Description of Work: I'm very glad to have had Howard A/C service my A/C. It hadn't been serviced in a few years & there were a few minor repairs the tech had to make...at no additional charge. The tech was polite, clean & courteous. My dogs liked him & he was good with them. Not all repair techs are good with animals. If my dogs don't trust someone, neither do I.

Description of Work: This was a service call to do a check-up on an air-conditioner before summer. They checked the thermostat and offered to replace the filter inside. They checked the unit itself and made sure everything was working fine, cleaned it up, and unplugged a drainage pipe that had become clogged. |I bought this unit from Howard Air in 2013 and they have provided all service performed on it. I have not had any problems and would recommend them to anyone needing a replacement or service on an existing unit.

Description of Work: One of our units was blowing hot air. The first company that came out couldn't figure out what was going on and basically gave up. The tech from Howard Air accurately diagnosed the problem (a circuit board in the air handler), got the part that day, and installed it. It's been working fine ever since. The tech was friendly, knowledgable and did everything that could have been expected. The price of the part was really high, but that's just a sign of the times we live in, I suppose. Thanks Howard Air!

Description of Work: I purchased a new heat pump split system. I met with a sales/design specialist and selected the 2nd best system made by Carrier. This is the Carrier Infinity series. The only better system includes a variable speed compressor. The system we purchased has a two-stage compressor and a variable speed air handler. The first air handler installed was not as specified. Howard Air initially tried to replace components inside the air handler in order to make it work "like" the air handler we purchased, but could not make it work. Finally, they had to remove and replace the air handler with the correct one. | |We are eligible for a rebate from Salt River Project, but after almost two years of trying, we cannot persuade Howard Air to submit the required contractor paperwork to SRP and we have not received any rebate. This is a 19 SEER unit that cost almost ten thousand dollars. I do not understand why Howard Air continues to ignore our requests for help in obtaining the rebate. SRP performed an energy audit, and determined that our return air system is too small, but Howard disagrees and will do nothing about it, even though a new, "properly sized" return air was included in our purchase.

Description of Work: We bought a carrier heat pump and 7 inch heat strips. They were reasonably priced and were honest. We are very happy with the installation |And the the staff from beginning to end were professional and courteous. I would absolutely use them again.
