It was good. I liked it. They've been doing it twice a year for about 8 years. They do a good job. They were very good.

I spent $150.They opened up my ducts and cleaned them out with a brush and vacuum.

I would not use them again. I felt that the technician recommended things that I did not need. I have a question whether I actually needed a new contactor. The AC unit is only two years old. The service man was quite nice and very chatty but I think he was trying to sell a load. I asked him to give the old contactor because I wanted to look at it but he did not do that. I think that they should show me whatever they replaced but they failed to do that.

The service went great. They are very good. We had them for our air conditioner and our office air conditioner. I’ve used them for both locations and they've always been excellent. They always come out if they have an air conditioning emergency. They always take care of us quickly. All the service guys that had come out and had taken care of us from Hobaica have been well trained. They were very knowledgeable and very polite. They are very neat. They always put on their booties before they come in and keep everything clean.

They do regular maintenance. The price covers maintenance 3 times a year.

Their technicians are very nice and friendly. I appreciate that they work for the company and are not subcontractors. Going over the report after the energy audit did feel (and was) a sales pitch, but I liked that they were able to show my photos of my ductwork and the issues found, rather than just telling me about it. They were able to find a product that met my needs and had a decent rebate program. The install went well. I work at home so I was concerned about noise and banging around, but it was fairly quiet. They have come out for their follow up and showed me the improvements from what I was dealing with before. I can now use my living room where in the past I was not able to sit in there in the summer due to heat. My whole home is comfortable and I've seen a reduction in energy usage from July 2013 to July 2013 in the year over year comparison.

It went very well. We have use Hobaica Services many times and they are very professional and do an excellent job. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing A/C servicing.

Hobaica has been servicing my a/c for the past couple of years. They do a good job and are profeessional. I've been on a regular monthly payment plan with them for two or three years.

First off I called around to a couple of different places and Hobiaca were the ones that stated that they could come out between 3-7 pm. This was great because I have a 2 yr old and a wife who is pregnant and the temps outside were getting to 105 degrees. I waited around until 7 pm and no one had shown up. I realize sometimes you get stuck at jobs longer in this business, so I decided to call the service to see if there was an ETA on when they would get out to my home. They have an after hours answering service which is nice, but no one answered and the message stated that they would get back to me within 15 minutes. Long story short I called again and no answer and on the third time I called (roughly 9pm), I told them that I would be using their services anymore. Well after I said that they called back within minutes and tried to get a technician out to my house, but unfortunately we had already booked a hotel for the evening and I wasn't going to go back at 9 pm. The next morning I called them back to have them come out and look at my unit. They told me I was next on the list and finally a technician cam out at 1 pm. The technician (Phil) was great. He was very professional and talked me through everything. He was a straight shooter and told me I would need to replace my unit soon and that I should start getting bids together. The next day my unit died again, so I put $400 into one day of cool air.

They were very punctual, courteous, and I would recommend them. All of their service men are polite and seem very experienced.

Gr eat service. They called ahead prior to showing up so I would not have to sit waiting all day for them. They met their committed time window. I will be using them for duct leak check and repair and all future service. Andy the tech was great and scheduling the service was easy and they were always courteous.

We have lived in the house for 20 years, but the upstairs unit had never cooled properly. The A/C would run constantly during the summer, but the room temperature would never drop below 85-87 degrees!! We got a total of 7 estimates from companies listed on the APS contractors list to install two (2) new HVAC units. Only 3 of the companies even bothered to do a load analysis and "manual J" calculation. Hobaica was one of these which did. Jeff arrived on time, seemed very knowledgeable, professional, and never tried to "upsell" me whatsoever. However, he never climbed up into the attic to inspect the ductwork for leaks/problems. The price quoted seemed fair and reasonable. Overall, I was very impressed with Hobaica and they were my 2nd chocie to hire. They just didn't seem quite interested or willing eenough to inspect/seal all the ductwork in the attic, which later proved to be a large part of our cooling problem.

They were very good. It was a very good experience.

Overall, they did a good work and I will continue to use their services again in the future.

I will use Hobaica again and will recommend them to anyone who needs an air-conditioning service.

Initially, we used Hobaica for an AC tune-up because we had heard great things about them and we wanted to ensure our AC was running as efficiently as it could. After their $75 tune-up, the AC seized the function. We called the next day and they sent someone that day to look it over. He determined our compressor was shot and noted that our duct work was pretty old and would probably need some work if we wanted a new unit. The following day a comfort advisor was sent to provide us a quote on a replacement AC unit. He never actually entered the house, however because another AC company was still here providing their quote. He seemed very ticked off that we would have someone else at our house at the same time. None of the other companies (4 in total) seemed to care. The man who showed up for the estimate also claimed he had called my spouse just minutes prior who said he was at the store and no other contractors were at the house. This is untrue, my spouse was never called on that date and was at work when this man arrived at our home. Of the other AC companies who came they all agreed our compressor was old, but working and our duct work was just fine. Everything totalled together gives me bad feelings about Hobaica considering they lied about talking to my spouse, they misdiagnosed the compressor and the air ducts, and it was after their simple tune up that our previously functioning AC stopped working.

