piano tuning
 + -1 moreI'm very happy with the service Scott provides. My piano isn't anything amazing, but I'm learning how to play and so far it has served me well. The first visit I had from Scott was because a key was getting stuck in a down position and the piano was overdue for a tuning. By the time Scott arrived the stuck key issue apparently fixed itself, but Scott replicated what happened as soon as I told him what it was and he explained that the humidity from the rain had caused it. He was able to correct the problem without any trouble and charged me the standard price for the tuning. Scott is a registered piano technician who was recommended to me by my previous piano tuner (who had to move to TX), so I'm certain he's qualified and knows what he's doing. The price is very reasonable and I'm happy to recommend him.
Description of Work: Scott visited my home and tuned the piano as part of a regular 2/year visit. He arrived promptly at the scheduled time and was very professional. Previous visits were straight forward, however this last time he noticed the piano was playing sharp and asked if I played it alone or with other instruments. Since I only play it alone it wasn't that big a deal and he performed his usual service for $105. Overall it took about an hour and then Scott scheduled the next 6 month tuning in advance.
