Door Tech Garage Doors Phoenix

Could not get anyone to answer the phone or return my call. It would appear that Door Tech is no longer in business. If they are still in business they should have some respect for their customers.

I called on Thursday afternoon 1/26/17 Luck told me he could be here on Friday 1/27/17 between 10am and noon, which was fine. When Luke didn't show by 12:15pm I called, he didn't answer. I called again at 3pm to say, "don't bother coming", I also asked if something had happend that made him miss the appointment. I never heard from him again. Moral of this story, "No Call, No show"!

Outstanding. I call Luke at about 8:00AM and he said he would be there by 9:00AM. Sure enough by 9 he was here and immediately began the repair. By 10:00 all was repaired and operating beautifully.

Luke was excellent. He came out the same day, checked the garage door and pad fully, made the adjustments needed, explained exactly what he was going to do, he explained what he did after he was finished, cleaned up after himself, was very pleasant and polite. Everything works perfectly and I will call him if I have any problems at all. I plan to recommend him to my friends because he is honest and is very reasonable. In the past I've had well known companies come out to do work and they were just awful. Now I have a company I can rely on to fix my garage door properly.

Great. Tech was pleasant and got the job done fast. I ended up replacing one spring and adding another that should have been there all along.

Door tech said they would be out the same day and would call me and explain what was wrong. Instead they came the next day and did not call me about the problem. I had to call the tenant to see if they had come and then contact Door Tech after the fact to find out details and cost. Despite their promise, Door tech also did not send me a receipt showing what actually was done or the costs. Furthermore the cost charged was considerably higher than the Angie's list deal they advertised. Then 7 weeks later the garage door did not work again having similar problems so I called Door Tech to have it repaired as they claim to warrant their work and offer 24/7 service as well. But now after 3 days of calling leaving 5 messages I have received no call back. I do not provide such poor service to my tenants so I had to call another company to fix what they apparently did not in the first place and I also contacted Angie's list and my credit card company and filed disputes. Given their high ratings I am surprised by the poor quality work and terrible service. I recommend you avoid them and use some of the other more reputable firms with similar ratings here on Angie's list.

They were flexible on the service date. Professional and efficient. Got the work done in an hour.

Luke did an excellent job and I would highly recommend him. He was very accommodating and fast with his replacements/repairs.

It was fantastic. They had done some work and put in a new opener last year, and they gave me a credit from the service I had last year so they were able to get me a very good price for the door. (The credit was for parts that were included with the new door, and I did not need the parts so they gave me a credit) The technician was Brian. They are all a very nice group of people.

called for estimate on door that wasn't operating properly, thought it would be a simple fix, was told to replace the unit for approximately $400. something didn't seem right, after 10 minutes of videos of Youtube, a damp rag and airgun everything was perfect. It was a sensor issue. One of the easier fixes, but rather than attempting to fix it, I was just being sold. A bit disappointed more time wasn't put into giving me a real fix, I would have gladly paid to get it fixed. At least the trip out didn't cost me.

It went as well as it could. No issues except the lengthy detailed review I just completed and attempted to submit. Spool... and rejected?

Contacted late in the morning via AL and work was finished and cleaned up same day early afternoon. Pleasant experiece; professional technician.

They failed to provide an invoice after requesting it 3 times. Filing complaint with BBB.

I had the garage door opener installed back in June but the door was not opening/closing recently, so I had to get it serviced. The technician was a very pleasant young man and he knew what he was doing. He was about 10 minutes early, so he came and did the service before he was even supposed to be here. They replaced 2 parts. It was a fantastic experience. They also did not charge me for this service since it was under warranty.

My garage door broke on Sunday. I purchased an Angie's list deal that day for service on my broken spring. The next morning they messaged me at 8:00am and provided multiple options for same day service! They were really great working to fit my job in right away. Their tech was knowledgeable and provided excellent service. His work was efficient and high quality. He left my garage door performing better than it did prior to the break. I have a two spring system so the cost was little more than the one-spring deal but that wasn't a huge issue. We just worked out the difference. I'd use Door Tech again and would recommend them to others with garage issues.

They did the tune up. I also purchased a new garage door and they installed it. They prompt, informative, and courteous. I will and have recommended them to others.

installation was quick and painless. Technician was very friendly and willing to answer any and all questions. However, he did arrive 30 min after the scheduled appointment window and I never received warranty paperwork, which it was indicated would be emailed to me immediately after the appt.

Tye arrived early and quickly diagnosed the problem and gave me price quote of both part and labor. The part needed to be ordered so he tentatively scheduled the work to be done the day after tomorrow. There was a slight miscue for the repair day as the office didn't call to set up schedule; however, we called the office and--after a bit of confusion--learned that we would have repair completed as promised. Tye arrived, and in the process of installing the new part, he discovered that some wires were wrapped too tightly around the motor. He had some wire in his truck, spliced the new wire with the old to extend the length and correct what could have become a problem later on. The charge remained as quoted, and we were pleased with the service overall.

Wow - just wow. Luke and his team are just amazing, and I don't make comments like that lightly. They installed our very unique doors two years ago and did a fantastic job. They are, however, extremely heavy- far more so than normal doors. They warned us about this up front, so we knew there'd probably be more maintenance than typical. But my wife and I LOVE the look of them (black aluminum frame, mirrored glass panels - the only ones of their kind we've ever seen). With the heat lately, one of the doors started binding a bit and was temperamental lately. On Sunday, it actually was binding enough that it wouldn't close without real effort. I shot DoorTech/Luke an email late Sunday night asking for help, and they were there on Monday at 10AM. Far quicker than any reasonable person could expect. They took care of the issue, and suggested replacing the wheels on the door with newer/upgraded ones to help with the weight issue. Everything was done at no charge to me (other than paying for the new wheels). Again, the door is 2 years old and I figured it was out of warranty. They stepped up, fixed the issue, and basically charged me the bare minimum they could. Once again I was just blown away. Luke knows how to run a business. I will never go anywhere else for service or new doors (and they've put 5 doors in for us in the past 2 years). I don't think I've ever been so impressed with a contractor in my life. These guys are AWESOME.

The tech, Ty, was very friendly and seemed honest. He listened to what I wanted done and made his recommendations. He didn't try to oversell me anything. I liked that fact that they didn't change me a trip fee for getting an estimate. Their estimate was fair compared to other companies. I scheduled a day for them to come back and do the work and he came at the earlier part of the 2 hr window as I requested. He got the work completed in the time frame he said it would take. Ty was easy to talk to and answered all my questions. I will contact this company again for future work.
