Dorene has been our property manager for two Phoenix rentals for literally decades and has been an invaluable asset! We live out of town, and she has always acquired top-notch, multi-year tenants who pay on time and have been responsible with our properties. Leases are always detailed, protective of both parties, and generated professionally and efficiently with the latest digital technology enabling contracts to be signed on-line in an efficient seamless manner. She is an excellent liaison between ourselves and our tenants and over the years, has established a team of home technicians, handymen, housekeepers, etc. to assist with maintenance and repairs. Two years ago, she stepped up and showed her tremendous realty skills in putting one of our houses on the market. With her professional photos, description, advertising across platforms, and negotiating skills… she sold our home, over the asking price. Honest, responsible, reliable, knowledgeable and friendly. Dorene is wonderful! I still live in Japan, and when the previous tenant (whom Dorene also found for me) moved out, of course I asked her to handle the transition again this time, too. She got all of the fixing up done quickly by the contractors she uses, oversaw everything for me, sent me the necessary paperwork by email, and then got my house listed, all within a month! She found me a great new tenant, with rent competitive with current market conditions. Dorene took care of my fully furnished condos in Tempe, AZ while I was away without a beat missing. When it finally came to the sale of the house she was able to get a buyer to pay what we asked for. We used Dorene a few years ago to write a new lease for our existing tenant. We live in a different state. She was very responsive and thorough. Years later, the tenant was moving out and it was time to sell the property. She did the move out inspection with the tenant which turned out to be a lot more tense than we would have expected. She was extremely professionally and we were thankful we had her on site handling this for us. After move out, she helped us find a person to "re-hab" the house, who was excellent. She charged 10% of her contractors work for managing the process and it was definitely helpful to have her doing that. During that process she put her sign in the yard, which at first we were leery of doing, but decided to follow her advice. It was quite useful because we were able to judge the demand for the house before putting it up for sale. Finally, just a few weeks after the tenant had moved out, the house went on the market, and a month later we closed! She was very communicative during the process, keeping us advised, helping us understand what things we should or should NOT worry about. We were very happy with her service.

Dorene was professional, imaginative and dedicated to selling my home. After I moved to Tucson, she stayed involved to the point of regularly visiting the home to spruce it up and to see that it showed well. She stayed involved when a pipe burst by bringing in a trusted plumber. She was available to me by phone and cheerfully and diligently kept connected from start to finish. She did a superb job.

I left the country about a year ago handing over my furnished medium to high end rental properties that I used to property manage to Dorene. There is no one who will do this amount of work with you as a property manager and do the extended amount of detail. I also do not know (I searched for a while) of any other company who will do property management for a furnished unit. Her company was able to rent out my properties on back to back leases without any down time or loss of money to high profile tenants who have kept my unit in top shape for quick turnover. It must be known as well that I am extremely picky about everything as so much money is invested with these properties, but she is on my level and communicates effectively. She actively tells me all steps during her process to ensure that during high season that I rent my property for the highest price possible as I had done in the past. Dorene and her company really made the impossible possible for me. Her practices are 100% legitimate and I know this as a prior property manager myself. Lastly I must say property management is a two way street, you have to be a high caliber client to receive her company's services by being reasonable to work with. You don't have to be knowledgeable about property management to receive their services, but you do have to be someone who they can work with as well. I fully endorse this company for all property management services. If you want high quality property management go with Dorene's Company hands down.

She did a fantastic job at arranging great contractors to do great work on both rentals - and then found tenants for both rentals that are just right. Doreen is determined, hard-working, professional and very personable to work with. She has my highest recommendation!

I worked with Dorene for amount a month as we remodeled our rental unit in preparation for a new tenant. Dorene explained the process and offered suggestions for the property. Once complete, Dorene was very prompt in having the unit listed in all the right places and helped us with all the necessary leasing documentation. A tenant was placed in the unit very quickly with all the appropriate background checks. Dorene was helpful, informative and very responsive. Updates were provided on a regular basis as we moved through the process. This is our first time through this process and Dorene may our overall experience very positive for a very reasonable commission. We will continue to work with Dorene to manage the property and for any future tenant needs.

I have been using First Road for over 3 years and would not think of using anyone else for my two rentals. Dorene is as good as it gets, both tenants pay on time and the one renewal that has come up extended for another year (Both were 2 year leases to start.) The other contacted me last month requesting a 2 to 3 year extension. She really does her homework getting tenants that meet the income requirements and checks their past ratings with other landlords. I cannot say enough good things about her and the service she provides. I only gave a B on price because I am pretty frugal.

She showed up on time. She communicated with me as landlord and with tenants. She was easy to talk to.

Dorene and crew remodeled my small, 2 bedroom, 1 bath rental home. She helped me select paint colors and fixtures. She provided estimates from her work crews and told me when to make payments to keep the work going. Although it took longer than anticipated, there was a lot to do in each room of the house. Dorene also took the photographs and posted the advertisements. She even confronted a conman on Craigslist. She vetted a good tenant and provided lease paperwork. Dorene is a real pro.
