Unprofessional and rude CEO, recommend going to another company. Took several visits during covid-19 pademic to measure and get order placed. Installation was messy, two guys in work boots in and out and no booties while inside leaving homeowner with a mess to clean. Shutters were not made as ordered, follow up appointment to fix was wasted trip, again during covid-19 pademic. Tech didn't come prepared and also left dirty footprints all over for homeowner to clean. Tech went to Home depot and returned hours later "prepared" but since outside of scheduled appointment homeowner had work commitments. CEO is rude and non apologetic.

, This is the second time i used Heritage. There is definately room for a new competitor in this sector. Earlier in theyear I ordered from another firm, as the prices were similar and, even though I thought the quality may be better at Heritage, I felt the VP Sales was rude and a little arrogant, so I ordered from the other firm. However, 8 weeks later when I inquired on installation date, the other company "forgot" to place my order. So I reluctantly gave the order to Heritage. They were also late, but the quality is good. This time I went directly to Heritage. Now that i am inquiring on my installation date, there are no return calls, noone answers the phone, and I am quite upset. I am surprised that in such a large Metro like Phoenix, there is not a quality firm to fill this gap.
Description of Work: Replacement and new stain grade shutters.

As mentioned above this is not a company that is concerned for a consumer. This is family run and they all need a lesson in how to work and talk to customers and treat them. As for the quality - on some windows it was ok and others not too good. I just was fed up with all that happened so I did not pursue this any further.
Description of Work: This company has very rude employees. The salesman was a young man who was cocky and when called about the problem he was very rude and hostile. Cell phones are business phones too and to him it was not the case after 5 pm. When they first brought out the shutters they forgot to paint the lower half so back they went. Once installed I noticed rough finishes on the wood and on one of my sliding doors it was uneven and was told nothing could be done about it. I called the Registrar of Contractors for help because I called and called after the installation and they would not respond. They certainly responded once they received the complaint from them. Had one of the owners relatives come out and he fixed some things but can't say he was any better. He would not replace the sliding door shutters and said it was not considered that bad. I was so disgusted with this outfit. I wrote in a complaint awhile back and it was never noted so I am writing this again. This is a family run business and they are not reputable. This was a whole house shutter installation.

Overall experience was not good. Salesman was very rude when I tried to get the problems resolved and when I called customer service they too just would not return my calls. Got tired of being pushed around so I contacted the Registrar of Contractors and that got them to come out and fix some of the problems. One shutter is still warped and another one still does not look neat and you can see through the trimwork and caulking. Several shutters are still not up to what I expected. They have a rough finish but I would not have them come back to my house because they just give you the run-around and say you can fix it yourself.
Description of Work: Order came unfinished and had to go back. Called salesman about the problem on his cell phone and he became very rude and was totally unprofessional. Said he would take care of problem in the morning. Did not. Work finally completed but needed repairs so called many times and no call backs. Had the Registrar of Contractors take care of it and they made them fix the repairs needed.

THEY FIT THE SHUTTERS IN OUR HOUSE AND DID AN EXCELLENT JOB MEASURING AND INSTALLING THE SHUTTERS. THEY WERE RESPONSIVE AND FINISHED THE JOB ON TIME.
