Description of Work: Installation of 2 Carrier Comfort Series 3 ton units with separate air handlers. From quote to installation was 1 week. All phases were handled in a very professional manner. I would recommend them to friends and family, and have. Extremely satisfied.

Description of Work: It was time to replace the A/C units. I got several bids including one from the vendor Costco uses. I also did my research looking at complaints via the BBB and the AZ Contractors web site. |Howard Air had an immaculate record and they were actually less money (apples to apples) than the Costco vendor. There was no upsell no silly warrantee agreements either. |The salesperson was extremely thorough with the inspections and the bids. |On the day of the install technicians showed up right on time. They were courteous, clean and efficient. The job went without hitches. The units were in and they explained fully how to operate and have been working great. |The sales person called that day and several days later again to check on our units and satisfaction |I highly recommend Howard Air. |

Description of Work: Replaced heating and cooling system in November, 2013. Problems developed in July, 2014. Several service calls later over a period of 2 1/2 weeks, the air handler was replaced. So far, it appears to be working as designed. Repairs/replacement completely covered by warrenty.

The Angie's List coupon you purchased states that it only includes "one" complete air conditioning system. We are sorry you thought the evaporate cooler also located on your roof would be included for the $98. We take a lot of pride in the hard work our technicians perform each day and the $30 discount you took advantage of is a great deal for the amount of service this includes. Description of Work: The initial visit was for a $98 AC 44-point tuneup. During said tuneup, it was discovered drain line was blocked. Cleared it for an additional $102. Very relieved the block was discovered before any damage to attic.

This prevents our customers from realizing too late that this line is restricted. This safety switch can and will prevent water from spilling onto your ceiling and causing drywall damage. Description of Work: Howard was very responsive when I called them after two of my a/c units stopped working. They came out that afternoon and fixed one unit. The other needed parts ordered but they returned and installed them three days later. Very pleasant service man, explained what was wrong and what was needed. I would use them again.

A proper install takes a few days especially when you build all the custom metal parts yourself in your own sheet metal shop. But in July that could be the difference from a great experience or a very uncomfortable one if your living in a miserable environment. Description of Work: Howard Air was on time and very professional. They performed a thorough check up on my AC.They suggested an auto system shut off if the condenser drain became plugged. Installed the shut off quickly. They did a final temp check in every room before leaving. Ps they wore shoe coverings before entering the house.

Anytime we see water building up in our ceiling and beginning to drip we assume the worst. This is why we install a condensate safety switch with "EVERY" new equipment installation. This switch will automatically turn our systems off when there is water backed up in our condensate lines to prevent water damage to our insulation and ceiling drywall. We never understood the reason why builders install air handlers/furnaces in the attic space and don't install this switch on every home.
