue I was aware of.

The gentleman that came to install out system was very professional and knowledgable about what he was doing. These thermostats are not the easiest and straight forward product to install. He was on time and the price was exactly what was quoted to me to do the job. He did not try and up sell me or anything which I really appreciate.

It was a little confusing since I used the Angie's List coupon for a service call, then ended up paying another charge fix problem that was outside of the service call. Also, a 10% discount was applied to parts, but I couldn't get a breakout of what was parts and what was labor. It ended up being a total charge on top of the service call. On the plus side, the technician did have the part and fixed the problem which was capacitor that went out. The only downside was the lump sum amount to fix the problem which I feet should have been more clear on pricing for which part was the service call, parts and labor. When I called the company to have the invoice broken out to clarify, they just sent me the invoice again with the lump sum price on it. For that I will probably not use again.

He was prompt, cheerful & courteous. He inspected and repaired my Air Conditioner and recommended things we should think about replacing in the future. He took pictures of the future problem areas and recommended options we had for the problem areas. He did a Great job and cleaned up after himself. I was very happy with the work he done.
