HANDYMAN NETWORK

Bid approved w/i 72 hr window via phone. Asked that the estimator/handyman, Ross, call regarding timing of demo/work (OOT 3/23 thru 3/30). No return call. Called the office again mid week and left a second msg. No return call; however, we were told there was a death in his family. No return call. On our third atmpt to schedule, the office staff scheduled the work to begin on 4/2, the Monday post our vac, and said they would coord all dtls with Ross. Two wks lapsed from the est date of 3/8 to 3/23. On 3/23 (on vac at 3pm) at 9:30am rec call from a supervisor, Mike, implying that we had worked a deal with our orig handyman and the figures on the bid were for "a side job" because it was considerably under bid. Ross no longer w/Company. We confirmed the dimensions and went through bid details. They VOIDED the 3/8 bid and came out to re-bid the job. No changes made to line items; ONLY THE PRICE on 3/23 Mark (new handyman) quoted $3200 from office-IT DOUBLED! 3/8 bid w/attorney for review.

WORK WAS DONE AS REQUESTED WITH THE EXCEPTION OF ADDING UPGRADE TO OUTLET TO SUPPORT REFRIGERATOR. WORK WAS VERY GOOD, HOWEVER THE HANDYMAN HAD CONTINUAL DELAYS AND PERSONAL ISSUES THAT REQUIRED NUMEROUS RESCHEDULES AND CHANGES IN MY FAMILY'S PLANS. WORK THAT SHOULD HAVE TAKEN 2 DAYS TOOK 14.

DID A GREAT JOB. CANNOT TELL THAT THE SHELVES WERE AN ADDITION. BLEND IN WITH WALL AND LOOK LIKE THEY HAVE ALWAYS BEEN THERE. VERY PROFESSIONAL AND GOOD CRAFTSMANSHIP.
