Description of Work: David arrived within 15 minutes of appt time. He tuned up the furnace for the winter. I explained how our bedroom is colder than the rest of the house in the winter. David explained my options to correct this. He also explained how a condensate drain overflow safety switch might be a good idea to install next spring. He did not rush through our conversations. The price I was charged was the same as I was quoted when I made the appt. This was a first time visit, so it was discounted. Their standard cost is also less than my previous Heating and A/C shop. Description of Work: I called for the appointment and he was very helpful. We set a time,the driver called before arrival and he was professional. During the routine tune-up, he would answer any questions that came to mind. He got up into the attic to check the system. He spent more time outside checking the units(2) and extensively cleaning them from leaves and such. He always wore his red booties to keep my carpet clean(even if it is dirty anyway)

Description of Work: I ask how much to put in my a/c. The answer was we will not put in a/c unless we sell it to you. I have already my a/c units.

Description of Work: Did an inspection of heating unit for season. I have a contract to check air also in the Spring. They called to remind me of service, we scheduled, they were right on time and did a thorough check up. They even installed a new filter and cleaned the vent. Wonderful service, and left with recommendations for the future of reasonable additions I could consider for the future.

Description of Work: Initially we were told by another A/C company that our compressor needed to be replaced. We called Howard Air for a second opinion, so they came to our house to perform a diagnostic before we proceeded with replacing the compressor. Shane walked us through the entire process and discovered that we did not need to replace the compressor, which was estimated at $3500. Rather, there were just some minor parts that needed to be replaced. Shane also refilled our freon. Total charge was $315. Significantly less than what the first company told us. Shane was very thorough, friendly, knowledgeable and honest. If you need work done on your A/C, call Howard Air and request Shane! Not only is Shane a great asset to Howard Air, but the individual who set up our appointment was courteous and professional. Characteristics that many businesses lack these days.
