The agent was on time, he cleaned up afterwards and appears to have done a miticulous job. The handicap of 3-4 days without heat was **** ** my arthritis. I feel if the company is going to work on a ceertain manufactors product; and there is no way to get the product, some modality ie: be able to get into the main ware house, have at least 1 of every part necessary to make the customers functionally comfort.

The receptionist booked us an appointment the next day. She recommended a service plan that would ultimately save us money with discounts on any needed repairs. The technician called before he arrived, he worked efficiently, explained what he was doing and why. The problem was solved with 3 pounds of refrigerant. Prompt, polite, knowledgable service at a decent price.

Scott, the salesman was very good at explaining what we were purchasing and what we needed. He showed up at the end of the installation job to inspect as well. That was a very nice touch. The crew was GREAT! Kyle, George & Carlos were prompt, professional and worked very hard all day to install it correctly, the first time. Kyle showed me how to use our new digital thermostat as well. They cleaned up all off the debris and old unit. All in all, a very good experience. Definitely looking forward to lower APS electric bills and a quieter, more efficient system. The new air conditioners have performed well and we have no problems with them or the installation. Though it was not explained to us at the beginning, our ten-year warranty was contingent on us also paying for the yearly service visits. It turns out that the $65 per unit ($130 per visit) service cost for the first two years only applied because the manufacturer's warranty was still in effect. We got a bill this year for the next years' service and found that it had increased to $186 per visit ($372 per year) for the two units and the lower cost service was no longer available. Not only that, but our "ten-year warranty" would be null and void if we failed to pay at least this new minimum-level service fee. There are even higher cost options ranging up to $1788 per year that would also keep our units under warranty. Of course there are no options to having Howard Air do the servicing if we want to have the warranty. This effectively adds over $3000 to the cost of our air conditioners over the ten years.

These folks are HONEST and Honorable. They are prompt and reliable-5 stars for them or more.

Good. Air returns were provided for three bedrooms and new return ducting. Airflow balance is much better.

Just completed our fall checkup with Howard Air. The technician (Troy) was knowledgeable and professional. The communication with the office was great as always.

Our Bedroom A/C wasn't working, and we recently moved into this house, so I wanted to have someone come out to check all 5 A/C units. I chose Howard Air because of the high rating on Angie's list. They offered a discounted rate (I think $39 instead of $100) for diagnostic testing. I thought that was fair, so I hired them. When the worker got here, he said that the discounted rate was for 1 unit only, and I have 5, so they charged me full price for the 4 other units. I didn't complain because it was my mistake that I didn't know I should tell them how many A/C units I had. Still, it would have been beneficial for customer satisfaction and word-of-mouth reasons to honor the lower price... but no big deal. After the worker checked all 5 A/C units, I was told that the price to get them all up to working order would be $2473.95. The bedroom unit only needed a cap of some sort, so he fixed that and left. That night, the bedroom A/C worked perfectly, but the kids' rooms on the other side of the house were not being cooled at all. Since the price was outrageous, we hired a friend of a friend (country heating and cooling) to come out and take a look. To my delight, THEY did their diagnostic testing on ALL 5 units for FREE! Then, they told me that the reason the kids' bedroom A/C wasn't working was because "somebody" (Howard air) left a cap off of that A/C unit, so it was dysfunctional. Country heating and cooling then told me that a few of the things that were on our previous diagnostic paperwork from Howard air, actually didn't need to be fixed at all. So our new total was $1127.00, and 2 months later, the A/C units have been working wonderfully. I know these guys have some great ratings, but this was quite a shady-feeling experience for our family. I wouldn't recommend Howard Air.

Very good will use Howard Air for next service he said barring any problems, service before next hot season.

We replaced both of our HVAC units last December. We got a quote from Howard Air and another company. Howard Air was a little pricier, but the person who came out to give us an estimate seemed more knowledgeable and made a good suggestion about moving the vents in two of the bedrooms to cool them more effectively. The guys who did the install were professional and quick and cleaned up after themselves. Service calls for maintenance have also been easy and the guys professional.

First rate work at only a bit of a premium in price

They do a very good job. It's covered in my homeowners warranty.

They seem to be pretty honest. It's hard to find an honest company. They seem pretty much the best as far as that goes. They need to be a little bit more straightforward about work needed. I will probably use them again.

They are absolutely excellent. I especially like their technician. I have already recommended them to other people. I intend to use them again.

They did a great job and they left some things unfinished and they could never get anybody to come out and finished those things. One of the workers loud music while he was working, the others were fine.

I think their advertising was a little misleading because I wanted them to come out and service my heating and a/c and they only serviced my heating, and it was in the spring. I've always liked Howard Air but I just think the advertisement for the special they were running was a little misleading.
