Several delays, some weather related, some for unclear reasons; but we were kept mostly informed.

Duane Forstie was very helpful, punctual and professional. We had to reschedule once due to unexpected rain, but everything worked out. Duane also came back after completion to inspect the roof since subsequent rain caused some white residue. Six months on, and everything is fine.

Flat roof was done for the entire roof but they failed to address the real reason of the leaky roof. They made the previous owner of the house to purchase expensive coating of the flat roof by making him believe that this will solve the leaky roof problem. The rel problem was the leaking from flashing area. I tranferred the warranty to my name as a new homeowner but when I called them about the leaky roof they stated that they did not repir flashing area.

Great! They were prompt and thorough in estimating the costs, and the work was completed on time and at the estimated cost. The workers were friendly & helpful throughout the job. We had some questions and concerns about the completed job which they addressed to our complete satisfaction. We would definitely recommend them. This is our second experience with them and had a positive experience both times.

I'm very impressed with them. I investigated them. They did not have anything with the Registrar of Contractors. Everything that I looked at rated them well. They explained everything to me. I had a couple of others give me bids on the roof. They were a little bit higher, but they were more inclusive. When I told them that there was only so much that I could afford, they did go down on the price for me. I was going ahead and compromising quality. They've done an excellent job. They went ahead and did good prep. They went ahead and made sure that everything that could possibly be sprayed by the foam, because it's a foam process, was covered with plastic. They went out of their way to go ahead and adjust anything. The last time I had it done was 10 years ago and I was finding foam all over the yard. They cleaned up yesterday. They came to finish the job today and cleaned up. They clean up every time they have been here. I don't have anything to complain about. They went ahead and cleaned the entire roof surface, they removed any unused piping or anything up there that was unnecessary, they removed all of the foam blisters from the old area and they took out my scuppers, which are drainage and they redid them underneath. They basically go ahead and scrape over your old foam so that the new foam property adheres. They removed my air conditioner, went ahead and foamed underneath it and reset it on new redwood pieces, they applied the foam, they went ahead and filled in all my low areas so that drainage is proper to my gutters. They will apply two full coatings of elastomeric coating. They issued me a five year renewable warranty on all labor, materials and against leak. I get a free annual inspection, every year. It says, anything that is wrong they will redo it at their cost. They were honest about everything I could talk to them.

They responded very quickly and repaired the damage. I was very appreciative of their speedy response.

For roofing I used Durafoam. What stood out the most about their service is that they are just very, very thorough. It is a specialty coating that gets put on homes on roofs in Arizona and they did an excellent job. They kept the place clean and all of that. Overall I would grade them an 'A' plus if I could. The quality was definitely an 'A'.

The job was delayed due to the January frosts and rain but was completed quickly and cleanly once a date was given. I inspected the roof two days after the re-coating was done and all the repairs I noted had been done and the coverage and color met my expectations. I will use Durafoam again since the result was very professional.

They scheduled the investigatory visit for the day after they received the call. The rep came on time and did a thorough inspection of the leak area and the rest of the flat roof (at our request). He clearly explained what we needed and gave us a price. After our acceptance, the repair started within 2 days. The repairmen were polite, friendly and professional. They even covered our swimming pool with plastic so no debris would fall in it. The job was completed on time and the cost was exactly as estimated. We have had hard rain since then and the roof did not leak.

I phoned Durafoam and Lance came out to provide an estimate. He was extremely professional and answered all of my questions. They scheduled the job to be done and the roofers came out on two different days but were unable to spray because it was too windy, so they re-scheduled. Once the wind died down, they returned and completed the job. They were very professional, cleaned up everything and I was given a 10-year warranty. I was very happy with their work and highly recommend Durafoam Roofing.

