tHandyman Connection came out first to give a bid on the project and the day of met me at HomeDepot to help me pick out the door and materials needed to complete the project. I decided to keep my current security door and all of the door knobs and deadbolts (as they were brand new). Our Handyman Frank had to first remove the old security door, and the old front door. The new front door went in pretty quickly, but recycling my security door proved to be a bigger project as the frame had shifted and it didn't line up properly to lock. He got all of that fixed, and working perfectly, and was able to keep the old door bell functional too. My house was built in the 70s so I was worried about having to replace it. Really excellent work, and I would ask for Frank by name with future projects.

Went well until he left and I noticed that the towel bars were not even. Got out my level, and my eyes were not decieving.

CAME OUT TO GIVE AN ESTIMATE AND NEVER SUBMITTED A BID. NEVER HEARD A WORD FROM THE COMPANY. WILL FIND SOMEONE ELSE TO COMPLETE THE JOB.

We have a sunroom that was oddly connected to the master bathroom by a door. Handyman connection covered the odd-ball doorway with dry wall, refinished the wall on both sides with texture and painted. Done in 2 days. Great job!

Allen gave us an estimate and was also the project coordinator. He was very professional and easy to work with. Never had a problem getting in touch with him. Dave, the craftsman that did the majority of the work, was very friendly, very knowledgeable, and always showed up on time. He answered all our questions, and did an excellent job. We would highly recommend using Handyman Connection! We will definitely use them again in the future.

From the start, Allen, who provided the estimate and coordinated the project was very responsive. He remained quick to respond to phone calls and emails throughout the project. In his bid he provided a materials allowance and gave us the option of buying our own materials or to allow them to purchase the materials for us. He provided a list of vendors for plumbing, electrical, cabinets and counter tops. We chose to purchase most of the materials ourselves and used some of the vendors he suggested along with other vendors we researched and selected ourselves. The craftsmen for each of the trades were professional and courteous. There were a few times when there was a lack of communication or a miscommunication between Allen and the craftsmen. But nothing that created a problem that wasn't corrected quickly. The only problem that had to be corrected after most of the work had been done was adjusting the closet opening so that it was square and trimming the sliding doors so that they closed evenly. We are very pleased with the results of the project. It came out like we envisioned it.

The gentleman was very polite and accommodating. He went out and got the materials that were needed and the job was done efficiently. i was very pleased.

the handyman gave me a quote for the service. I agreed and the handyman went to buy the necessary parts and returned within a half hour to complete the repair.

Bob not only showed up on time but he was early. He called the night before to confirm and I added an additional item and he remembered. The level of professionalism was so great. I'm a single woman who lives alone and he made sure I had his card as he entered to identify himself and walked me through everything he was doing and what it would cost. I appreciated that he bought my replacement garbage disposal that was made in the USA and left me all the warranty items. I was on the phone for work while he was fixing things and he was so respectful and courteous. I know that can be challenging and I appreciated how kind he was. This is not the cheapest handyman service out there but you get what you pay for. I'm not sure if I can request Bob if I have future needs but I would if I could. At any rate I would use this company again and they are great!

We were able to schedule an estimate for 5/8/15. But, I received a call the day before that they had to reschedule because the person they assigned wasn't able to make it. They rescheduled for 5/12/15. I received a confirmation email that confirmed my 5/12 appointment at 8AM. . 5/12/15: I received a call from the gentleman assigned to my estimate at 8:04AM stating he would be there in approximately 20 minutes. I asked what the reason for the delay was and he stated the time frame was from 8AM to 9AM. I double checked the email and the email confirmed 8AM. There was no range. When he arrived, he reviewed the work and gave me an estimate. 6/2/15: He arrived on time (8AM) and started working quickly. He came and fixed the fence by replacing the wood slats. It looks good. And, he cut out a piece of drywall to leave access for the Howard Air - another repair. He finished about two hours earlier than estimated. The next appointment was scheduled for 6/5 where he will place the drywall back on the wall and work on some electrical stuff. 6/5/15: He thought he would be running late and called to let me know, which I appreciated. But, he showed up on time. All work was completed as expected. 6/11/15: It was the first time I had been back to the house since the 6/5/15 visit and saw the doors to a cupboard he had worked on didn't close properly. I made a call to correct and we scheduled a follow-up appointment for 7/10/15. 7/10/15: The gentleman arrived on time as a follow-up appointment to fix the doors to the cupboard that didn't close. He stated that we couldn't adjust the doors any more and would have to push harder on the door to fix the issue. He showed us how to remove the doors, which was helpful. After he left, though, we removed the doors and were able to fix the issue ourselves. Overall, I would probably use this company again because I appreciated the overall responsiveness. However, I will probably shop around for estimates next time.

