Description of Work: I had a HACAC unit put in back in 2012 and I would not recommend this company. The installation of the AC, they did 2 faulty welds that we didn’t find out about until 2 years later.

Description of Work: I contacted a salesperson at a Maricopa Home Show at UOP Stadium, because I knew we would soon have to replace our air conditioner. He stated that all the units sold by Emmet Air would be eligible for Federal tax credit. | |A couple of weeks later, our unit quit completely, and I called the salesperson, who was helpful in getting us a unit installed. The installers left a piece that made the whole house smell like plastic burning. Thankfully, they hadn't left yet and it was quickly remedied. The installers said I would hear something about the tax credit in a couple of weeks. | |After a couple of weeks, I tried to get more information from Emmet about the tax credit. I was told the salesperson was no longer with the company, and they couldn't help me. I researched what I would need to do, and found that the SEER rating was too low to get the credit. I was disappointed, needless to say. | |Over the next couple of years, my wife stated that our electric bill should be much less than what it was, and she thought the unit ran way too often. However, I didn't know what to do about it. | |Finally, the unit stopped working altogether. We called another company to diagnose the problem. He showed my wife where an incomplete welding job was done during installation, leaking all the coolant from the system over time. When we called Emmet, we were told the installation was past the warranty period and we had no recourse. | |Needless to say, we do not recommend Emmet Air.

Description of Work: Replaced AC with new unit, which operated properly for a while, then the unit failed, Called and they sent Rep. who checked unit, did not find problem (removed 2lb freon), left - unit failed again. Called again, found real problem (left without saying anything). Called office, they said problem bad fan, ordered part, replaced part several days later. But didn't put freon back, so unit didn't cool properly for several months. Called several times, until they finally came back and added most of the freon back. Rep. attempted to charge for service/freon, I had talked to the Office and said I was not paying for their errors. |

Description of Work: For air conditioning, it was Emmet. We haven't actually used them yet. We've gotten estimates from them. It was a commercial work to place evap coolers on a commercial building. They were replacing with heat pumps.

Description of Work: I used Emmet Air to put some weather stripping in to quiet down a noisy system.

Description of Work: I used Emmet Air to replace both air conditioners and furnaces.

Description of Work: I call them once or twice a year to come and do some preventive maintenance on my furnace and air conditioner. They are the ones who installed the units in my 2400 square foot home, and when they make an inspection they check the filters and make sure they work properly.

Description of Work: Replaced Rooftop A/C and heating unit.

Description of Work: Put in a whole new heat pump system.

Description of Work: FOUND INDOOR FAN MOTOR TIME RELAY BAD, REPLACED RELAY WITH FAN RELAY AND CHECKED OPERATION OF UNIT.