I pay them yearly. They are professional and my overall experience with them has been excellent.

The sale/install was pleasant enough except the crane they used to move the units left a huge ditch in my front yard that had to subsequently be filled with dirt. Then after one of the big monsoons my AC return starting leaking water into the hallway. I called them back out and they told me I needed a new roof and it wasn't their fault. So I had a new roof put on as soon as I could afford to, which was not for another couple of years...I battled a leaky hallway the whole time and then I started having leaks in other parts of the house (eventually I had to completely replace the ceiling in my guest room from the water damage). After I had the new roof installed the return STILL leaked. When the roofing company came back out they showed me where Hobaica had not properly sealed the new return to the roof; the metal was bent and twisted at the base of the elbow and it had been covered with tar that had rotted and beenworn away. I called them back out again but this time one of the owners came (this was now 2009). He offered no other solutions so I basically have been crawling up on the roof with a bucket and reapplying tar to the area to prevent future leaks. I didn't want to do business with them again so when it came time to have it serviced this year for winter I called another company out to look at it. The repair man was just here and when he opened up the unit he found the owner's manual sitting on top of the burners where it could have caught fire...it was covered in 7 years of dust (Hobaica had serviced the unit a few times after it was installed and never once found that, which makes me wonder what they actually did on my roof since I didn't go up there with them to watch). He also showed me where the installer used a 12 gauge 20 amp wire to connect a 40 amp fuse which he explained is also a fire hazard. I had already decided to not use them again awhile ago but after seeing more evidence of their sloppy work, I am even less impressed.

Service desk was courteous and responsive. I recieved a call on the day before telling me that the technician would be out on the following day between the hours of noon and three PM and technician would call when he/she was in route. Technician called as promised and arrived shortly after. Technician introduced himself and asked for details on the unit. Technician was professional, courteous and dressed appropriately. Technician reported the status of the unit as generally good but that the compressor was drawing high amps (near 20A and rated at near 20, normal should be about half that) and he needed to replace the compressor/condenser start/run capacitor. He said that he had a generic replacement that has been used on many jobs that comes highly recommended and I could get a discount if I agreed to sign up for an annual inspection contract. I agreed and the technician replaced the capacitor. The technician reported that the amp draw on the compressor had dropped after replacing the capacitor and I noticed the the unit sounded quieter. I was charged $249 for the capacitor, I checked on line and found an exact match at Insco Distributing Inc. for $66.99.

Raud, the representative, was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and answered all questions we had. He made himself available for follow-up questions and was very professional. He even went out of his way to be present with our insurance adjuster for the inspection. In the end, we did not go with Hobaica, but it was no reflection on how they handled the bidding and pre-sale process. It all came down to a decision based mostly on our preference of technology and somewhat on price (although that was secondary). Although, I marked that I wouldn't use them again, that is basically because of our personal technology preference for the A/C unit. That may not apply to everyone. I would recommend them. They seem very customer service-oriented. My neighbor used them and was very happy.

Out the several estimates that we got to replace our units, Hector from Hobaica was the only person to explain what the differences were between the various units available so that we could make an intelligent and informed decision regarding our purchase. Their follow up has been fantastic. We have since had their team out to service our second unit. Very professional and have earned my respect and business.

Needed to replace 2 20+ year old heat pumps. Contacted 6 companies total for estimates, of that 2 were no shows. I got Hobaica's name from a friend who's mother had used them for a unit replacement 3-4 years ago and was happy with the results. They were very helpful with the process, the comfort advosor came to the house twice to go over options and was very professional. Of the companies that actually showed up Hobaica was the most professional and complete. They had 4 installers come and they were there basically all day. All very nice, clean and helpful. Did a great job of cleanup. When it came to price they were a about $500 more per unit than the others we spoke with but it was worth the service we got along with the comfort of knowing we used a company that has been here for a long time and will be there when we need them.

I was having trouble finding a good heating and air conditioning company. Then I used Hobaica Services because my daughter has been using them for years. Even her friends use them. They fixed the problem that I didn?t know I had with my units. They had to do some metal work on them. They also had to figure out a way for me to change the filter easily. They presented me with several different options. They put in filter that didn?t need changing very often. They will change the filters when they come back, as per the service contract. It was a pretty big job. I got my money?s worth because the units are currently working as they are supposed to. Now, everything is working better than it had before. The units are saving me a lot of money on my electricity bills.

They are professional, responsive and punctual. The quality of their work is good and I have been satisfied with their service.

They came on time and they were pretty honest. Their quality of work and responsive were good. They gave a time frame and they called in if they were running late. They were a little expensive compared to other people whom I called, but they were worth it.