He did a great job. They even came out on a holiday. They were quick and professional, and I would recommend them to anyone. They had excellent customer service and kept me up to date with the appointment and who they were sending out.

They were supposed to email us back a quote and they never did. We never did hear back. It was a small job but we never did get an email from their quote. The lack of responsiveness kind of covers it all. Obviously, they didn't want the business. None of it was good because they didn't give us a quote so we didn't use them.

Ceiling fan was wobbling like crazy. It couldn't be balanced and it appeared that the entire ceiling box was loose. I assumed that the previous owners had installed a fan on a regular box not one made to support a ceiling fan. With limited attic space access I didn't want to have to deal with tearing out a box and replacing it myself so I hired the work out. Handyman Connection was the only company that I could find that was willing to offer a fixed price job quote. All the others were hourly (~ $75/hr) with vague estimates on time. I had an 8am appointment... which they were late making (by an hour). Not a big deal for me as I work out of the house. Also don't believe it was the handyman's fault... seemed like a scheduling glitch where they gave him an earlier call across town. He took a look at the fan and then called the office to confirm a quoted price. If the price came back too high - I could have said no thanks and cancelled at no cost to me. Price was reasonable for the work I thought they'd have had to complete. So we agreed and work started. It ended up that the box was secured fine... the problem was that the screws used to hold the fan to the box were stripped and had loosened up enough that the whole fan was moving. The threads in the box were stripped so he used nuts and bolts to secure the fan to the box. This is the area where I knocked them to a B for quality of work. He didn't use lock washers so I'm expecting that over time with normal vibration of a fan the screws are going to loosen and I'll have to fix it again. Also made a few marks on the ceiling from his drill (hard not to) but he didn't have any ceiling paint to touch up the marks. Not huge issues but not an A grade.

It went great. You can find this service for cheaper, but these do a great job. Very professional and knowledgeable. I had purchased a replacement garbage disposal and the guy recommend that I just keep the old one as it was still in good condition. Saved me a couple hundred dollars that I feel like most companies would have not recommended.

I hate to write a bad review because the guy was super nice. However, he got the wrong address from his office and was about 30 minutes late, it took an additional 20 minutes to get the bid. I was very late to work and had to stay late. I also had to sign the bill and approval before seeing the finished work. The price seemed a little high for just a few hours of work, I also didn't like that the materials were not in the bid and would be added to the bid. I am sure that's pretty standard but the job should of taken less than an hour. He was nice enough to prime the board for me because I did not want to pay for painting. God knows how much that would of cost additionally. He did a pretty good job but he used butt joints instead of miter joints. It looks pretty unprofessional. Also, there is a gap about 1/4 to 1/2 inch at the corner joint. *UPDATE After this review the company contacted me and insisted they wanted to make things well, they sent a new handy man "Dennis" who was awesome. showed up early, his work was perfect. Took great time and skill. it looks amazing. I would recommend if you use this company to request Dennis. He is a craftsman and a professional. I changed my grade from an d to a B just because it took two trips to get the work done correctly. I would use company again but only with skilled craftsman like Dennis.

called to let me know he was on the way, arrived on time, I explained what I wanted , he laid out the job quoted me a price that was agreeable, Bob did a excellent job, cleaned up the work area, very happy with the finished job, Bob is a excellent worker and very professional will use again and refer to friends

It went good. He made two runs to the store. I was able to schedule the appointment in short notice and the job was done well.

Overall a great experience. Bob was great to work with! However, the one thing that we are struggling with is how to dispose of the construction debris like the broken pieces of granite, etc. We now have a big pile on our side yard and have to try and load it into the back of our SUV and haul it to the dump. It would be most beneficial if the debris could be taken by the provider in his truck for an additional fee. It is going to be quite challenging for us to do this ourselves.
