We were going to install tile that looked like wood in our house. Jonathan convinced us to go with the engineered wood. We have 2 big dogs and had them when he came over for the inital consultation. In fact he was throwing the toy for them and watching them run across our carpet/tile all the while saying "oh yeah this flooring will hold up just fine even with the dogs. These wood floors even have a warranty." However he never mentioned this warranty excluded EVERYTHING from dogs (first on the list) to high heeled shoes to chairs with wheels, oh yeah it also excluded water.....part of the area we were putting this flooring in was the kitchen. He never mentioned any of that. He refused to return our phone calls when after 2 days we had EXCESSIVE scratching. We even sent him a picture so that he would know we were not exaggerating. After 3 MONTHS of tying to contact him and unanswered phone calls he finally answered a phone number he didn't recognize. He was obviously ignoring us. When we finally did get him over to our house 3 months later, he all but admitted that this was not how the floors were supposed to hold up and we could take it up with the manufacturer if we wanted to. Jonathan refused to stand behind his product or what he told/promised us. The manufacturer was completely unresponsive and didn't even care that Jonathan was mis representing his product. The caulking is starting to pull away from the wall in many areas he refuses to even address this. While he was here he said he would send some one over to fix that but he never did. He then continued to ignore our calls. He refuses to do anything. To this day the flooring has not been in our house even a year and yet it looks like its been there for 10 years. We put alot of money into our floors and saved for five years to get the floors done. It is very disappointing and frustrating. I recommend you go with someone else. Jonathan not only won't stand behind his product but he refuses to return your phone calls once he knows there is a problem.