The salesman, Lance, arrived as scheduled and walked the work area. He provided a folder with references and company information and gave us a verbal estimate on the spot and then asked if we would like to go over the details of the proposal with him, or would like it emailed. He offered to fill out the paperwork on the spot, but we had another appointment, so emailing worked better for us. He proposed a five and ten year warranty plan. We had questions on the warranty and insurance and he addressed our questions thoroughly. We obtained several other estimates from roofers, but decided to go with Durafoam. After making the deposit, Dave called in several days to start work the following week. He mentioned the possibility of rain and the start up date maybe adjusted, but they would advise if necessary. Dave came out the morning prior. He walked the roof and inspected the interior area from where the solar had been detached. He confirmed work would start the following day, Friday, unless it rained, if so, it may be delayed until Monday. Monday, a team of two arrived on time (between 8-8:30 AM) and promptly went to work. The foreman introduced himself at the start (Erin or Eric) and kept in touch with us throughout the day. For example, at one point they needed to disconnect the satellite dish, so he advised the service would be out for about thirty minutes. They checked out with me at the end of the day. The second day another crew came out to spray another layer of the coating, but the layer from the night before was still wet due to cool temperatures and the roof being sprayed late in the day. The workers advised they wanted to "do it right" and would return the next day to finish. They arrived the following day and as with the other days, rang the doorbell when starting and finishing. They cleaned up a few bits of yard debris (it wasn't bad) and said the work was finished. I called Lance and had him to come out to check on the area where the facia and plywood had been replaced, as the foam wasn't as thick in this area and we were concerned with drainage. He inspected the roof and area in question and assured me it wouldn't pool water and all was well. He noticed the gutter wasn't reinstalled from the facia. A team of three men stopped by when in the area (about a week later) and installed the gutter. They didn't call ahead, but I was glad I arrived shortly after they did, so I was able to show them where we stored some of the hardware for the gutter. It hasn't rained since the new roof has been installed, but if we have any leaks I will edit this evaluation.

Excellent, everything an promised and on time

These folks were great! They worked around our schedule when completing the estimate and were so good, we didn't even realize they had been here and completed all the work. There was no debris left on our driveway.

We started to communicate with Dave via e-mail which in stark contrast to a number of other roofing companies we had contacted worked very well. He checked out the roof and provided us with a detailed quote that specified all the different steps they proposed to carry out. We discussed in detail the materials they were planning to use and also how the application could be further improved by including the parapet walls. Dave was very patient, provided additional information about their materials as well as literature and links to different webpages. The installation went very smooth, Dave also recommended a reliable carpenter to work on the scruppers prior to roofing works. We were not there most of the time however his people were very professional and kept the overall installation very clean.

It went well. They were competitive and reliable.

The salesperson was prompt and professional, and knows what he is doing. They don't coat roofs that are not foam, so he explained how I could coat the patio roofs myself. (It is easy.) Also, they don't do roof tile repairs, but he had a person call me who came out and did that part of the job (unrelated to the main job). The telephone receptionist and the scheduler took little interest in getting us set up for the work, but once we got it scheduled, they showed up on time and finished well within their estimated time. The job looks very good to the untrained eye. We won't know how good the quality is until it rains. However, it appears to be very well done.

They were very professional. The estimator came exactly when he said. They started as soon as they could, after the rain. They were very careful with the foam because it is airborn for awhile. They covered everything and had us move our cars. They were polite and careful and we were impressed with their professionalism. We thought the price was competitive.

It was expensive but they did a nice job.

They are great. They are even in the BBB. I would highly recommend them to anyone because they are professional and have a great service. They are reasonably priced and worked hard the whole time.

The only complaint I had was that when they came to do the job they had to remove all the cables from the roof in order to install it. They never put the cables back up once the job was completed. I had to hire an other company to come out and reinstall them for $34. I have no complaints regarding the quality of their work.

After submitting my deposit, I had to call them after a couple of weeks to find out when they would start. They called me a few days later and gave me a start date. On that date, the crew arrived to remove the roof. From that point on, I heard from no one and did not know for sure that the job was complete until I received the invoice in the mail along with the warranty paperwork. The workers were very good about cleaning up. I have a pool and no debris ended up in the pool or anywhere else. Once the job was finished, there was only a little bit of debris around, much less than I thought. After the job was complete, I sent a letter complaining about the failure to re-set the pipes on the roof as agreed and, after a couple of weeks, I received a call saying that someone would take care of it and they did. Although the contract called for the replacement of the wood blocks holding the pipe in place, they were not replaced; all in all, however, very minor.

They did a great job. They were there when they said they would be, they cleaned up after themselves each day and they were finished when they said they would be.

Just after the new roof was put in place, the Phoenix area experienced abnormally large amounts of rain. So far, the roof has performed well and the chronic leaks associated with the old membrane roof have not returned. Durafoam is very punctual. Dave showed up exactly on time for his estimate appointment, and the work crew was equally punctual on the day the work was performed.
