Tracks tightened. All elements lubed. Light bulb replaced. Extra remote provided.

We looked at three companies. The first recommended a new opener mechanism for $940. The second recommended one as well but quoted $650 for the same thing. Neither company attempted to evaluate the problem even though the door worked consistently while they were there. Ron from Door Doctor said it was one of two things causing the problem, one fixable and the other not worth the money to repair i.e. replace the opening mechanism. He took it apart, found the issue, replaced the part, serviced the rest of the door and charged $110. I did not sense that he was looking to up sell me or do more than was necessary to fix the opener. This is someone I would want to do business with again. He was also prompt on his arrival and they fit us into their schedule quickly.

It was okay, nothing terrible. Their advertising said that it was a $19 service call that they would deduct from any work that they did. The only thing that I asked them to do was to replace the seal on the bottom of the door. I priced the cost of those seals and they weren't that terribly expensive. I felt that the cost for the installed seal that they gave me was a little bit on the high side, with no real explanation of what cost what. It was just, "Here is the amount you owe." So that was the only concern that I had. Other than that, he did a good job. He went through the system and made sure that everything was working. He gave me some heads up on some damage that was being done because there was a problem with the way the door was buckling. The tech that was out here was quite good and professional but he didn't give me that feeling of being fully forthcoming.

Excellent - no problems The Technician pointed out 2 other areas that needed attantion. The seal at the bottom of the door was badly torn and the door wheels were plastic. He gave me a price to replace both items for $120.00 which I went forward with. There was no pressure and I could see the problems.

CALLED DOOR DOCTOR ON JAN 20th..got a real human. Was able to come out that same day. I advised the following day would be better; he gave me a time window and said I would get a call when about 30 minutes out. Adam called the next day to say he was on the way as promised. He was not entirely sure if the problem was sensor related or with the circuit board. We checked the age of the motor and I opted to go with a complete replacement utilizing an Angies deal. Adam seemed genuinely honest with respect to the pros and cons of two repair approaches as well as whether to go with a belt or chain drive. There was no up-selling, no pressure, The job was completed in just under an hour..all old parts were removed. Efficient, professional and friendly. So far, very satisfied..a positive experience.

I had my two toddlers with me on that day at home with me. He was so patience during his visit and even try to explain things for me. He made that service a very pleasant and professional one.

Very prompt. Called ahead as promised. On time. Ron was very professional and personable. Recommended replacing garage door ASAP after showing me the extent of the problem. Identified the original door opener problem right away and proceeded to fix it. Also corrected minor wiring issue while here. Will use Ron and The Door Doctor to replace the garage door within the next few months, finances permitting. Ron suggested using an Angie's List coupon to replace the door in order to save money. Will definitely use and recommend The Door Doctor!

The Door Doctor repair man was prompt, professional and very knowledgeable. He found out why my garage door was not working with my remote, explained the issue to me and then quickly repaired it. He also lubbed the garage opener parts so now it opens and closes very smoothly and quietly. I was very impressed with the entire experience of having this company fix my garage issue and I would hire them again without hesitation.

It was wonderful! The guy was great and went above and beyond what I expected. I seriously expected he would say I needed a new door. And, he didn't make me feel stupid for backing into the garage. He was prompt in getting out to my place. I couldn't close the door and he understood the urgency. I wish there was a SUPER excellent A+ option. I cannot say enough!

They called in advance, let me know when to expect them, what they'd be doing. They showed me the debris in the sensors to make sure I saw the issue with the door. They had the sensors with them in the truck, and replaced them within 30-40 minutes. My door has been working great ever since.

Door Doctor was very responsive from the time that I signed up for the service through Angie's List, to their appointment confirmation, and arrival time. They were very prompt, courteous, knowledgeable, and did an excellent job. I would use them again in the future and am currently considering a new garage door and they have provided me with a quote as requested. I'd use them again in a minute.

Service was excellent. Technician called on a Friday with an explanation of what needed to be done with a cost and told me when he could do it. I told him to take care of the problem. He called me upon completion on Monday with the total as quoted. He even cleaned the other garage door rollers and ensured they were in working order plus provided additional piece of mind as this home is a rental and I live 3,000 miles away. Very professional--would use this agency again.

Called after 5pm for service on my garage door opener. Made an appointment for service the next day. They were at my home for service promptly at the time of my appointment. After a quick look at the problem Adam explained what needed to be done. He gave me the cost for repair. I ask about installing a new opener and it was no problem and he went to work on replacing it. I was very happy with the service and would highly recommend this company.

Ron was able to respond to my call the next day. He accommodated my schedule and arrived on time. He found a probable cause of my problem very quickly. It was minor and he completed a quick fix. The service also included routine maintenance on the door. I was very pleased with this service and will use them again if needed.

.I am very satisfied with the installation from this company and would recommend to others in the future. I am a senior citizen and have had problems with other garage door repair people trying to rip me off sending people that do not know what they are doing.

The company was WAY responsive. The tech (Adam) was friendly and knowledgeable. The work was done when and as promised for a fair price. We will keep this company as out go-to garage door repair provider. Thanks for a good job, folks!

Door Doctor Team was great. I bought the $19 service call on a Sunday, and within minutes I was talking to Ron to schedule for Monday afternoon. Adam was the technician that did the work. On time, polite, and he gave me a good description of the challenges my two doors had. Chose to replace the most frequently used system, but Adam was able to take a functioning part from the replaced unit and put it into my second system. Second system worked like a charm, and that saved me from having to buy a second new unit or even a part. Pick these guys for your garage door work!

Fast , professional and quality work

Installer was efficient and performed excellent service. Cleaned up after completion and explained operation in detail. I recommend this company and would do business again.
