Howard Air

Howard Air technicians are always knowledgeable and professional. I have done "emergency" calls before and they are always able to have a technician out the same day. They are on the expensive side, but there is a price to quality.

I called Howard Air. They came within an hour and Troy made all of the repairs quickly. Because I am a maintenance customer I had the call waived and received a discount on the parts.

The tech arrived and repeatedly said I have never worked on one of these. Noted a broken drain pan and even though he said the pan does not affect the operation of the unit he would not do a diagnostic. He wanted to replace the drain pan before anything else. Two days later we had not heard anything from the company. I called and demanded they perform the diagnostic or refund the diagnostic fee. They offered a refund after some back and forth with plenty of excuses. Just another AC repair company that doesn't care.

The Service guy (Chris I think) came over right on time. He quickly accessed the situation (A/C fan was toast) and replaced it and a few other minor repairs to the system in about an hour and a half. He was extremely good natured and informative. We now have a maintainance plan with them which we should have done the last time they repaired the unit. Great Job!

Tech showed up on time, was pleasant, found a potential problem and fixed it under warranty. Saved us a lot of money and future suffering.

First appointment of the day, very prompt. Checked everything, found the primary starter was not working and showed me. Replaced and credited the amount I paid for the check up even though the check up was already done

They didn't show up for the appointment. We waited all afternoon. It was the first week of the heat wave and they were overwhelmed with emergency calls. They said they called, but no evidence of that on any of our 3 phones. Tech came one week later and as always, very impressed with the service. We have used this company for almost 8 years, two times a year for our condo unit check-ups and minor service. We will continue to use them.

Excellent! Daniel called before coming out. He was there within the appointment time that I was given. He was friendly and professional. He explained what he was doing and took care of the install. I had a few questions, which he answered. The price was fair.

Someone came to inspect my air conditioning unit and advised me that I didn't need a full replacement. They were on time, every time, and completed exactly what they said they would do when they did it.

Service man showed up on time. Turned out my a/c wasn't working properly and a part needed replacement. Part was replaced and unit working OK now. Paid for a package which included two service calls. Not sure what the second call is all about, but it's paid for. Service man said the next time they come out they will flush out the unit again because he did what he could during the first call. Again, not sure how I'm supposed to use the second service call that I paid for.

It went great. Wayne was very knowledgeable about my Trane units and I learned alot about how to best keep them running in the AZ heat. He was very thorough on the inspection and gave me tips to prevent critter issues with the wiring. All 3 units needed a charge and since they are older, it required R22 which is quite expensive since it's not the primary refrigerant used currently so that was the only issue from a cost standpoint. I do expect they will be running much better and more efficiently after he went through each unit so I'm sure my energy bill will pay me back in the near term. Wish I would have done it sooner!

Fine. There was no problem with the unit. I just don't take any chances with my AC. I pay for an annual maintenance service, so there was no charge for this particular visit.

I contacted Howard Air and was able to schedule someone to come to my house within a week of my call. The Sales person showed up on time I told him the scope of the work I needed done. I was concerned that he would not provide me with an itemized list of the cost of the different aspects of the service and unit but the quote was within what I expected to pay. When we tried to schedule a time for the installation he told me it would be Monday or Tuesday of the following week and that he would come by the evening of the installation and review everything with me including the thermostat and how to work it. I didn't hear from Howard Air about the specific date of the installation so I called them and it was confirmed that the installation would take place on Monday. The person who did the installation contacted me that morning and told me when to expect him. He showed up on time and I left to go to work. He did a wonderful job and even sent me pictures of my unit (it's on the roof) so that I could see everything. He left me a checklist that I was to go over with the Sales person later that night. I waited to hear from the Sales person about coming over that night to review everything with me but I never heard from him. I waited two days then sent a text message to the Sales person asking him when he would come over to review everything with me but he never responded to me. I followed up with the office staff and was sent the final paperwork which included the warranty information. Overall I'm happy with everything except the Sales process. The people I have spoken to on the phone were very polite, helpful and professional. The installer was great and I really appreciated the pictures. I was able to follow the instructions for the thermostat on my own. I do think that the Sales person should have met his commitment to me and reviewed the work done. While the good far outweighed the bad I did give Howard Air a B instead of an A for Professionalism due to the lack of follow up by the Sales person.

Howard Air's work was awesome. They did a great job at isolating and identifying the problem. due to circumstances beyond their control, ie not having a replacement part correction was unable to be made on the spot. I am confident if the part was available it would have been fixed. I finally decided to swap out the unit for a different one.

Howard Air did an awesome job in identifying the problem. The investigation was very methodical and continued after potential error was located. I would call them again without hesitation for any other AC repair.

They're the ones that installed my system. They're my exclusive provider for heating and air. As long as I stay happy with them, I'll just keep calling them back out. They always come out when they say they was.

Very good. Greg, our sales person, was punctual and very professional. He presented the options available without any pressure or any attempt to move us into a more expensive unit. He was quite helpful. And the price offered saved us $1,500 + over a quote from another company and included a new wifi Cor thermostat. The installation was nearly perfect and professional in every way. Howard Air was recommended to us and after dealing with them through the process we recommend them highly. You can't go wrong switch Howard Air.

Good we had to wait until Tues. because of the holiday but they came when we asked.
